There was a delay in delivery this time. I have been told that it was a technical problem with my researcher but given the item was a piece of silver work made by my father, I became anxious that there was some vital detail missing. Please note that 'way in the past, I had a fair number of valuations from VMS, all of which were delivered on time and with no problems - hence my concern on tis occasion

Very Fair
I submitted two small painting that I though were watercolours. They turned out to be prints and worth $10-20. Because the value was so low they refused to take any of my credits. Amazing!

I had five appraisals done, and four of them were quite complete. One of them was pretty basic, but still helpful. I appreciated the information on the likely age of my items and where they were produced.

As stated in some previous emails, adding some more instruction would help eliminate some confusion.
1. Let customers know they cannot save more than 1 draft and that each draft you save, replaces the one before it.
2. What is the point of having an app, if the app cannot do something as simple as saving your drafts/listings when created. I guess problem #1 goes with problem #2.

Not happy with inexperienced appraisers.
I've had three reviews over the last few weeks and all three of them were inaccurate. The appraised values, were completely off and whomever presented the information on each item, appeared to have NO EXPERIENCE with these items. I requested a full refund but was denied and told, if I sold them for more than their appraised value they put on them, THEN they would issue a refund. However, I'm not selling them! So that is meaningless! I will NOT be using them again for any more appraisals. Please beware if you decide to use them.

We were sorry to be the bearer of bad news, however your items are simply not worth as much as you believe them to be.
Disappointing though that will of course be to you, it does not make our appraisals wrong, or our specialists inexperienced.
We would of course always wish to bring good news, however our clients rely on our honesty and integrity and we will not compromise on that to avoid a bad review.
All of our specialists have many years experience, with up to date knowledge of the current market. Each is passionate about sharing their knowledge and insight with our clients.
Your items were appraised by the relevant specialist in that area of expertise. I am afraid all 3 items you submitted to us for appraisal are not the authentic items you thought them to be.
