The concept is simple, picture a ski resort, remove the snow and replace the pistes with an array of sweeping flowy bike trails meandering to the bottom of the mountain and you are close. Add a bunch of adrenalin and big sprinkle of fun and you are pretty much there. BikePark Wales is an exhilarating way to spend your day in the Welsh mountains.

The staff are lovely and the runs are great
The staff are lovely and the runs are from beginner to experts. There is a good mix of tec and flow. There is a run for everyone. I did get a puncture and the workshop on site threw in a new tube for me in less than 10 minutes so I was straight back out. Thank You.

So I visited here when the bike park…
So I visited here when the bike park was fairly new, rode for maybe a year or 2 it was fun!. Fast forward 12 years of not riding a recent new bike and went with my 11 year old on a big and little ones offer! My son is hooked on it and been asking to go for ages. I always made an excuse as thought it would be to expensive for the 2 of us . The offer was a fantastic price to start with !!so thank you 🙏 wow it’s changed over the years it’s massive, the check in staff were friendly, loads of new buildings about really looks quite modern. Uplift staff were great friendly showed us how to get the bikes on securely and cracking jokes with us . They showed no signs of impatience even though they are probably tasked daily with newcomers asking the same questions. We managed 4/5 runs and I was cooked by the end ! The car parks were super full yet there was 0 waiting for uplift and never saw anyone on the trails, testimony to the efficiency of the uplift crew, trail builders and staff and how vast it was. It was an amazing day . My only downside was my son left his spine protector there on a table just before we headed back , saved up all his money for it , Unfortunately it wasn’t handed in . Our fault maybe it will show in a few days
Food was great also I like the fact it’s announced over a mic 🎤 so you can sit outside and enjoy the sun whilst waiting. It really is a fantastic place

Loved it - BPW was brilliant fun for me and my 3 boys. One suggestion is to try and make the trails finish at the same point or close to. Bring the uplift entrance further down the hill as the walk up really takes it out of you. The best trail for me was Terry's Belly but the finish is too far down - I had to walk my bike and my son's bike to the top to get to the visitor centre. Can you have an option for it to finish closer to the visitor centre or Uplifts. At what point does the cost of running busses make it cheaper to install a cable lift to the top? All constructive feedback I hope. Staff are lovely to top it off.

Terry's Belly is a classic favourite, although we can certainly appreciate your point about the extra pedal back towards the visitor centre afterwards.
The beauty of having such a large trail network is that we can offer lots of different trail experiences and destinations across the mountain, although it does occasionally mean a little extra effort between runs.

I was here with my son and we managed to hit blue trails, red, red+, and then black and black+.
We made massive progress and we liked these trails so much.
All trails, jumps, drops, gaps, and berms are made by pros, and we were very confident even on jumps like 30/40ft.
As well, the food was so delicious and the staff extremely professional.
We will definitely be back again and highly recommend this to all MTB fans.

Unfortunately bpw now feels like an over busy, commercial, money making machine.. had to queue for an uplift longer than ever before, kids on bikes without full face helmets& knee pads how is that allowed... Plus my 15quid chicken burger was s^&t... Such a shame

We're sorry to hear this visit didn't feel as positive as your previous experiences.
As the park continues to grow in popularity there are certainly days where demand is higher than others, and we appreciate that longer uplift queues can impact the overall experience. We also operate a large fleet of uplift vehicles in a particularly demanding environment, and from time to time mechanical issues do occur. When they do, buses may need to come off the hill for repairs or to be swapped out for another vehicle, which can temporarily affect uplift capacity while we maintain a safe and reliable service.
In terms of protective equipment, we strongly encourage riders to wear appropriate safety gear and provide guidance on recommended protection. Ultimately, however, the decision on what protection to wear rests with the rider or parent/guardian. Whilst some riders choose minimal protection, we'd always recommend more rather than less. Mountain biking is an inherently risky sport and, as most riders know, crashes can happen and they can hurt. Full-face helmets, knee pads and other protective equipment can make a significant difference when things don't go to plan.
We're also sorry to hear the chicken burger didn't hit the mark for you. We'll pass that feedback on to the catering team.
Whilst we're disappointed to hear this experience wasn't what you've come to expect from BPW, we do appreciate the honest feedback and hope we'll have the opportunity to welcome you back again soon.

