My employment agency has a remarkably short list of approved umbrella companies they work with, umbrella.co.uk being one of them. 2 pre sign-up enquiries got completely ignored and phone calls not returned, I eventually got through to someone who would be my point of contact who assured me this was not normal and that they normally reply promptly; I'm still waiting 1 week on for him to reply to an email, in the meantime, I'm now halfway though the month, still not setup on their system and unable to submit timesheets or get paid.
They did manage to subscribe me to their newsletter which I didn't ask for.
And before you reply asking me to contact your generic customer service email, think about what I've just written.

I was provided with the quote. had few questions se replied to email of person who contacted me but had no respond what so ever, she instead went ahead and registered me with the agency despite me saying i need to think about it.

Sloppy service. Payments repeatedly either late, or paid in stupid increments (ie: £7.23, £19.08, ,£220.32), and where there are more than one employer/ contract, then pay completely separately and still in stupid increments, all meaning I have to then go through everything to make sure it is all correct- why they cant, as others do, just provide a service which is uncomplicated and collate payments into one single payment, pay on time, instead of making me check and do part of their job is beyond me (and themselves apparently). I couldn't access timeaheets for a period, further complicating matters. Why am I paying? Not from next week when I have arranged a separate UC and I have gladly left this company.
