Order has not arrived. Tried to phone but the number is not recognised . I would not recommend this company .

Easy to use website and detailed descriptions of lampshades. Good prices as well.

If I could give zero, I would. Bought bulbs and every bulb that was fitted exploded sending hot ash and glass across the room. Ruined light switches and fittings and had to pay electrician. Fuming! Absolutely no response from these cowboys to numerous emails and calls. Worse company I have EVER dealt with. Next stop Trading standards.

I am not surprised to see people saying AVOID! You should not get involved with this company.
I have a porchlight still under warranty. I returned it for repair or replacement, as instructed, on 13th January. I have called many times and spoken with a very nice man. He has a detailed record of our calls, and assures me that someone will be in touch. But they never follow up. It has dawned on me that this company is doing absolutely nothing and has no intention of doing anything at all. They have effectively stolen my lamp!

I ordered light bulbs. Ended up with wrong ones. Emailed them 3 times and called and left message. Retuned them and no refund

Items did not arrive. No response to emails, telephone calls or answerphone messages. Refund request submitted to PayPal and soon after money returned to my account.

Super fast delivery. The web site structure made it easy to find the appropriate items. The specifications were clearly stated and easy to understand.

Great range of quality unusual fittings just what I had been looking for. Staff really helpful as matching pendant light was out of stock but they were able to show me and source similar style fitting and then added replacement glass shade onto site for me to purchase.

Absolutely abysmal service. Lamp arrived and was installed. One of the glass shades didn't fit. I alerted them immediately. Despite repeated reassurances, no replacement has arrived. They either employ people who are incapable of communicating/doing their job OR they're a bunch of crooks. Not sure which... AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Edit: Company finally made contact only to blame ME for not returning the lamp before a new one was sent out (their employee had agreed to send a new lamp out in this circumstance due to the lamp already being installed on the wall and wired in). Zero communication between parties at the company ... This is taking up so much of my time. Next step will be contacting PayPal.

Update: I gave them more chances to resolve the issue. False promises made, no response to email, no promised phone call back. PayPal alerted and ruled in my favour. I'd advise against using this company but if you feel you must, use PayPal and fight your case. Trading standards will also be alerted.

Bought a replacement glass shade for an old desk lamp. I'd been having trouble finding anything suitable but Thelightingcentre had just what I wanted. Service was first class - ordering was easy and the item arrived next working day, well packed and secure. Very pleased and happy to recommend the company on the basis of my experience.
