Anaconda store Cairns Queensland I bought a 9 kilo gas bottle 3 months ago builder it up 1 months later I decided to go back to fill it up it is 20 km from where I live it range for about 10 minutes and got windy really strong I walked in the store I think can you please fill up my gas bottle they looked at me they said we have a policy if it rains or windy we cannot fill it up gas bottles are outside under shelter I could not believe what I heard with my own ears I was very upset I sent you are kidding I said I drove a long way they said nothing I looked at the staff member and I said I will put a nasty complaint on social network after this typing that's what I will be doing so I drove away soon as I drive away it stop raining I went to BCF 5 minutes away I said can you put up my gas bottle it started to ring again the gas storage is outside in the wind with a outside tent they said no worries so they filled it up how's the gas man was feeling up I told him my story he said I hear this all the time he said many customers ring them up and and their story is sorry we don't have any gas at the moment and that's full of lies he heard my story so many times and he said many customers go from there to us and then I looked on social network to see how many complaints with the Anaconda store you guys are absolutely pathetic full of lies did don't treat people like this because bad things will happen and I will make my story be heard you need to apologise badly and you need to change your policy and if you wish to be local and look after the locals do the rubbish right thing and stop with your bulshit and stop with your lives because the complaints are out there and mine is going to be a very nasty one do I make myself rubbish clear make me waste my time on my petrol and I'll put your store on every social network have a wake up call

I ordered the wrong size boots. The customer care team were helpful and informative. When I returned the items by post I was promptly refunded. The service was excellent. My only gripe is to please include a size guide on the website; I didn't know the boots were U.S. sizes!

I received a Birthday voucher from Anaconda which would not work in store and the staff tried everything they could I sent their customer contact an email they told me the voucher could only be used online I explained to them the voucher stated “use in store OR online” I kept asking how I could present the voucher online as that was their response each time I sent them a reply email I sent them a photo of the voucher clearly showing it could be used in store they then told me “the voucher didn’t work because I had unsubscribed from their website site which i told them was absolute rubbish as I am still getting emails/brochures from them, they are treating their customer like total fools the voucher has now expired and they have not come up with a valid resolution / explanation.

I bought multiple items from the Anaconda online store. Anaconda then sent me emails to review each product. I hadn’t gotten around to review every item, but had left a handful of positive reviews, and one negative review for a 2 x ‘Adult Sized Mudgee extra tall’ sleeping bags I bought for my kids. My teenage son (5ft5inches) is nearly too big already for this adults extra tall sleeping bag.
Anaconda published all of my positive reviews but refused to publish the negative one, stating it went against their guidelines. Shame on you Anaconda. Reviews, just like the news, are only useful to people if they are informed and honest, and NOT manipulated propaganda.
Please take ALL of my positive reviews down off your site now, because I refuse to play a part in a one sided story.

Sadly after 10 days and counting my online order has yet to be processed. I have been told "it's a busy time due to a huge amount of orders", which is likely rubbish. I have figured that anaconda just doesn't have it in stock at the warehouse and they're waiting for the next order from wherever the products are made. Why can't they just be honest and state online that the products are out of stock instead of misleading customers. Yes, they'd lose business in the short run however customers would return in the future. However, this way one annoyed customer will now leave bad feedback and vow to never shop there again. Not that the children running the place would care.

Don't know how I had addresses ,I didn't even know how to get to Budgewoi .Had to get a police man to pick it up for myself .

Went to Burleigh Heads store - no staff, and those that were there did not want to talk us - had to look around for somebody and when we did get to talk to a young man he was not helpful at all. He said he did not know anything about the product and basically left us. Check out was also an uninspiring experience - no hello, no 'how may I help you' and 'no smile'. I thought that perhaps something had gone awry in the store and the staff were expressing their unhappiness. Lots of great products in the store but staff really letting the company down.

I had a product that was faulty, their online service team was very supportive and the young woman who dealt with me at the Fyshwick store showed empathy and understanding and made the the transaction a pleasant one. My money was refunded with a smile. She had a positive attitude and I would gladly deal with her again.
I hope Anaconda value their young staff?

