Mechanic was great, but the online arrival schedulling is for show only did not work despite checking every 20 mins.

The car air con needed re-gassing. I was delighted to find a mobile service offering this and at no extra cost to taking it to a garage. The job was carried out efficiently.

they say no charges if battery doesnt fit during buying but later charge you call out charges

Fitter - Owen who came out this morning was brilliant. He was patient, explained things to me and highlighted an issue I would not have known about unless he had taken the tyre off.

I had a flat battery at home phoned RAC who we pay a yearly sucribcription, turned up with no battery even though they knew what the problem was, was told it would be three days before they could get a battery. Went on line to Halfords booked next day slot, £50 cheaper. Great service.

Poor workmanship. Tyres not balanced correctly. Poor communication from fitter.

Halfords is, to date, in my opinion and experience reliable and efficient. MOT, tyre replacement and,most recently, a new battery. Also any items I need for the car are available. Prices are generally reasonable. The Halfords Motoring Club Membership is worth it.

Made the order and paid.
Asked to contact next day.
Called and said they are getting the tyre, then asked to contact again.
Told they don't have it and order cancelled.
Shocking customer service and constant emails.
Will not be using in future waste of time

Phoned did get hold of someone, after they cut me off the first time.
She said appointment cancelled . Why did they not inform me? Still showing was going ahead.
rescheduled Sunday, Why not Saturday?
Holiday £700. now have to cancelled. Solicitors on the case.

Quick and easy to book a mobile tyre replacement online. Technician called before arriving and got there at the alloted time. Was friendly and professional.

What really made it great was the fact that it so surpassed my expectations which were very low having taken vars to the Halfords depot on a number of occasions and found them to be the worst tyre providers I'd ever been to. This mobile services was perfect, didn't cost anything extra, was quick, convenient, guy did a great job and put the spare back along with all the bits and pieces exactly as they came out of the boot. Purchase and booking process was all very straight-forward

I have used the mobile tyre fitting service for the second time. The fitter rang me 30 minutes before arriving. He was very polite and efficient. I purchased the tyres at a good price. The fitter even explained to me why my main dealer had recommended the replacement of my back tyres. An excellent service.

The booking process was really easy and the technician arrived the following day! The battery had a long warrantee and the new battery was covered by that warrantee.

The mobile technician really knew his stuff. He spotted really quickly that an incorrect battery had been fitted previously and went above and beyond to source the correct one and ensure that it was fitted promptly. He was knowledgeable and very polite.

I booked Halfords Mobile Expert to replace all four tyres on my car. Three tyres were fitted successfully, but the technician advised that he could not remove the fourth wheel because the wheel nut would not undo. I was told a refund would be arranged for the unused tyre and that I should take the vehicle to a Halfords workshop where they would have the equipment needed to remove the wheel and complete the job.

My priority was getting all four tyres fitted, not receiving a refund, so I booked an appointment at my local Halfords workshop. It was only then that I was informed the wheel nut had been damaged and was stuck in the wheel. What disappointed me most was that the mobile technician never mentioned this. Had I been told at the time, I would have understood the situation and known what needed to be done next.

As a result, I have been left with an incomplete tyre replacement, wasted time travelling to a workshop, additional inconvenience, and uncertainty about how and when the issue will be resolved. I had planned to travel but have been unable to do so because the fourth tyre remains unfitted.

The mobile fitting service itself was convenient, but the lack of communication and failure to take ownership of the problem have significantly affected my experience. I would like Halfords to resolve the issue promptly and ensure customers are fully informed when complications arise.

Technician who arrived was professional and friendly and carried out the work I had booked diligently. He also provided me with advice re my 4x4 car which saved me having to have a part replaced (as part of the same order) saving me a few hundred pounds.
