Horrible experience with Woodbow!
Horrible experience! If there is a negative score, I would gave them a score of -10. After the initial charge of $399, I told them do not renew my subscription. However, hey keep charging my card money of $99 each week, which I told them many times please stop doing it. The manager
Rabinesh Chand said he was going to take care of it, but nothing happened. I am working with my credit card company to dispute all the charges. Terrible expericence!
DON'T DO IT
DON'T DO IT. What a terrible experience. I contacted WoodBows to hire them for VA services, and scheduled a meeting with Christopher. He called and after we talked I paid for three weeks of their service.
A few days later, Rabinesh contacted me and asked when I could meet. I suggested a time and he didn't email me back. The next day I suggested another time aaaaaaand, crickets. I tried to reach him on the phone and the number he gave me had a busy signal every time I called. I kept calling all day and then emailed again, and did not get a reply. I called Christopher and he didn't answer. Left a message and he didn't call me back. I called the main WoodBows number over and over and each time it went to voicemail or was busy. Left a message and they didn't call me back. I put Rabinesh's in a Google search, and it comes up as a different company called Serve Team.
Finally I got Angelo on the phone and he promised to make it up to me and said they'd get right to work. He set up a meeting with me and didn't show up. I called repeatedly till I got him on the phone, and he scheduled another meeting with me. He didn't show up. When I called him out on it he got an attitude.
I emailed Christopher and told him I wanted a refund. Shortly after, I got a call from Rabinesh, who was suddenly interested in communicating with me once he faced the prospect of losing money. I missed the call and then Rabinesh emails me. Funny how easy it is to get ahold of him when he's losing me as a customer. I stated again that I wanted my money back. He replied but did not acknowledge my refund request.
Shortly after that I got a very rude and angry email for Angelo saying "I hope you're cooled off now Sir!", and "I'm all ears to your call, but you blew off and wanted a refund." I responded that it was too late, and I wanted my money back. Since then I haven't heard anything from the company.
I'm now disputing the charge with my bank.
Woodbows misrepresents the service it provides
Woodbows misrepresents the quality of service that it claims to provide clients on its website. My Woodbows contact was not responsive when I tried to initiate contact with him and the person who was supposed to be my new virtual assistant. In addition, the phone numbers on their site do not work and don't lead to any company voicemail system or live person. The team members featured on their site - some of them have LinkedIn profiles that are very thin in terms of experience and some of the profile links don't work at all. This company does not operate with integrity and they will take your money and provide very poor service if any service at all. They have a very slick website that says all the right things to gain customer trust, plus what appears to be a lot of positive reviews. Don't be fooled. Pay attention to the negative ones which consistently bring up the same issues I have shared above. DO NOT SIGN UP WITH WOODBOWS.

One of the best virtual assistants I have ever tried. I tried so many other big companies, but nothing worked out for me. However, I chose WoodBows through a reference from my business partner. My virtual assistant Cedric started taking care of my entire business from the day one and he is so dedicated that he even gave tips on how to improve our sales. Such a great team to work with.

