Incompetent and Unprofessional
I don't know how these guys stay in business. They are absolutely the WORST pick of any of these type supplier businesses. They will cheat you on invoices. From week to week prices will not be correct or you will be charged for something that was not delivered. They will lose your employees uniforms and let you go weeks on end without replacing or outright accuse you of lying about them losing uniforms. But then a couple of pieces of uniforms will turn up with them. Their managers and office administration are NOT nice. The accounts receivable **** is completely inept at their job. You have to go through their delivery tickets and invoices with a fine tooth comb to catch all the inaccuracies. The incompetence and lack of care in staggering. Do not do business with these people. Nothing but liars
I've never seen a company that lied so much, I made a uniform order in Jan 2023, it's now Sept 2023, every Thursday when my uniforms are suppose to be here, they have a different excuse why they are not. My company records conversations, and I can play back thier constant lies and false promises, I have begged to get out of my contract, now they have breached it, I hope they enjoy my attorneys letter to them. Go-to Aramark they are 10 times better than unifirst... I hate giving bad reviews but Unifirst needs to go out of business they suck.......
Horrible customer service
Horrible customer service. They lost my guys uniforms and took 2 months to get replacements. Can't get anyone to call me back. I'm a long time customer and my contract is up in April of 2024 and then I'm done with them.

If I could give them a 0 I would. I have had Unifirst for 10 years and each year they are worse! I signed a new contract with the promise of better service. Literally 2 months after signing they went up on our rates, our uniforms are contantly wrong and or missing, they forget to bring our rugs. We have had the absolute worst service from this company. I have made complaints after complaints and nothing changes except th driver. I have recently turned in a cancellation letter and was asked to give them 60 days to make it right (which I didn't want to do) because anyone can do it right for 2 months and if you can provide good service for 2 months why not all of the time? Our colors are black and red and last week 1 of my employees got 7 pair of blue pants (with his name on it) they left no rags and didn't pick up the dirty ones and didn't have us sign anything. I called and thy didn't come back. They have forgotten all of our uniforms for 2 weeks before where my guys had no uniforms because Unifirst lost them and couldn't find them. I called and emailed the supervisor this past week and have not received a response! Since they won't respond to my calles or emails for them to fix last weeks service and to cancel my service without havind to pay out my contract , this seems to be the only way to get a response, maybe! Beware!

Delivery driver backs into my car and acknowledges he did it and after leaving with the understanding his supervisor with let me know what steps to take to repair my vehicle. Later that day Kevin the supervisor claims his truck did not hit my car. Since I didn't call the cops for a report because I didn't want the driver to get in trouble I was screwed! So I told him to pick up his rugs and terminate service and he told me to pay out the contract. At this point I advised him I didn't sign any contract which they always asked for. Do not sign any contracts with this company.

The worst. Drivers are nice but the company itself is unbelievably poorly managed. Calls go unanswered. Drivers are told to not bother with delivery signatures but if you complain they are bringing things you didn't ask for, good luck. They will ignore you for months and months when you ask to make changes to a contract and then claim the contract renewed. Don't get caught.

I am only giving the company 2 stars because of your driver Steve, in the Saginaw Michigan area, he goes above and beyond to try and take care of his customers. Sorry to say his supervisor Brandon, is cocky and doesn't care if he loses business, it apparently doesn't affect him. A little over half of our uniform inventory disappeared 2 months ago, nobody knows where, new lab coats were ordered, it took a month and a half to get some back, but to date we are still missing about 20. Knowing this Steve has been making sure to pick up some coats mid way through the week, and making sure they are cleaned and returned before our start time so we do not run out. Brandon however, after being told by Steve and myself more than once our start time, doesn't care causing us to have to stand around waiting for him to show up whenever he pleases. We will be moving on in the near future, we can't keep working with a company that doesn't seem to care.

