easy to process online. Its been a while since I took insurance out with with Motorcycle Direct and there seems to be so many more add on's this year its become a minefield of extras.

Good price but that’s not what everyone wants
Had a year with them and made no claims.
Very difficult to talk to a human.
And talking to the bot very frustrating.
Prices are very good but what I want is human contact.it took me 11 minutes to get though and then it is not a UK centre.

Hi,
I just took out your insurance but having done a little more digging into the details I realised that the breakdown cover you offer I.e the company you use had terrible reviews so I am not satisfied.
I called in and decided to cancel my policy as I was well within my cooling off period. Thinking that I will get a full refund but it turns out that there is a cancellation fee of £40??!!! This is ridiculous and a con simply!!! I called to cancel within 3-4 days of taking out the policy so if you want to charge fairly then do so for 4 days etc. pro rata the cost and deduct for 4 days.. Your team member was not willing to accommodate my Request for a full refund.
I find this a money making scam.. I would have agreed to the penalty had I been outside my cooling off period.
Also having read the review online mostly positive only when taking the policy out but looking at the review when people have been going through claims says a lot about how you deal with your customers… concerning really when it comes to making a claim!!
My request is still under review and I hope you will consider my request to refund in full.

Renewal quote.
Great competitive price and took 5 minutes to set up without any problems. My last insurer couldn’t even be bothered to send me a renewal quote, I had to call them up to sort it.

Good price.Everything was very straitforward. The only problem I had was when trying to print my certificate. The background would print but not the text. I did overcome this in the end by making a screen shot and printing from that.

Unapologetic and no patience to…
Unapologetic and no patience to actually talk through what has happened. Over messages but can tell the tone was didn’t care and couldn’t be bothered. Will avoid using motorcycle direct in future and will tell all my friends and family the same. On top of this, to renew I’m looking at doubling my premium this year!!! Wtf!!!