I had high hopes after reading reviews and wish I never got started with them.
The VA we were assigned was incapable of doing the basic task we asked, which was only calendar management. After being unhappy I asked to stop the service. I then was asking for a refund of unused hours, then they just started ignoring all my emails.
I was then charged again even though everything was cancelled and currently having to dispute the charge with my credit card company, since nobody from WoodBows will get back to me.
I suggest you stay away from WoodBows.
Can't trust them
Just like everyone else, from their website and some reviews online it looked like they had a lot of promise. Then I got matched with a VA that could barely speak english and had terrible service so we could barely hear each other. Right then I figured it would be best to fire fast and move on, maybe come back down the road since they had great reviews and a good promise. Unfortunately that will not be happening since I cancelled my service in early July, and I am still waiting on my refund (which they said would be done in 3 days). That never happened and then I was charged again for August. Save yourself the time and money, I don't doubt these guys are effective for some, but if you run into an issue. They will NOT be there to help you through it. Check out workphroce VA's with Kara Rivera, if you want someone that does what they say they will do. WHEN they say they will do it.
They will steal your money
They will steal your money, and not return your emails. I emailed Rab... to let him know I want my subscription cancelled and my money refunded after bad communication on their part. They used up all my hours when I strictly asked them to limit their hours. Rab... responded that they would have the subscription suspended and that they want to work on the communication, and did not acknowledge that I want to discontinue business. I've let them know that I'm not interested. Since then, they've continued to charge my CC 4 times, and I've not heard back other than they want to understand my tasks... They simply will not acknowledge that I'm no longer interested in their business. Save yourself the pain and don't do business with them. I don't have the confidence that I will get my money back. WoodBows feels like a scam.
I regret giving Woodbows a try
I regret giving Woodbows a try. I paid for three weeks of work 10 hours/week. 2 weeks later and only 13 hours of inaccurate & poorly-detailed work completed, I decided to end my contract. It did not appear that there was actually 10 hours worth of work per week available to me, and I could not move to new tasks due to having to re-try tasks or delayed timelines. I spoke to the administrative team about this, and they promised to refund me for my last week – letting me know it was being processed and would be stated in 5 business days. This was over 2 months ago. After multiple follow up emails and phone calls (they even tried to convince me at one point to try with them again), I still have not received my refund. Now, they have stopped responding. The whole thing feels like a scam – I am very disappointed.
WoodBows took my money and vanished
After seeing 'Recognized by Clutch' listed on their website, and after reading numerous positive online reviews about their company, I contacted WoodBows to enquire about their virtual services.
After an initial 'consultation call', I decided to move forward and transferred them $699 for a virtual assistant to start working immediately for my business.
Their website looks legitimate and promises that a VA will be in touch within 24 hours to begin working with you, once you have paid. (I believe this same team/company is also operating under the name of Triniter, as the Triniter website lists the same team members and is operating from the same address.)
Once I'd paid them, they promised a call with my 'account manager' for a particular day, but they didn't call. They then said it would happen the following day, but it failed to happen again. That's when I grew suspicious and requested a full refund, which they eventually agreed to pay.
This happened at the end of March 2021, and I'm doing all I can to retrieve the money, but unfortunately, they haven't responded to me since early April, despite numerous follow-ups to ask for an update, and I fear I have been scammed.
This is actually the first Trustpilot review I have ever left, and I was compelled to do so to help others avoid this same situation with WoodBows/Sprout-Flowers, and/or Triniter.
Poor Experience
Poor customer service with the lack of response - didn't manage to hear from them in a month despite constant emails and messages to several people in the team - promised to save time but it's doing quite the complete opposite now - for those trying them out, proceed with caution
Unpleasant experience
WOODBOWS misrepresented itself and it's Virtual Assistant services. First of all, no one contacted me for a long time after I made payment (which they kept insisting I do without any formal sign up form), They claimed they would contact me within 24 hours of payment, but they took more than a week. It was the founders themselves who called me to do the "selling". I asked multiple times for a Philippines-based VA, but was assigned an India-based one. They also claimed to have a lot of experience in the area (each VA is supposed to have more than 10 years experience), but the most basic things such as arranging a time to have an initial chat were very poorly handled, met with all sorts of excuses (we had a power outage in our area), and after I have them a 2nd chance, they called on the wrong day. The VA i was assigned to said she only has 7 months experience as a VA and only does work for 1 other company. Oh, and everyone I spoke to was based in India (no issues with India, but I would say they try to give the impression they are US based).
As such I told them that I do not want to start the service at all and I want my money back. They initially promised that refunds would be fine if I don't start the service, but since I have sent the email asking for a refund, I have been met with radio silence.
EDIT: Since Woodbows have been pressuring me to remove or edit my reviews, I shall. After my complaints directly to them via email, I was met with radio silence, as mentioned above. The moment I posted reviews, I got lots of response with unpleasant amounts of pressure to remove my reviews, including comments like how I am "harming our business and 40 families of our employees." [direct quote from their email]. They also disputed with Trustpilot that I'm not a genuine customer of theirs so that my review will be taken down. They seem to think that once a refund has been done, any negative experiences from clients should be erased. But at least they did do the refund once they saw that I put up a review.
Unfortunately, their consultant Mario told me on our call on 2 Feb 2021 that I would only be charged the additional weekly fees upon completion of the 1st 3 weeks that I had already paid for (USD299.99). We spoke about this since I was concerned that it had been a long time since I made payment and nothing had been done, I had not even been assigned a VA yet at this point (a week after they had collected my 1st payment). Anyway, I subsequently told them I want to cancel my subscription. Since I never even commenced my 1st 3 weeks, I was surprised that the 2nd instalment was deducted from my account yesterday (16/02/2021). This was done by paypal I guess. I wrote to them to ask for a refund, and their response was that they will not refund me unless I remove or change my review. So now I have had to go directly to paypal.
The biggest shock is that never once in this entire situation, after countless back and forth emails, have they taken any responsibility of their lateness, all the times they made errors, not delivering on what they said they would.

Timely help from you guys
They helped our business at the right time when we were about to go under. We had a few in house employees. They were not able to continue thanks to the recent disaster. We looked around the freelancing sites. It didn't work out for us. We came to know about them through a friend of mine. It has been five months. We never looked back. TERRIBLE
I gave Woodbows over two weeks to be honest and follow their "moneyback guarantee" but they have instead elected to ignore my emails. They took over two weeks to get started (despite promising 24h) and then the work that they delivered (a simple powerpoint!) was the worst quality I've ever seen. They say the work took 10h, but another VA from another company did a job 10x better in 3 hours. I couldn't use anything their terrible excuse for a VA worked on. (I wish I could show you how terrible it was!) They won't give me my refund so don't believe their moneyback guarantee. TERRIBLE customer service and INCOMPETENT VAs is all your money will "buy" you. Stay away.
[Edited to add: They also do some sleezy practices to try and remove honest reviews. They challenge them with the website even when they know full-well you were a customer, which gets your review deleted if you don't prove you were a customer within 3 days. Most people won't bother and that's the only reason you don't see a full page of bad reviews here.]

They came at the right time. My friend referred WoodBows to me. I hired them last May and they have been both professional and reliable. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a reliable Virtual assistant service.

Woodbows has over and above exceeded my expectations!
Overall, I am very impressed by Woodbows. I was hesitant on using an offshore service but I was in great need of help to do some day to day automation tasks for by legal business. I emailed Woodbows, and I received a response right away to set up an appointment to discuss my needs. That same day of signing up, I was connected with a wonderful gal who was very good with navigating the computer and was able to follow my detailed instructions through training. Due to a unforeseen and personal health circumstances with the virtual assistant, I had to be reassigned to a new virtual assistant, Victor. My assigned Woodbows representative wasted to time at all to make sure there wasn't a gap in my services and that my business tasks were taken care of. Victor, my new Virtual Assistant is amazing!! I can tell he actually cares about the job, wants to learn, pays close attention to detail, and even catches me on my mistakes and will ask me before proceeding to any task if the information is correct if he sees it may be out of the ordinary. I've been so thoroughly impressed that I have asked to place him on as part time, and hopefully have him full time very soon.
Overall, I would say that Woodbows is the way to go when wanting to be linked up with a qualified virtual assistant. They have over and above exceeded my expectations. Thank you Woodbows, for creating a great solution for small businesses like mine!!