A bit of the original spirit of mountain biking lives here
I've been riding MTBs for ~38 years and this place really brought back some of that original MTB spirit. Trails were many, varied and all in great condition, especially impressive given the last 2 months hot and dry conditions. I expected a bit of a blown out sand fest, but the trails were in great condition.
I think the BOB trail could do with a bit more info as moderate only really covers the steepness, not some of the more techy parts, but even so climbing to the top was 'fun'.

Top rated site and trials. I came with my stepson who is much lighter, technical and hard wearing than me, but he was more than happy with the blues that my abilities restricted us too.
Our day was cut short due to the wildfires that affected the uplift, and I have to admit that I was a tiny bit put out that these weren’t mentioned to us ahead of the visit, but this was considered in a follow up email from BPW to all who were affected, and I’m definitely not even slightly miffed anymore.
We will be back, many times…

We're sorry that the bike issue took longer to resolve than you would have liked. Whilst swapping a bike can sometimes be the quickest solution, it isn't always possible depending on fleet availability, sizing requirements and the nature of the fault. In many cases, a repair can actually get a rider back on the hill faster than preparing and setting up a replacement bike.
That said, we completely understand that any time spent waiting on a mechanical issue is frustrating when you've come to maximise your riding time.

£18 'Refund Fee'
Booked the uplift service for £60, only for the park to subsequently close due to a fire precaution that was completely outside of my control.
I’ve now requested a refund, only to discover that I’m being charged an £18 “refund fee”. So despite the service being cancelled because the park is closed for safety reasons, I’m expected to lose £18 for requesting my money back.
Absolutely ridiculous. I understand that cancellations may sometimes incur fees, but charging an £18 refund fee when the closure is due to a safety issue at the park is completely unreasonable. Very disappointing.

We're sorry to hear you're disappointed.
However, we'd like to clarify that the refund fee you've been charged was not related to a closure of the park or any decision made by BikePark Wales regarding your booking date.
At the time you requested your refund, your booking was for a future date and no decision had been made to close the park on that day. As a result, your request was processed as a standard customer cancellation and the normal booking Terms & Conditions applied, including the applicable refund fee.
For clarity, if we ever have to close the park due to circumstances such as extreme weather, wildfire risk or other safety concerns, we contact all affected customers directly. In those situations, customers are offered options which typically include a full refund or a voucher for a future visit, as the closure is initiated by us rather than the customer.
Safety will always be our priority, and we would never open the park if we believed conditions presented an unacceptable risk to riders, staff or the surrounding environment.
In this instance, the decision to cancel was made before any decision regarding your booking date had been taken. Unfortunately, by requesting a refund in advance, the booking fell under our standard cancellation policy rather than any closure policy which may or may not have become relevant at a later date.
We're sorry you're unhappy with the outcome, but we hope this helps explain why the refund was processed as it was.

It was amazing while it lasted
It was amazing while it lasted. Had about 4 runs and they were amazing until unfortunately the whole park had to close due to wild fires. I hope they manage to get the fires under control and the establishment is ok. I’m sure I just came on an unlucky day as wildfires are spreading across wales. I will be back soon to explore more of what they have to offer 🤙

BPW is my favourite place to ride
For sure BPW is my favourite place to ride. I/we go at least half a dozen times a year.
The price of the uplift is totally justifiable. The booking process, registration and actual uplift process is easy and the supporting staff are friendly and helpful.
Trails are constantly being maintained, enhanced or new trails added. The email and YouTube video updates on activity, help build excitement for the next visit.
Whether your thing is flowy and jumpy or challenging knar, the options are awesome. There is something for everyone regardless of skill level.
Whole heartedly recommend visiting, love it.