One of the drivers Josh Slater is probably one of the best customer service individuals in this industry! Knows the products, maintains his service with his customers. Always polite and works hard to make sure the customer is satisfied, with his products and service. You don't find this kind of old fashioned service anymore.
Being charged for things I didn’t agree to
I had an agreement with Unifirst to stock our paper towels and make sure our inventory never runs out. The paper towels ran out, the next day no paper towels were delivered with our order. I was able to order a box of the same paper towels from Sysco for about $40 less. I told the driver not to bring me any more towels since they charged 40% more and didn’t keep the inventory up. They told me they would charge me $1 for each dispenser, which I agreed to. They started to charge me for all the dispensers. I told them to take off the charges, they still charged me and my drew the money from my checking account. No one other than the driver has responded to my concerns.

I would give 0 stars if I could. Each week we are missing items, or we receive someone else's items. But the bill always comes with all the items being charged, so you better be standing at the door when the driver is about to leave and remind him to adjust the invoice, otherwise you will pay for everything although they deliver about 60% of what you need on a good week. Customer service is nonexistent, I am still waiting for a manager to call me about incorrect charges from over 2 months ago. They billed my credit card for the incorrect amount, hundreds of dollars more than I signed for on each week's invoice. No one at corporate service can do anything, they just pass it off to a manager, who doesn't follow up. Local branch hasn't been staffed and has constant turnover, which I can now see why. Stay far away.
uni-worst. DO NOT USE UNIFIRST
Had a sales rep stop in to discuss uniforms for my guys at our Car Dealership. Right off the bat the sales rep says if you don't like our service than return everything and we will be done. I agreed because why not give them a try when there is no risk to a contract. (I do not sign Contracts). We asked him about this multiple times. Each time the rep stated the same "if you do not like the service then return everything and thats it." Well as you can guess their service sucked. Billing never right, extra items on bills that I did not authorize, Red rags always dirty and full of metal shavings which my techs have been cut on numerous times. Uniforms dirty and some weeks techs didn't receive uniforms. Uniforms from other garages we would receive. Extra charges for oil stained shirts when they told us shirts are oil resistant. I terminated service just like our sales rep told us we could and now they are stating we have a 5 year contract. Oh and the sales rep no longer works for the company. Go figure! They are looking for $10,000 and will never get it! We have three witness's to the rep telling us we could cancel at anytime. We will fight this and fight this. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE LIARS AND SCAMMERS.
Poor Quality and customer service
We are a small business with 5 employees, 3 who wear uniforms. We started services with Unifirst in 2015.
The first couple of years were good. The last 3 were bad. We were continually having issues with correct uniforms being delivered, billed for uniforms we didn't get, billed for new uniform patches after the uniforms were lost by Unifirst, and billing mistakes. This was almost a constant problem for 2 1/2 years.
We would continually get a different driver almost monthly, sometimes more often than that. We would call and make complaints, it would take them 1-2 weeks to resolve them and then it would happen again, over and over. Finally in December 2021, we tried to cancel our contract. We called multiple times and left multiple messages over the period of 4 weeks with not 1 return phone call.
We informed them that we wanted to cancel the contract. Finally after 4 weeks the branch manager called and informed us that we could not cancel our contract because it had already been renewed, which we were never made aware that it was up for renewal. We told the manager that we had went ahead and signed with a different company that was willing to make things right for us as a small business. The manager preceded to get very rude and hollering, telling us that we COULD NOT cancel our contract and if we went forward that they would turn it over to their lawyers.
They then proceeded to sue us through Arbitration in the amount that would have been billed if we had stayed with them for 5 yrs. What reputable company woudl do that to a long term customer or any customer for that matter? The arbitration started in July 2022 and ended in Jan. 2023 with a ruling for Unifirst.
Despite them having multiple documents that supported the reasoning for the cancellation.
Unifirst does not stand behind their end of the contract which is to provide adequate services. I would not recommend this company to anyone!!

This is the worst uniform company in the united states. Their customer service is horrible. they do not respond to problems with any thing but excuses as to why you have not baby sat their drivers. You pay for evrything, The measure you its wrong you pay restocking and emblem charges. You measure its wrong you pay for all those things again. If they losse you uniforms you pay not only for the clothes but emblem charge and setup fee. Just know if anything happens you are on your own.

Lousy billing
My church and parochial school use Unifirst for a variety of services. Last year we spent over $25K with them. Their billing service is beyond horrible. They haven't sent a correct invoice since last April. I dread dealing with them.
