Thank you for your reply, unfortunately Sakab in Customer Care is still not addressing my concern that I have lost out financially due to the fact of having to use public transport during the days I did not have my vehicle which was no fault of my own.
I have retained all my transport receipts so I would be grateful if someone could inform me how I get reimbursed for these? Just to clarify I would not have had to use public transport if RAC had not made this mistake.

Fantastic service rang on a Wednesday and job done on Thursday. I had been messed about for 3 days by another mobile mechanic firm so was absolutely delighted by the RAC response and communication.

I cannot fault RAC mobile mechanics to get the job done promptly.
I had a breakdown Saturday. Mechanic arranged for Tuesday morning. After extra parts were ordered, the vehicle was back on the road Wednesday afternoon.
Bradlee 8009 communicated clearly before the job, worked hard to solve the problem, and gave peace of mind by explaining the fault and fix to me.
The vehicle was reassuringly thoroughly tested before the job was completed, meaning I could feel confident when I got back behind the wheel, leaving my worries behind.
Professional, expert, job done, and based on this experience I will definitely be calling on RAC mobile mechanics again. I recommend.

First time with home visit service
It was the first time we had the RAC home visit and I must say that it was a breath of fresh air and one that i will be doing in future as opposed to taking it to a garage.
Everything from start to finish was smooth, the mechanic was top class, a real professional and nice guy to talk to. Kept it to Lehman's Terms with regards to anything to keep an eye on.
I have push friends and family to do the same.

Very disappointed with RAC Mobile…
Very disappointed with RAC Mobile Mechanics.
I booked a mobile service, but the mechanic refused to carry out the work because he said my driveway wasn’t level enough. I was then charged a £100 cancellation fee, despite no work being carried out.
I was never clearly made aware during the online booking process that a level surface was required. Had I known, I would have parked my car elsewhere.
To make matters worse, RAC had previously completed brake repairs on the same vehicle at the exact same location without any issues, yet they refused a routine service this time.
My complaint was rejected, and I was still asked to pay. Very poor customer service and a disappointing experience. I won’t be using RAC again

RAC patrolman, Gary ID; 1787 who attended our breakdown on 5/8/26 was fantastic. He was professional, explained clearly what he was doing and tried his utmost to resolve the problem. He even followed us home to ensure we did so safely, and resolved the tailgate issue for me to exit the vehicle.
