Customer service is non existent

Customer service is non existent. Fine if you get what you want but if not (one of our shades had a chip) it is impossible to resolve. Advertised phone number not available. Multiple emails ignored. Website form no response. Live chat (not really live as had to try over several hours to get a response) - promise of return label and replacement did not happen, and no further update.
I would avoid this company.

Don't Order from this Company

Ordered some new light switches and plug sockets on 02/04/2026 and received a confirmation email....then nothing!
Have emailed asking where my goods are, have tried a FB message and their chat service that doesn't work but on top of all of that if you phone them you get an automated message saying 'we cannot answer for technical reasons!' Presumably the 'technical reason' being that they don't want to answer!
Have now started a dispute via our bank to get our money back, do not order from these people as you will not receive your goods in all likelyhood.

Ordered a ceiling light with delivery…

Ordered a ceiling light with delivery in 2-3 days, day 9 now and no delivery. Tried emailing with no response, tried calling and seemingly they have technical issues so can’t accept any calls. Tried chat no response whatsoever. Had no other option but to raise a case for goods not received with my bank. Stay well clear of this company, wish I had read the reviews on here beforehand.

Scam?

I ordered a lamp and the Estimated Delivery time was - 2 - 3 working Days. We're 8 days later and nothing has happened.

You can't call them or email them, no response.

Great Price, Fast Delivery

Great experience with The Lighting Centre. The price was very competitive — around 30% cheaper than the high street for the same product.
Delivery was quick and hassle-free, plus regular updates on my order status and delivery.
Excellent value for money and a smooth buying experience. I’d definitely use them again and would happily recommend them to others.

Found the ideal fitting

We were able to purchase a light fitting that we could not find anywhere else at a very reasonable price. Delivery was fast and it arrived in great condition well packed. My only slight reservation was that the postage cost was on the high side (certainly Vs free via Amazon) however it was 24 hour and through a reputable courier so was justified.

Really poor - Do not buy from them.

If i could give 0 stars i would.
I ordered some overpriced lamps which looked beautiful in the image, so i thought they might be worth the money. When they arrived, they were a different colour to the image, and looked cheap. I contacted them to ask about the returns process. No response. So i sent them back to the address on the invoice. Turns out, that's not their address, so i am now waiting for Royal Mail to send them back to me.
Luckily i bought them through Paypal, so i was able to raise a case. They then said they would give me a refund if i returned the lamps (they provided their actual address)... But they gave me a deadline of just over a week to return, otherwise they would not honour the refund.
Today is the deadline. Royal Mail still haven't returned the lamps so I don't have them to send them back, so I won't get a refund.
AWFUL customer service and poor products.
PLEASE do not waste your money on this shop!
