Another awful experience with D'addario UK. Terrible customer service on most occasions. This time, they have sent an item considerably different to what was advertised (a cable 50% longer than it should have been). All emails were ignored, until a PayPal claim was raised. My claim specifically requested confirmation of postage reimbursement (initial and return). This request was ignored. Their automated return approval expects me to pay to return the item, and presumably not receive my original postage charge either. I refuse to be over £10 out of pocket on a bad £29 purchase when it is entirely D'addario UK's fault.

I had questions about the Humidipaks and Hailey answered all of my questions promptly. The paks are keeping my vintage Kay parlor guitar in prime condition. I have been using their products for many years. Strings, straps, picks etc.

Most guitars are about 36 inches from ball end to tuning the D key so D'Addario at 37 inches are usually fine. However if you have a Bigsby fitted (as I have to three of my guitars) or you have a full size electric 12 string, D'Addario strings are short - they need to be 39 inches.
Thus D'Addario only cater for most guitarists not all.

I have used D’addario Strings for approximately 25 years. I currently use the acoustic XS and electric XS Strings, as well as mandolin Strings and Evan Drumheads.
The product is exceptional. Here are some of the problems I had with their product services, though I got a set of mandolin strings and the E string broke soon as I put tension on it. I had to purchase a new set of Strings just to get a new E string that was the same. I wrote them about this two times because I received them through the players circle because I buy so many products from this company. They never responded either time.
I had a bunch of acoustic EJ strings from about 2016. I tried to get players Circle points and they told me they were too old to get anything like that because the player circle hadn’t been invented yet.
The player Circle rep Hailey wrote me back to tell me this. Well, let me make this clear to D’addario and Hailey. I don’t have to buy the Addario products and your players points cost nothing. And if you just took care of me like you should, I wouldn’t be writing this rave review about your exceptionally poor customer care. Hailey sent back the reply about not issuing points for my older Strings. At the bottom of the email it also sent me 500 points if I write a review. so I wrote a review.
So the moral of the story is; keep your loyal customers happy. You could just imagine how many sets of Strings and drum heads I go through a year I have 22 guitars and three drum sets and five basses. not to mention mandolin and a four string UBass.

Customer service responded quickly to my question about using the Humidipak on an archtop guitar. Rather than trying to sell me something, they told me that archtop guitars do not require humidifying, as their tops are built stronger than flat tops.

Products are great. If there is ever an issue, customer service will take care of you.

D'Addario provides several top quality products that I use routinely including acoustic and electric guitar strings, tuners, capos, straps, et al. Join the Player's Circle and you receive points proportional to the purchase amount. These can be used to purchase other items or donated to music education. Very cool.

Tengo a precisare che questa recensione non riguarda la qualità dei prodotti D'Addario, con cui mi sono sempre trovato molto bene. Lo shop online però non riesce a consegnare gli ordini a Milano città, è già la seconda volta consecutiva che mi capita: faccio un ordine sul sito, dopo alcuni giorni il corriere (con molta calma, rispetto ad altri e-commerce) scrive "tentativo di consegna effettuato" e consegna l'ordine in un punto di ritiro lontano chilometri da casa mia (sto in Isola, quindi non esattamente in una località remota). Questo non è possibile, perché lavoro sempre da casa e il palazzo per giunta ha la portineria, quindi semplicemente scrivono balle e consegnano la spedizione dove più gli fa comodo in base al giro di consegne. La prima volta ho segnalato la cosa al servizio clienti D'Addario, mi hanno risposto che avrebbero contattato il corriere e risolto. La seconda volta, quando è capitato nuovamente, ho scritto di nuovo al servizio clienti - il pacco è stato consegnato in un altro quartiere di Milano, ci sono arrivato in motorino - e stavolta non mi hanno neanche risposto. Eviterò in futuro di acquistare prodotti dal loro shop online, visto che non riescono a consegnare spedizioni dove tutti gli altri e-commerce consegnano quasi quotidianamente e senza alcun problema.

Firstly - D'Addario makes fantastic products to name a few: Guitar Strings, Capo's, Humidification Systems, and Guitar Straps. All their products are high quality, afforabilr, and are well designed for their intended use.

Secondly - Customer Service is Excellent

Thirdly - D'Addario offers wide range of products intended to solve ongoing challenges for serious guitarists.

I can easily recommend every product I'm purchased over (at minimum) 30 years as a guitar owner.

I ordered multiple items recently and had an error eith one set of strings. I emailed the packing list and a photo of the wrong strings. I got a same day reply the mistake is being corrected.

I use D'Addario Evans drum heads and have always had high quality, excellent drum heads that perform and hold up great. Also, their customer service has been great. Recently, I ordered a custom bass drum head with a graphic, and then I realized I may have used a low resolution graphic. Customer service promptly canceled the order for me so I could re-order the head with a higher resolution graphic. Great service!
