Very odd exchange with these people…
Very odd exchange with these people this morning. First, was promised a next day site visit, confirmed by text. The, 15 minutes later, got a call saying "We're not coming 'cos of the charges". I said "I'll pay your congestion charges". They said "We're not coming". Phone cut off. Not impressed.

Excellent service. Had problems with my door on Saturday morning, got in touch with Tom’s and their engineer was at mine by mid afternoon, diagnosed and fixed the problem by about 4pm. Excellent service and the engineer was friendly, explained what he was doing and was very efficient. Recommended

Upset disabled customer
Our garage door broke leaving it unsecured. Toms advertised as same day call-out. Then I had an automated call saying they would be here the next. Again an automated call saying they were too busy even though they had available appointments on line. We are now currently left all weekend unable to use or lock garage. DO NOT use. They don’t turn up

Responsive, Quick, Efficient, Effective
Very prompt in responding to the enquiry, and great at scheduling an engineer for the following morning. The engineer was excellent, and devised a solution to get the door open with absolutely minimal damage. He was then able to fit a new locking handle and service the entire mechanism.
I thought the cost of the new locking handle was a little steep, but considering it was an emergency, and it was fixed both quickly and efficiently, I wouldn't knock a star off for that. Overall, very happy. Thank you.

Peter arrived after a long drive
Peter arrived after a long drive, Brighton.
Door had come off runners as garage had bowed. Replaced cables bolted door frame to the floor as the wall was out of line. Door now shuts true and locks. Excellent work from Peter.
