Amazing customer service! Website user friendly and very easy to order. Speedy delivery as promised with all tracking details emailed to me.

Refunds are extremely slow
Received the ordered and returned one roll - according to their emails the refund won't be back with me until 1 month after they received it. Unacceptable

We can see from our records that your return was submitted on 15/2, approved on 16/2, and your refund was received on 18/2 - 3 days after your request was made.
Our automated confirmation emails mention up to 10 days, as refund timing can vary depending on the customer’s bank, which may take up to 10 working days to process the funds.

Ordered on the 14th december still no order it hasnt been sent out and neither a reply from anyone from customer service. All emails ignored. Awful. Its been over a month

We're really sorry to hear that your sample order didn’t arrive. Unfortunately, once samples leave us, we’re reliant on Royal Mail for delivery.
From our records, I can see that you contacted us on 16th January to let us know the parcel hadn’t been delivered, and we processed a refund for your order shortly after.

Paper fine but customer service is terrible. Returned some unused rolls and still haven’t been refunded 4 weeks after they were received and checked. Email replies are by AI and totally unhelpful.

Based on their advice I ordered a roll…
Based on their advice I ordered a roll more than needed but was assured I could just return the extra roll as long as it was unopened. So I went ahead with the order and of course ended up with more than I needed so I trird to return it but was declined as I had passed the 30 day return period. I had no idea there was a 30 day return period as they failed to inform me of that. I bought the paper knowing the job was not starting for 6 weeks so if they had mentioned it I would not have taken their advice. I’m out of pocket and fill ripped off by them. Of course I’ve emailed them to explain and they are ghosting me. So unprofessional.

We usually recommend ordering a little extra, just in case - especially if you have a decorator on site, as it helps avoid any delays if you run short and need more rolls delivered.
Because of this, we do offer a 30-day return policy, which you can find on our website at the bottom of the page under FAQs, then “Returns & Cancellations”.

See through wallpaper
The wallpaper design itself is lovely. A gorgeous yellow wide stripe which I thought would be perfect. The problem is the wallpaper is see through. Every minor mark on the wall shines through like a beacons. At £95 a roll I expected a better quality and certainly not to have to reconsider redecorating after spending £400. It has put me off ever using them again.

As with all wallpapers from manufacturers, designs with a white background can sometimes allow a darker or contrasting wall colour underneath to show through.
Our wallpapers are made from high-quality paper sourced from sustainable, well-managed forests, and we take pride in their quality and ease of hanging.
We always recommend ensuring your walls are a light, even colour before hanging, particularly with lighter designs. If the wall isn’t an even base colour, there is a chance this may affect the final appearance and result in slight shade differences showing through.
As noted on our website under FAQs and “How to hang wallpaper,” as well as on the printed guide included with your order, our wallpapers are not 100% opaque, so we’re unable to accept responsibility for any show-through or variation caused by the wall colour beneath.

Beware..they change your order
Ordered 4 rolls of wallpaper which i thought were bargain buys, 2 days later my order is changed to 2 samples after they realise a pricing mistake was made on their site and no contact made to advise me of this.
Lady on the other end of phone was sharp, rude, and lippy getting increasingly adgitated...I reminded her of my consumer rights and that I had paid in full at time of purchase, and have the invoices to proove it,but all she said is that I shouldn't cash in on an obvious price mistake on their site.( after saying that their wasnt a price mistake).... let's be honest.... who wouldnt?!
I PAID FOR 4 ROLLS. YOU CHANGED MY INVOICE TO 2 SAMPLES....AND THEN HAVE THE NERVE TO TELL ME THATS WHAT I ORDERED WHEN MY INVOICE CLEARLY SAYS 4 ROLLS!
I don't care if it's £120 a roll paper, it was advertised at £1 a roll.......
I expect my order to be fulfilled
I haven't been treated this badly in a long time.... I'm disgusted