Clearly their online customer service is controlled by bots. Failed to apply a discount, basically said they don't care, I suggested they refund the difference or I could just return and re-purchase, and they offer to give me a postal label. (The return shipping would be more than the discount)
Never experienced such impersonal service in a long time.

I ordered a gazebo online. A few hours after paying online I received an email to say they were out of stock and they would refund my money
So I ordered the same product at another store only to receive an email the following day to say that the product was no longer available and I would be given a refund.
I was extremely annoyed to discover that the following day this product was back to full price and was again available online.
I think that they did have this product in stock but didn’t want to sell it at the reduced price.
It took four days for my money to be returned back into my bank account which is not acceptable especially when you buy a product that is supposedly available but actually isn’t

Ordered an O’Neil hammer snow jacket with removable hood. The jacket arrived but there was no hood with the jacket. Contacted customer service. Yet to hear if a hood is being sent with 2 weeks before going on holiday

My online shopping experience with Anaconda Stores has been really disappointing.

I purchased two beach carts 30 days ago on 23rd November ago for Christmas. The delivery time was estimated as 3-7 days.

One item arrived by the expected delivery date, but for nearly 3 weeks the other item just keeps showing as 'delayed'.

Australia Post told me to contact Anaconda so they could investigate. I spoke to someone on 12th Dec who said they would lodge an enquiry with Australia Post and email me with an update. They never did.

Contacted Anaconda again on 13th & 15th Dec via email. No response.

I contacted Australia Post again. At first they said the item may not arrive until Jan 2023, but later confirmed they couldn't find it.

I know Anaconda can't control the mail, but there has been a total lack of care or communication for over a week.

I messaged and called them again two days ago and they still haven't provided me a remedy; Just copied and pasted responses that "someone from our team be in contact with you".

I've lodged a complaint with the ACCC and NSW Fair Trading.

Will never buy through their online team again!! Placed an order with 26 items and received only received 9 of them. Spoke to TNT who had the consignment to deliver and they were only consigned with the 9 large items. Have waited 3 weeks for the online team to investigate only to be told that they have closed the case as they believe that all items were delivered. They refuse to provide proof of delivery or proof of packing and also advised that they will not be providing a refund for the missing items as they don't believe it is their fault. Nice easy money for these dirty scammers. I am disgusted in their lack of concern and their poor level of customer service.

have been trying to phone and speak to someone about an item to see if they have it in the store as in the past their web site says in stock only to make a long trip to purchase only to be told they don't have it in stock.
after 6 hrs of trying to contact them i have given up and will order the item from a different merchant as I'm finished with anaconda and their lazy staff.

They cancelled my order after I found the item in a promoted ad.
I can't comment on the jacket but the service was terrible. At the precise moment they were cancelling my order due to no stock, I could still place one for the exact same item.

Then I tried to leave a review and they didn't publish it because it didn't go their way.

I won't be using Anaconda again. Bad experience.

I bought a item and it’s not as advertised, so tried to return but wouldn’t take back. Than gave a review on the product on Anaconda website, but the review was not approved. You don’t approve only if you like the review. It’s a very dishonest store and no surprise that they have so many negative reviews on other platforms, but not on theirs. That’s not how you keep a good review on a bad product and bad service. How many reviews have they canceled to keep up a false „positive“ review

Wanted to buy a shimano sustain for $475. Waited an hr for service. 1 guy in the fishing section too busy talking about his fishing spots with a customer. Absolutely pathetic service. Walked out and went to BCF up the road and closed the deal with great discount.

Went to bfc and hooked on tackle to look for some lures squid jigs

After going to Anacondoa in hoppers crossing I was very pleased with the product I had purchased really did the job try them the same day and really happy with them
I’ll like to thank Sam really glad there was someone there with the experience and knowledge would definitely be back if I need anything the future

Like the many complaints here about the click-and-collect function on the site being a nightmare, so is mine. The site automatically makes it a home delivery and charges you for it. When you call the helpline they say it is my fault and nothing can be done as it has shipped. Pick your game up Anaconda this is a terrible way to do business and borders on dishonesty. I am truly sorry I spent my money here now.
