This is my third consecutive year with DCL. The service I received from Matthew Santos was great. He is very friendly and professionally handled my request for a renewal, provided a good quote for me even he competed the other supplier quote.

ADEL dealt me professionally, best price abd service

Avoid if you expect efficient claims handling and proper customer care.

Following my accident on 29/09/2025, my Mercedes E350e was processed through DCL insurance, with claim handling by Noble Claims and repairs carried out at A to Z Garage in Colindale.

My vehicle remained at the repair garage for approximately 6 months waiting for parts. This excessive delay alone was unacceptable.

Prior to the accident, my vehicle had successfully passed MOT and TfL licensing inspections with no rear suspension noise, no battery issues, and no suspension faults.

After collection, while cosmetic repairs had been completed, multiple new mechanical issues became immediately apparent, including battery deterioration, rear noise, suspension imbalance, and pump/shock absorber faults that did not exist before the accident or prolonged storage.

Rather than properly investigating these issues, I was repeatedly told these were normal wear-and-tear items or common Mercedes maintenance issues. This explanation is difficult to accept considering the vehicle had no such faults beforehand and these issues only appeared after months in storage and repair.

To make matters worse, I was advised to obtain confirmation from Mercedes that these problems were directly linked to the accident or repair period before further action could be considered, effectively shifting responsibility back onto the customer.

The entire process has been stressful, time-consuming, and unnecessarily difficult.

Insurance and claims management should reduce stress after an accident — not create further vehicle issues, delays, and disputes.

Based on my experience, I would strongly advise customers to carefully review their repair and claims options before proceeding.

It often feels like a sales tactic rather than genuine value.
The service itself is acceptable, but not exceptional enough to justify the premium pricing.