In this instance, there was a glitch which caused full wallpaper rolls to be incorrectly listed for £1 via our Meta ads.
As soon as we became aware of the issue, we updated our system accordingly, which triggered an automated email to notify you of the change.
As a small family business whose team relies on our sales, we’re unfortunately unable to supply full-price rolls for £1 — we hope you can understand. This was a technical error outside of our control, and while we completely understand it was disappointing, we were unable to proceed with the order and did everything we could to put things right.
We do hope you’ll shop with us again in the future, and that next time everything runs smoothly for us both 🙂
I wouldn't purchase again
I purchased 6 rolls of pretty pink wisteria wallpaper. I read the hanging instructions and agree with other reviews for £85 a roll it is sheer madness the wallpaper is see through. I read these reviews before hanging and got nervous so sent them an email. I did receive a prompt call back. I was informed the walls should be cross lined with lining paper. I didn't do this. I painted the walls and then sealed it. It worked out well. The paper was hung easily. I did purchase the paste the wall pink paste that was recommended. I feel they could be more transparent and it should clearly state the cost the paste they recommend and in the description of the wallpaper it should tell you I'm layman's terms that it is see through. I was told by them they wouldn't use plumb lines to hang paper. They should state this in the description of the wallpaper. It is highly unusual not to use plumb lines. All in all, there is a lot of hype around this company in magazines and Instagram, the prints are beautiful but it's not value for money considering the paper is see through. I left an honest fair review on their web page which has never been posted so they are misleading consumers buy only posting 5 star reviews. I did return one roll as I had too many. The process was very slow. I emailed them and sent the roll promptly back. My refund was only processed after I chased it. My wallpaper does look great, however it was stressful wondering if painting the walls would do the trick and hide the marks. I was informed by customer service that they wouldn't recommend hanging the paper on freshly painted walls or freshly plastered walls. Their lack of transparency and not posting honest reviews on their website forces me to steer clear and not purchase from them again. I would avoid. They are hyped up and featured on tele shows for their designs etc but the quality isn't great nor is the selective reviews they post. Please note my date of purchase isn't accurate. It was sometimes before Christmas 2023.

Regarding our paste recommendation, this is based on our own experience and what we’ve found works best. There may be other “Paste the Wall” products available, but as we haven’t used them ourselves, we’re unable to recommend specific alternatives. As long as a suitable “Paste the Wall” adhesive is used, that is absolutely fine - and if you ever have any questions, we’re always happy to help.
As wallpaper manufacturers, we supply the wallpaper itself and it can be hung in whichever way your decorator prefers. Our guidance is simply based on our own expertise and what we hope can be helpful.
Full hanging instructions can be found at the bottom of our website under “Hanging Instructions,” as well as in the printed guide included with every order. And of course, if you do have any questions, we’re always here to help by phone or email.
Regarding your refund, as this was some time ago we’re unable to locate the order on our system. However, our standard refund processing time is up to 10 working days, depending on the customer’s own bank, which may take up to 10 working days to complete the process.

Extremely poor quality.
Very poor. The mural pattern did not allign. I was offered to purchase another 2 panels (which the wallpaper was expensive enough to begin with). With an addiontal £8 shipping. For one or two panels? Sadly, I am left having to pay for the new panels and the shipping as the mural does not look uniform and a lot of money was spent on this. The image is beautiful but the quality is poor and even see-through on lighter parts. Be ware as this is not worth the price. There are cheaper and better alternatives out there and it isn't worth the money in my opinion. Customer services is also very poor, I would seek alternative wallpaper to save to save you the hassle of being disappointed as if there is an issue it seems to be a 'you problem' not their problem.

All of our murals are bespoke and made to order, so it’s really important that wall measurements and hanging instructions are followed carefully, as even small installation variations can affect pattern alignment.
When issues are raised, we’re always happy to look into them and offer support where possible, as was the case here. Customer satisfaction is a top priority for us, and we always aim to reach a positive and fair resolution.
As a small family business, we do unfortunately need to charge for shipping, as these costs are set by our courier partners and we contribute towards them where possible. We’re simply unable to absorb delivery costs in full, but we do keep them as fair as we can.
We pride ourselves on the quality of our murals and wallpapers, which are designed and made in-house in the UK, backed by over 160 years of combined surface pattern design experience. Our pricing reflects this level of craftsmanship, expertise, and the premium materials used in every order.

See through wallpaper and terrible customer service!
We chose the pink Wisteria paper for our downstairs loo. I loved the design and couldn’t wait for the decorator to arrive. All went well until the end. We noticed that you could see his pencil marks through the paper! These are the plumb line markings etc that all decorators make to ensure the paper is straight. I emailed customer services and was advised in no uncertain terms that it was our fault as on the hanging instructions (on the website) it states ‘not all our papers are opaque’. Our decorator said he had never come across any paper like this in his 30 years experience that showed the pencil marks through. I complained again and this time got a fairly rude email saying they’d already told me it was my fault!! £85 a roll for see through wallpaper and appalling customer service. I mistakenly thought that ordering from a smaller more local company would be a good thing. I was very wrong. Be warned.

