Easy to speak to someone from Dortech on the telephone. Quality product (coastal letterbox). There were postal delays but these were communicated with me via Dortech. Website a little clunky but prices good and was reassured by phoing company directly.

Misleading at best
The website claims that items are in stock when they are not, presumably so you don't lose the sale to another supplier who does actually have stock. And then you have the audacity to allow customers to pay extra for faster 2-5 days delivery knowing full well that it will be 10+ days because you have to order the products in.

To clarify a few points:
The website states “stock available” because this is based on live information from our suppliers, not just our own warehouse stock. We list items as available in good faith that the supplier inventory is accurate at the time of ordering.
In some cases, we rely on supplier stock holding rather than physically holding every item ourselves, which allows us to offer a wider range of products.
The delivery estimates shown at checkout are based on typical fulfilment times and are intended to reflect normal conditions. In most cases, orders do arrive within these timeframes.
That said, we acknowledge that supply chain delays can occasionally occur, which may extend delivery beyond the estimated window. We’re sorry when this happens and understand the frustration it causes.
We appreciate you taking the time to leave your review and are sorry that your experience didn’t meet expectations on this occasion.

I waited a very long time for my order. The sealant jars were not in good condition, scratched and dented.

Advertised product at a low price but wouldn't honour it even though product was in stock and no suggestion that the price advertised was a mistake.
Dortech advertised a product I needed in stock at a low price, order was placed & paid for with courier delivery, then 4 days later (!) Dortech cancelled order with reason given 'due to severe price increases we are unable to supply'. The same product is now on sale at a significantly higher price, but they wouldn't honour the original advertised price.
No suggestion they made a mistake with the original price, so going to report to trading standards for misleading advertising.
Steer well clear of this store if you want a product delivered in a timely fashion at the advertised price, especially if the price advertised is significantly lower than the competition.

While the product is now available on our website at an updated price, this reflects the revised cost from our supplier. We appreciate this may be frustrating; however, as outlined in our Terms and Conditions, we reserve the right to cancel orders where pricing or supply issues arise.
This matter has been fully addressed, and the refund has been completed.
