The waiting time for an appointment was short. The doctor was very kind and understanding which made her easy to talk to. Overall this led me to have a great overall experience.

They were very patient with me. I was working with my GP to set up a shared care agreement and asked them a tonne of questions over the course of a month before finally asking for an appointment, they were very willing and able to answer any questions I had. They were quick to respond to any emails overall very helpful.
Would highly recommend for anyone tired of NHS wait lists

They are friendly and help you with any questions you might have. Everything is very clear too.

I think trans people are looking for two things from gender affirming healthcare: To feel heard & understood, and to feel secure in access to treatment. The Gender Clinic excelled at both of these.

At my appointment Dr Sylvia Hejda-Forde came across incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate and experienced. I found the appointment deeply validating and felt in very safe hands.

Getting the appointment was quick and easy, and the admin team were kind and helpful throughout.

All in all a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend them!

Everything has just been perfectly smooth and comfortable. Getting in touch, talking to Dr. Leontis and finalising the report with the staff... each step has been incredibly easy and well handled. They make you feel at ease and valuable. It's nice when things work as meant to be.

What can I say about this clinic, other than it is fantastic! After a few years of waiting to hear back from Porterbrook Clinic, I decided to save a little money and go privately. I was not disappointed! Every step from initiating contact, the telephone appointment with payment, to the appointment itself was made so easy. Every member I spoke to over the phone were very friendly, and sympathetic to my experience.

Dr Khalid who took my assessment was wonderful. Listened carefully and asked questions, as well as providing additional advice on lifestyle changes, egg preservation and additional help groups. My report was sent off within a week to my clinic of choice.

These people's response times are insanely short- like half a hour to a day short. So are their waiting lists! Everyone was super helpful and caring, and the woman I saw was amazing too. It all feels super personal and if you have questions they're great for responding. A bit on the expensive side but if you're looking for speedy care these are your people.

Very impressed by the speed in which emails are answered. Communication is fantastic and I had no probs booking my appointment for a diagnosis and referral for hormones. The waiting list for an appointment is short, you can get one in a few weeks, or sometimes even shorter than that. I booked an appointment with Dr Khalid. She is very nice and respected my non binary identity. I can't fault anything with the service and am so excited for the next stage in my transition.

As a non-binary person I went to The Gender Clinic to get a gender dysphoria diagnosis and surgery referral for FTN top surgery. After contacting them they reached out to me within a day, I was able to get an appointment 2 weeks later (I was offered multiple options as early as a week after the call). I spoke to Dr Sylvia Hejda-Forde for my assessment appointment who was very easy to talk to and was able to provide both diagnosis and referral in a single appointment.

Got my gender dysphoria diagnosis with Dr Anderson and it was great! I felt validated, understood and comfortable sharing my experiences!

Positive, informative , helpful and reassuring.

Didn't have any problems in getting my referral for hormones. Everything was fast and simple which took a lot of the stress out of the experience. Was quite nervous prior to my video consultation but Dr Leontis was incredibly friendly and supportive and made me feel properly heard and secure in the process.

all very organised. got my GD diagnosis and recomendation for top surgery. the report was comprehensive and everyone involved was very nice and professional. I was impressed with how quickly i got an appointment and the report through.
