Awful Company . Dud battery . When I contacted I was told I had to pay for the return at which point they would decide if it was faulty even though VW specialist diagnosed. I wouldn’t trust these guys as far as I could throw them ! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, THEIR PRODUCTS ARE RUBBISH AND THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE NON EXISTENT .

Battery is only a few weeks old doesn't hold a charge wanted to return this through ebay seller refused Battery and car was tested and Battery found to be a dud, avoid these rip of merchants at all costs, I'm going to deliver this battery back personally in the next few days then the shxxt is going to hit the fan

Terrible service - batteries delivered long after they were promised, it took days and days to get any response from them, and no answer when you try to call. The batteries themselves were advertised as leisure batteries, but examined by electrician/battery specialist, who confirmed these are normal car batteries. Cost me hundreds of pounds. Avoid at all costs.

Avoid buying at all costs !! Battery was suspect right from the start.They are liars and con merchants.4 year warranty !! What liars they are in all their eBay listings !! It is so sad that people like this can carry on trading and stealing peoples hard earned cash.When I broke down the RAC patrol condemned my battery and it was not half way through the supposed 4 year warranty !!

THIS COMPANY ARE IN SERIOUS BREACH OF TRADING STANDARDS AND SHOULD BE AVOIDED AT ALL COST. This company is registered with Companies House as having been dissolved in April 2022, yet it's still trading. What this company are doing is illegal and a serious breach of Trading Standards.
Anyone else that's being ripped off by this company that's interested in taking class legal action against them, please message me via Facebook aswell as report this company to Trading Standards. The more people report this company, the greater the chance that Trading Standards will do something about it.

To be frank, this is a company to avoid. They purport to selling a reasonable brand but the one that arrives is cheap and nasty. Some Asian brand that can't even be pronounced arrives. The one they sent died after 6 weeks and although they say send it back, you can't without a special licence agreement with the couriers. Avoid like the plague, I didn't know any better at the time but do now. !!!

Steer well clear I bought two large leisure batteries they lasted me four months refused to refund absolute joke of a company next time I’m in Luton I’ll be chucking them through his window

Just after 9 months my battery is no longer holding charge. Seller refused to take any responsibility and just fobbed me off trying to say battery failure is due to my neglect! I WILL NOT RECOMMEND

I purchased a 110amp 12volt leisure battery from eBay (number one batteries ) battery has claimed to have a 4-year warranty that doesn't hold up to anything. the battery arrived for my caravan as it was in the middle of covid I stored the battery then on unwrapping I took it from the box then out of the factor tightly wrapped plastic only to reveal the was no sight glass indicator, just acid that filled the plastic. I contacted number one batteries through eBay they just kept fobbing me off with the same thing.
been to the bank for a chargeback as its more than 3 months the bank is not interested, eBay not interested as its more than 30 days so trading standards next the financial ombudsman

Leisure battery failed after 2 months. Was in regular use, being charged most days, so I am confident it was not down to treatment. They ignore phone calls, texts, emails, ebay messages, so impossible to benefit from the claimed 4 year warranty. Total crooks, avoid like the plague

Battery failed after 18 months. Had 4 year warranty.
Very difficult to get a response from Number One Batteries - given the runaround for weeks ( take photos etc...). They then stopped replying to e-mails. I wish I had the time to take this further.

This company is very knowledgable with competive prices for good quality warranted batteries.
They are up to speed with the expetation of conducting businezz on cost & on time!! Most important right first time business culture👍

This supplier is down right dangerous. I bought a campervan and noticed the battery was dying in no time so I removed the leisure battery and found it was leaking. It was only a couple of months old so I contacted the man I bought the camper from and he contacted Numberonebatteries via eBay to be told they needed photos. So I sent the photos, then they wrote to the seller again, to tell me to recharge the battery overnight and try it again! so I'm supposed to charge up a hazardous battery and place it in my camper with my family in it? Fumes, acid? Fire? never heard anything like it. Asked them to refund the battery, only £64.99 but they refused and yet it has all the promise of a 3 year guarantee. Seriously avoid these like the plague. They're going to try and get away with it for as long as they can but meanwhile I will be reporting them to Health and Safety among other agencies including eBay who must have had a lot of complaints about them. You can try to contact them but they go around in circles until you are blue in the face. OR maybe try to recharge a leaking battery and burn to death!

Go to eurocarparts much better and only slightly more

I concur with previous 100% negative reviews, cost me time, money and work due to the stream of broken promises, unanswered messages, calls and down right lies from these people and it seems to me all in an effort to extort a higher price.
