Exceptional Solar installation
Fantastic experience from start to finish. From meeting Rick and getting our initial quote right through to the brilliant team of installers, who fitted the whole system in one day! I would also mention the office staff who were all very helpful.
I had thought about a solar system for several years and contacted a few other installers. EBC being local as well as that "first impression" gave me confidence that they were the company to go with. Definitely the correct choice, every member of staff was professional and polite with an exceptional work ethic.
Very impressed with the whole system.
I would highly recommend the Edinburgh Boiler Company to anyone else thinking about a solar system.

The EBC did a terrific job installing…
The EBC did a terrific job installing my mum's new Central heating system. They arrived promptly at 7,30am with all the trades, installed a full system with 9 new radiators, new boiler, thermostat and controls, under-house venting and fans in both bathrooms and kitchen. And amazingly, they were out by 4pm having done a really smooth handover and taken all the refuse. I was beyond impressed by their professionalism and friendliness. They even left me one caramel wafer in the packet! Delighted and would recommend to anyone.

New combi boiler installation
Excellent service as usual from this company. Our 25 year old boiler sprung a substantial leak on Saturday morning and Sean came out quickly to have a look. Not unexpectedly, we needed a new boiler! We received a quote that afternoon, which we accepted and then waited until Monday to find out when we could expect installation. We were thrilled to find out that the boiler was actually going to be installed that day as Sean had juggled things around a bit to fit us in since we had no hot water. He duly arrived and fitted the boiler with care, expertise, efficiency and professionalism. A really nice guy who impressed us with his friendliness and his consideration for us. We're very pleased with the whole experience and the boiler was a really nice Worcester 4000 at a good price.
This company is a godsend and we'll keep recommending them when we can!

Exceptional service from start to…
Exceptional service from start to finish. This is our second boiler with Edinburgh Boiler Company in the last 10 months due to house moves, and once again they’ve been excellent to deal with.
The surveyor was brilliant — he took the time to understand what would work best for our home and recommended the solution he genuinely thought was right, rather than simply pushing the most expensive option.
Joey, who installed our last boiler, was fantastic. Friendly, respectful of our home, and clearly very knowledgeable. The installation was carried out to a really high standard.
The aftercare has also been excellent, and the joiner did an absolute 10/10 job tidying up and finishing the areas where the old boiler and water tank had been removed.
Really impressed again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Edinburgh Boiler Company.

We've just had solar panels and batteries installed by The Edinburgh Boiler Company
We've just had solar panels with batteries installed on our house by the Edinburgh Boiler Company. Rick the surveyor was extremely polite and knowledgeable regarding the inns and outs of solar, and accommodated my preferred equipment manufacturer into what was a very competitive quote.
The installation team arrived on the expected day, along with the scaffolders, and did a terrific job of installing all the equipment with minimal visual impact from the necessary cable runs. Everything was successfully commissioned and the house, garage and garden left clean and tidy.
Everyone was polite and helpful, and really cared about doing a professional job. I definitely recommend this company if you're thinking of upgrading to solar panels 👍

Purchased a new boiler and had it installed. There were some delays in the process before everything was complete, but EBC were courteous and professional throughout.

Quality work from a local company.
From site survey to installation The Edin Boiler Co were a joy to interact with. Clearly knowledgeable about all aspects of PV with home battery they were able to provide pros and cons for various systems using words that left me feeling comfortable in the decision I made.
The installation from scaffolding to commission went perfectly by people who were local, keen to do work to a high standard and importantly did a comprehensive clean up prior to leaving.
If you are looking for a local firm to do a solar installation I highly recommend Rick and his team at The Edinburgh Boiler Company.

We discovered that we had no hot water…
We discovered that we had no hot water this morning so I phoned Edinburgh Boiler Co. (they service our boiler ) and within a couple of hours an engineer turned up and carried out the replacement of a valve. We were due to have the boiler serviced tomorrow but the engineer did at the same time which was very helpful.
A great company!!

Efficient but some issues at the end.
Had an engineer out next day to give us a quote, which was provided swiftly and good value compared to other quotes we received. Finance was also very simple to set up. Work commenced 2 weeks later and was 90% finished in 1.5 days by a friendly and competent engineer Joey. Some issues at the end with having to call the office to get the joiner and builder back to finish some holes and put cabinets back, it was not communicated to me initially that this was not part of the 2-day installation estimate. Overall I'm happy with the new boiler though.

Just had a new combi boiler installed. The work was completed in a day and the old boiler was collected for recycle.
We required a joiner to fill in a hole around the flue and to fix the cupboard door, they came within 2 days. Pleasant workers, very happy with the service provided. Thanks

Solar PV Installation - exemplary service
I came back to Edinburgh Boiler Co as a repeat customer. Back in February, they installed a new gas boiler for me after mine failed at the coldest time of the year. That job was professional from beginning to end.
So when I wanted solar PV, I decided to give them a try. I had already had four or five other quotes, some of which were very good, so EBC had a lot to live up to. However, when their Solar PV surveyor visited my come to do the survey, I knew straight away that they were up to the job. The surveyor was polite, friendly and very professional, explaining everything very clearly.
Then the Proposal arrived a couple of days later - it was by far the highest standard of proposal I had seen. We negotiated a little on the specification and the price and I decided to go ahead.
We then moved into the planning phase and EBC put a really competent project manager on the case. She took care of everything, ensuring the project stayed on track. She registered all the required paperwork, arranged the scaffolders, the roofers and the solar PV electrical team. What's more, she kept me fully informed at all times - fantastic.
Then came the time for the installation. The scaffold team arrived promptly on Monday morning and had the scaffold erected without fuss within 3 hours. The roofers and electricians arrived at 8 am the next day, led by a very competent lead electrician who acted as the on-site project manager, guiding all team members to ensure the job was done properly. The roofers did a great job, fixing the solar PV mounting rails and the actual panels, ensuring the roof remained leak proof. They even replaced a few slipped slates for me. By 4.30 pm that day, the system was up and running and producing all my electrical power. Now my electricity bill has dropped to one sixth of what it was before.
So, I'm very pleased with the job EBC did for me. I think the key factors in the success are professionalism, good knowledge of solar technology and above all, the use of project managers during planning and when the installation was done. On the basis of this experience, I can't recommend EBC highly enough.
