So where to start, going back a little a was training to become a bus driver for first bus bolton but due to a really bad experience and attitude from the unprofessional instructor (Jimmy) I walked away, fast forward a few years I wanted to go back so I went to go north west at the time at Queen's Road. All started ok but then I told (Tony) instructor about my experience sadly would be my downfall as his friend was Jimmy. I came in the following day to him blunting saying he spoke to Jimmy last night and then gave a speech looking at me the whole time. I was made to feel again not wanted I swapped instructors for one day and trained with (Tim) not issues very respectful helped and explained everything not a bad word to say about this guy. Following day back to Tony shaking his head at me telling me I'm doing everything wrong nothing good enough for him or his friend. Again I walked away from this and into a different company I passed my test the first time and still driving for them to this day.
My overall is if your thinking about coming into bus driving and even meet anyone called Tony instructor walk away better company's out there.

I lost a phone on the 163. Reported it missing. The phone can be tracked by Google. It has spent 3 days in the Heywood depot, 3 days in the Bolton depot. They have not acknowledged that they have the phone. Even thought I know the exact location they will not let me collect it. I'm a single OAP and my only contact with the outside world is my phone and not being able to retrieve it for such a long time has caused me mental health issues. It would have been very easy for the phone to be dropped of at a travel shop on the rout for me to collect the next morning. Totally unacceptable system.

On Saturday 31 August me and wife went to get the 17.54 610 bus number 3490 to leigh at clapgate lane Wigan as we weren't right near the bus stop when a 610 bus came I ran to the bus an boarded the bus an said to the driver can you wait a minute as my wife is coming, your driver then said I'm not waiting for anybody an shut the doors an attempted to drive off,I then said to the driver she's here now,he opened the doors for her to get on the bus,I find your driver very rude an moody an not very friendly at all.

19-03-24 it was yesterday evening , time is 5.30 bus number 3265 we came from bury to salford 95. We want get off from the bus to mercy drive. I came with my daughter and grand daughter . Baby in pram . I press the bell it was big noise because that bell for wheel chair . That bus driver didnt stop the bus holt he take more forward and the proper mud place i cant take out pram . We too much got trouble to get out pram from the bus. Eaven that driver man didnt make bus step lover down to get my pram. Me and my daughter both side lift the pram and came out . We not came by bus free. We paid . And they not riding free. So drivers have responsibility for he's customers . But this driver dont have that. And he

Absolute joke of a bus service
Real shame there is a no stars. I use the 17 bus from Rochdale bus station. Why do numerous buses just disappear. My son is often late for school because no bus often turns up between 7.30 and 8 am when there should be at least three buses as they are supposedly every 10 minutes. Also makes me late for work.
Useless bus company
A Go North West bus went past with the number 688 heading to Monsall when it should have been the 41 heading to Sale Metrolink. I wonder why nobody was on the bus. Your incompetent bus company needs to get better drivers who know which service they are running. Nice 1.3 out of 5 aswell I am not surprised that is what you are rated.
Rude obnoxious drivers
Rude obnoxious drivers. Today driver was shouting at passengers, rude and angry. Fed up seeing this on Manchester buses. 17 going from Rochdale to Manchester at 8.21 this morning. I'm disabled and was shouted at like a 5 yr old. Nothing will be done it never is but maybe teach these drivers to actually act humane! to their passengers.

Wish I could give this company zero stars. Rude bus drivers on the number 93 (if it ever arrives heading into Shudehill) and for the return journey, services often don’t turn up meaning when one does, the bus is full. Horrendous service which you’re forced to use because of rip off car parks in Manchester.

If I could give zero stars, I would! This company is an absolute disgrace! Their buses are consistently late, disgustingly filthy, and as for the drivers? Well, let's not even go there. After using their service daily for a year, I was shocked to find that my card type was suddenly not accepted. The bus driver even had the audacity to scream at me, insisting I should have brought cash! In 2024... It's frustrating in this day and age. Perhaps it's time to upgrade your outdated machines, buses, and hire some decent drivers who can stick to a schedule!

Worst customer service
Driver was extremely rude to my partner for simply for asking for two returns , we are now aware they don’t do returns anymore but rather than just saying that politely he mocked my partner and aggressively pushed his hand away from the card reader . This isn’t the first time I’ve seen a bus driver be completely rude to a paying customer for no reason . Go north west should try employing people with better attitudes and not people who take their frustration out on customers . This was on the 93 to Shudehil.

The bus company declined my bank card and refused to let me on bus which I regularly board.
I went cash machine to withdraw money.
I then paid cash on next bus.
Later that day to my horror.
The bus company have taken money from My bank account after humiliating me and not letting me on bus.
I have tried to contact company to get my money back and there not interested.
This is fraudulent or theft.
I will not be using my bank card again on these buses and will always use cash.

I cancelled my gym membership because of them
Sick of them ruining my gym evenings.
I rang them up to ask why the 17 bus route is so bad and they tried blaming it on traffic on Rochdale Road. It's amusing because the number 18 bus takes the same route and is always on time, tried to tell them this and they told me that 1+1=3.
There response was basically "it's not our fault, it's the traffic's fault". We all know this is not the case as the number 18 bus is always on time.
The customer service representative I spoke to said I was being abusive and terminated the call because I raised my voice a bit, at not one point did I say anything abusive or swear or name call, they just used that as a kop out card to get off the phone with me.
