Grest Customer Service

The phone was answered promptly. Two button presses to reach a real person in tech support who talked me through to the solution of my issue and job done. Customer support as should be.

Abysmal "service"

Abysmal "service", actually no service at all! I purchased enough self-balancing TRVs to do my entire house and I contacted support with a reasonable and detailed question on Oct 27th. After getting no response, I called twice and despite assurances that somebody would call me back, nobody ever did. I submitted a new request on Nov 7th and again nobody ever responded. On January 8th, I received a request to provide feedback on the "customer service" which at this point does not exist at all. I clicked the link to provide the feedback because, apparently they would "love to hear what I think of their customer service" but clearly they don't because the link took me to a page that said "This request is now closed.. Unfortunately, that means the ticket can no longer be rated."

Absolutely ignorant, dreadful service.

Drayton RF room thermostat

I bought an RF room thermostat, made by Drayton.

My intention was that it be a dedicated control for an infant's bedroom, to ensure that the room stayed at a safe, comfortable temperature during winter. I am a gas engineer. It was a complete waste of money and time!

Once installed, the stat refused to pair with the sender. After much effort, my son in law managed to do this. But would this thing simply act as a room thermostat? No, of course not! That would be too simple, wouldn't it? There are innumeranle options mentioned in the instructions, but nothing that would make it do what it is supposed to do! So we contacted Drayton's technical support department. In common with most tech support people, they failed to say anything useful, to the extent that it became worse, randomly switching the heating on and off, even for as little as 30 seconds, during which time no difference in temperature could have happened.

My next step is to uninstall it, fit a real, hardwired room stat and never buy from Drayton ever again.

Although they replied to the above, making sympathetic noises, it did nothing to improve my experience and waste of money on their useless product!

Great products and support

Used the Wiser 2 zone heating control system for a couple of years. Easy to use with a straight forward app to control your heating and hot water. I have had a couple of glitches when changing Internet supplier re connecting to the Internet but wiser have a fantastic telephone helpline. Everytime I have had to call them they've been really supportive and patient sorting the problem for me. I would definitely recommend there systems for ease of use and reliability

First class system and excellent back up.

I have the Drayton Wiser system to control my gas radiator system . Have upgraded it to include electronic TRVs on all my radiators which keeps the house warm but more importantly keeps my energy bills low.
When ever i have any issues i email or ring Drayton for support. On each occasion i have received first class service and always had my issues resolved. Always speaking to a real person and no BOTs.
I only wish all companies gave such a good service. Thanks Drayton.

Technical problems setting up

Great support team. I'm no good at technology, but the team were patient, and kind talking me through every step. I got through straight away to talk with someone.. Now all up and running. Thanks to Mike and John

Drayton TVR4 radiator valves

Drayton TVR4 radiator valves are very good and are trouble free for many years until they start to drip water, the best thing then is to change the gland seals without having to de-pressurise the central heating system saving time and expensive plumber fees. Had problems getting the gland seals initially but their customer services helped me to sort this issue. I contacted Screwfix who are looking at holding these seals in stock for customers to buy.

Wiser - so far so good.

I bought a Wiser kit 2 to replace my GEO Cosy system as GEO are withdrawing support for Cosy.
The Wiser hub was easy to install as a direct replacement for my Drayton 522 timer. I initially has difficulty getting the thermostat to talk to the hub. Wiser customer support were helpful and I got it working.
It’s taken a while to get used to the Wiser app as it is different from the Cosy app but the Wiser tutorial videos are helpful. I am pleased to be able to switch my hot water remotely. The system works fine throughout my 3 storey house . I plan to install a couple of smart TRVs in a week or two. Beware of rushing to buy lots of smart add-ons without calculating the pay back period.
Overall it is “so far so good” - I don’t yet know about reliability or battery life etc.

Excellent Service!

I had reason to check the Time on the Controller, but no Instruction Booklet.
I emailed and swiftly got a reply giving clear, concise details regarding how to reset the Clock!
Excellent service obviously by someone with a good knowledge of the Product!

Effective Customer Support

True, setting up our Digistat central heating control was somewhat complicated. But an email to Drayton’s Customer Services brought immediate support and I was guided step-by-step through the setting up process until all was successfully resolved. Excellent service!

One of the best customer service…

One of the best customer service interactions I have experienced. Telephoned for some technical help, the lady on the other end could not do enough for me, the problem was eventually rectified which I would never have achieved on my own, really first class service.

A wonderful company to deal with

This company has a uk based help team that are always available to help with any queries you might have. Today I had a radiator smart valve that was not working properly and in less than 10 minutes I had rung their help line got through to a technical adviser and the problem was solved.
Their equipment is first rate and using it makes enormous savings on my household energy bills. Can’t praise them enough.

New router connection to Drayton Wiser hub.

We have our heating & hot water with Drayton Wiser. I phoned as had a problem reconnecting the system to our new router & it was resolved after 3 phone calls & some very helpful staff, Marie & Ellie, thanks. The phone was answered very quickly every time. Good service, thanks.

Drayton’s amazing automatic thermostatic radiator valves

After turning on the heating I wanted to post about Drayton’s automatic thermostatic radiator valves.
These are some of the best additions we’ve made to the central heating system, I can’t believe how well they work.
Drayton marketing proclaims, ‘no cold spots’ and thats 100% true.
Our home has never been so warm.
Although to achieve this ALL valves need to be fitted correctly, that is observing the correct Flow & Return on every radiator.
WARNING if you have a plumber fit them don’t let them fob you off with it doesn’t matter, it does.
Fit all the values correctly and you’ll have toasty warm home.
