Will be ordering more.
Since moving house a year ago and inheriting a big landscaping project there, we have ordered several trees and large plants from different nurseries. Ornamental Trees is the only company (out of 5 we have tried) that were exceptionally communicative before and during delivery and managed to deliver to the right address at the right time. This is not, apparently, as easy it might sound. The trees themselves were excellent and we are v happy with all the plants we’ve received. Will certainly be using them again.

The tree I received was shrivelled with…
The tree i received was shrivelled with brown leaves, clearly unhealthy and had been for sometime. When I sent photos u was told this was “normal”. With other vendors I have been refunded for the plant or they have a shipped a new one. This was not the case with Ornamental Trees

The weather conditions experienced this year have been particularly challenging for Acers, with many suffering from leaf scorch. While this does not generally cause long-term detriment to the tree, we appreciate that this can be disappointing to see, and our team has provided advice on how to care for the tree.

I was enormously disappointed
I was enormously disappointed.Having discussed weeks in advance with the suppliers how important quality, size and shape of my desired eucalyptus tree were to me, I ordered a delivery to my house some three weeks in advance. In my predicted absence the tree was delivered to my Isle of Wight address, as requested, on Friday 25 September potted and wrapped in strong brown paper wrapping. On my return home two days later, on opening the packaging, it was clear that two significant tall branches had broken off inside the packaging. The breaks did not look new. It appeared that they probably took place before despatching to my home, as opposed to in transit. Because of my travel plans I had to make a snap decision as to whether to accept it and plant it. Or whether to complain and wait for a resolution and a re-delivery before being able to plant a replacement. I don’t have the time or opportunity to chose the latter course of action because of long planned travel arrangements. So I planted the tree with help from my gardener last Monday. It looks alright but the broken branches are very apparent and change the overall shape height and impression of the tree
It is extremely disappointing to find myself in this position. I believe that the tree should have been checked thoroughly before being despatched.
This did not work out to my satisfaction!

Due to the delivery location, the final delivery arrangements and handling are outside of our direct control. However, all of our trees are carefully prepared for their time in transit, and we always want to ensure that any concerns are addressed wherever possible.
We have been unable to locate any previous communication regarding your concerns. Trees excellent quality
The trees came in really good condition, a pear tree William and a fig tree very well looked after even with some fruits that when they matured we had it at home and we're delicious. After tree months they are still alive and doing well and I also purchased another one called cornus kousa a d it's gorgeous

Healthy trees…
Over the years,I have purchased 6 trees in total and they have been healthy and still going strong. I purchased 2 prunus trees and they were tall and exactly as advertised. The delivery company were a bit of a disappointment and I did get a response from customer service when I raised concerns. It was sorted and trees arrived next day. Highly recommend.

Nice tree shape and been looked after
Nice shaped trees. No damage or signs of neglect. Well packaged. Delivered when stated. Not the cheapest but very good value.

Delivery system unsatisfactory.
Delivery system of plants enclosed in a heavy wooden pallet was unacceptable. This leaves the householder with responsibility of having to pay to have it removed, especially if the householder is a women. They were unhelpful when contacted about this.
Secondly, two plants were not up to standard. Srbutus should have had flower and red fruit on display at this time of the yeat: it did not. Magnolia Genie also should have buds forming:there were none.
Will not be purchasing from this nursery again.

As with any living product, trees can sometimes behave differently to expectations, particularly following transportation. The movement and conditions during transit can affect flowering, and it is not unusual for a tree to need some time to settle into its new environment. In most cases, once planted and established, this should not affect the following flowering and berry season. This year has also been particularly challenging for many trees, with a large number entering dormancy earlier than usual.
In relation to the pallet delivery, unfortunately, delivery companies do not remove pallets after delivery. We do make this clear on our website, and pallets can usually be taken to local recycling centres, many of which accept them free of charge.
If you have any concerns about the condition of your trees, we would be happy to help. Please send our team some photographs of any damage or areas of concern, and we can assess these and provide the best advice while working with you towards a suitable solution.

Really impressed with their service
Really impressed with their service. The tree was firstly very healthy and in great condition. Secondly, it was well packed and delivered by courier. The price was reasonable compared to other companies.
