True Link has been a great way to allow my special needs son to have his own debit card to use for spending. The limits, notifications and reports available are very helpful and the staff are quick to answer any questions or provide guidance on the system!

Easy app to use. Just perfect for my Mom without using a pin. She has dementia and can’t remember one. Allows me control but her the independence to know that she always has funds available to her.

Each time I have made an inquiry to True Link, they have been very prompt in their answers! They are very receptive to helping in any way they possibly can. All of my experiences have been excellent.

Very supportive and watch out for activity for my father.

On the whole not a bad experience, although I think the fees of $12 a month are high.
However, TrueLink cancelled the card of my relative (a vulnerable adult) without providing notice. The cardholder agreement allows for this, which makes this legal.
Having said that, this approach is out of line with TrueLink's claim to serve the financially vulnerable. I would think that a courtesy notice warning that an account is about to be closed is in order. I now have a vulnerable disabled adult without access to the card and therefore without access to funds should she have an emergency.
It took quite a few tries to get Customer Service to respond as well, which was not encouraging.
Do better.

This card has great features, like routine funding, choosing what the card can be used for, turning on and off spending, etc. A great card for maximum control over spending needs.

As a fiduciary, I have used the True Link debit card effectively with a variety of clients, including those with mental health struggles, at risk adults, and other adults that wish to create better spending and savings habits. I have used this product for at least 10 years and have always received excellent customer support from the administrator's perspective and clients have had positive experiences as well.

Give me flexibility to give staff a non cash way to purchase items for my disabled adult child. Great for record keeping.

True link are just another generation of scammer. I am a card administrator the card was close a day to Ronald mri scan and they refused to make a refund of the remaining balance in the amount of 1205.63. I tried calling I was blocked same goes to the email. I won't recommend their services to anyone.

We got this card to pay the bills for my Dad with Dementia. The customer service is well worth it- from onboarding (which was super simple) to chat and email. The only thing I would warn others of, is be prepared for new account transfers from an outside bank is held for an extended amount of time, so plan accordingly. I was able to contact them and answered a few simple questions, send in a bank statement and they lifted the extended hold.

Because of True Link, my relative is able to maintain some degree of financial independence while also maintaining his sobriety and no longer bankrupting himself through alcohol-fueled indiscretions. We tried other solutions before we found True Link, and none were adequate. I’m able to monitor and limit his spending without feeling overbearing, to me or to him. True Link has been a gift.