Our wallpapers are designed and produced in-house in the UK using high-quality materials sourced from sustainable, well-managed forests, and we are proud of both their finish and ease of hanging.
As with all wallpaper manufacturers, lighter designs and those with white or pale backgrounds are not fully opaque, and in some lighting conditions or on certain wall preparations, underlying markings or wall tones can show through. This is highlighted on our website under 'Hanging Instructions' as well as in the printed instructions included with every order and our advice outlines that walls should be a light, even colour before hanging, particularly if using a lighter colour design.

Cannot fault
Cannot fault. The quality of the wallpaper was great, our decorator said it was easy to hang and we have had nothing but compliments from whoever has seen our brick effect feature wall. Delivery was swift and the returns and refund process has been prompt for an additional roll that we didnt need. Will use this company again.

Great Wallpaper, Terrible Delivery
I have used 5 different W&M wallpapers in two houses now and the products are beautiful. The colours are bold and the finish is stunning. It’s good quality and professional decorators like working with it. I would give the paper 5 stars.
However, that’s all fine when you finally receive the product. Unfortunately the company insists on using UPS who are hideously unreliable. It took 4 attempts to get one consignment delivered last year. I ordered more paper on Sunday 12th Feb 2023 which was dispatched on Tuesday 14th (the company’s turnaround time is quick). UPS emailed to say delivery would be between 10.45 and 14.45 yesterday, 15th Feb, and I stayed in all day. Yet again they failed to turn up. Yet again they did not contact me. I now have a UPS account because of buying from Woodchip & Magnolia. Apparently delivery will be made today but I can’t stay in today and the company require a signature so here we go again. This happened with every single order made in 2022. I have asked Woodchip & Magnolia why they don’t use DPD or indeed any other courier. They will not change delivery company. They appear not to care.
If you are busy and expect deliveries to be made on time this is not the company for you. Such a shame but I am being messed around again. Sadly I would therefore advise to avoid and buy elsewhere.

Regarding the delivery issues, we can only apologise on behalf of UPS. We always do our best to ensure a smooth and timely delivery, but unfortunately some aspects of the courier process are outside of our control.
That said, when issues do arise, we work closely with UPS to get them resolved as quickly as possible for our customers.
We’ve carried out a lot of research and have chosen to continue working with UPS for several reasons (we won’t bore you with all the details!), as although we’ve tried other providers in the past, we’ve experienced similar issues. At present, we feel UPS is the most reliable option available for our customers - we do hope you understand and look forward to welcoming you back to shop with us soon!
Absolutely disgusting customer service
Absolutely disgusting customer service. I received a well mural I purchased for a customer £400 was the cost.
The mural had printing shadows on it, I sent b4 and after pictures to prove this.
I was shouted at, that I had used the wrong paste.
I've 25 unblemished years as a painter and decorator.
This is utter hogwash,
She was rude, wouldn't let me speak. Kept blabbing on about other companies she's worked for years.
She then patronisingly sent me a tutorial on how to paste the paper.. no help was offered to me whatsoever.
I'm now being ghosted.

We received your email after the mural had already been hung. As outlined in our terms and conditions and the hanging instructions provided with every mural, we always advise that all items are thoroughly checked for damage and that the design and colourway are correct before installation begins. Unfortunately, once wallpaper has been hung we’re unable to accept claims, as issues can occur during the hanging process itself. For this reason, any concerns should be raised with us immediately and installation paused so we can help resolve them.
As previously advised in our correspondence, any potential defects should be reported prior to hanging. We also reviewed the digital files for your bespoke mural and there were no marks present in the artwork in the areas highlighted in your images, indicating these would not have been part of the printed design.
All of our products are made to order in-house, giving us full control over production, and each item is carefully quality checked by eye before dispatch to ensure it leaves us in perfect condition.
We also noted from the information you provided that the paste used was not the recommended “Paste the Wall” adhesive for this product, which is what our wallpapers are designed for.
As a gesture of goodwill, we offered a 25% discount on a replacement mural and also provided guidance on carefully stripping and reapplying the wallpaper to ensure an even surface as an alternative. We also attempted to contact you by phone to help resolve the matter, but were unable to reach you.

I’m so disappointed with the customer service. I ordered a roll of vintage wallpaper which was £85 per roll. We liked the contrasting colours and thought it was worth the money. When it came to
The delivery option, I thought as we are spending quite a bit of money, it would be free however I was charged £8. This was the only option. We paid the delivery fee as we saw UPS were to deliver the item with 1-3 working day. We waiting and nothing arrived. We contacted Woodchip and Magnolia and a lady called Jane advise she will contact the manager at UPS and come back to me. I never heard nothing back and have no idea when the package will arrive. This experience has put me off using this company again. I would not use them again. Stay away…
