Parkgate staff are the best
I just had Kevin A out to look at my mobility scooter. What a nice guy he is. He fixed the issue in no time, and then took the time to give me some advice about some mobility scooter questions I had all while being very cheery.

I visited your Loughborough shop…
Your response, together with the many number of similar reviews, suggests this is a recurring issue. The responsibility for preventing substandard care rests with your company through effective recruitment, training, supervision, and enforcement of acceptable standards.
The visit was on Friday 24th. The female staff member was, to the best of my knowledge, Danielle, who has long hair.
My mother is very unwell, and I will not be spending my time repeating concerns to your care team. The issue has been clearly raised. I expect your internal procedures and Human Resources to investigate and take the appropriate action.

I visited your Loughborough shop looking for a walker. A female member of staff approached me immediately but came across as cold and scripted, with no warmth or genuine engagement. When I moved to look at grab rails, she appeared to lose interest completely. Given your customer base, this level of customer service is likely to cost you business. Very poor service
Very poor service, overcharged my elderly father for a scooter then would not help when we contacted them. Would not recommend.

Ian at Retford was extremely helpful
Ian at Retford was extremely helpful when showing us a Pride GOGO Ultra scooter. He patiently showed us how it came apart and was very knowledgeable about the product. We bought it on the spot. Ian was great, even giving it a polish! Great service! Highly recommended

Extremely friendly and helpful staff.
A very kind and considerate young man called Kevin Anderson called today to take a look at my riser recliner as I was having problems. He looked at it and knew what the problem was straight away and rectified it. I couldn't have wished for a friendlier gent. I would highly recommend this company. Even the store staff in the Hillsborough Sheffield store went above and beyond to help me.

Mobility Equipment
We bought a new mobility scooter for my husband about a month ago and today I purchased a chair. Berni at Batley was brilliant both times. She was helpful, friendly and professional. Berni seemed genuinely interested in our health issues and how she could help us to obtain the appropriate equipment. Definitely recommend this service

Walking aids.
I went into the Castleford shop to get a walking aid for a family member. Keith was very helpful and guided me through the options. They had a 4 wheel Rollator in stock and was able to purchase it straight away and take it with me. In and out in 15 minutes, excellent service.

Berni@Batley was great with my auntie when we were looking for a rolator frame, berni was very helpful and informative and advised us which frame was suitable for my auntie's requirements. Berni was chatty and friendly throughout. Excellent service.

I call in your Loughborough shop occasionally and Dion the manager is always kind and helpful,always polite and lots of knowledge. I went in this week and what a difference! The woman in the shop was most unfriendly and everything I asked about she contradicted my needs. She didn't listen to what I was saying and I left without buying what I came in for. Not a good reflection on your company!

I can’t express enough how helpful and quick to respond this company is. I lease a Mayfair 8 via the mobility scheme and have purchased a reconditioned smaller model that can be transported in my car so I can travel and be mobile elsewhere. Every point of contact has been polite, friendly and efficient from my initial enquiry, through demonstration, leasing and purchase. Today Wayne called for a minor repair and again met all my expectations. I would highly recommend Parkgate mobility to anyone.

Disappointed after mobility scooter purchase.
I purchase a used scooter I was told the batteries should be 100% yet they didn’t seem to last as long as my old scooter. From day one the back wheel squeaked (probably brake catching. I reported it No one got back to me or attempted to correct the fault. That is nearly 1 month ago, it’s is still squeaking. I thought using someone like Parkgate mobility I would get a better service than a local second hand mobility scooter shop. Sadly that’s not my experience.

After speaking to Adrian at the Wakefield branch earlier in week i returned today with my 84 year old dad who as mobility and sitting issues. Great customer service. Choose the best riser recliner chair for dad's needs. Very friendly/knowledgeable. Would recommend visiting this branch.

Terrible Driving
It seems your customer service is much better than your van driving! I was aggressively tailgated by one of your van drivers down the Parkway from Sheffield down to the motorway roundabout. Being in a large vehicle you’d think the driver would have a clear view of the heavy traffic ahead of me and would refrain from driving dangerously close to my rear end. I can’t go any faster than the traffic in front of me, so don’t pick on me because you’re in a hurry!
