Scooter Hire
We hired a scooter for a weekend away with my dad from the Wakefield shop. Adrian couldn't have been more helpful when initially enquiring about options and then when collecting and dropping the scooter back off. Would definitely return to either hire or buy. Thank you!

An excellent service
The staff were very quick and efficient when organising the service appointment I needed, even though my scooter was not a model that Parkgate Mobility stocked. the service engineer. Kev Anderson, arrived on time, got straight on with the service and was extremely thorough. He was very pleasant and explained everything which need to be put right during the service.

My mobility scooter was due for a service I rang park gate mobility and Mick came out what a lovely helpful man he did my scooter and even sorted my phone holder out for me he gave me lots of advice about my scooter nothing was too much trouble for him

Took my mum to the worksop branch and they were so patient with her and so helpful nothings was to much for Ivana she went above and beyond and made my mum feel at ease .Also Rhys who delivered the mobility scooter gave a great demonstration and like Ivana he was so patient

We visited your shop in Castleford and was served my Keith. He was very helpful as I wanted a lightweight mobility scooter, which I could manage to lift and put in the car boot. He showed my how to lift the scooter and get it into the car boot.

Was hoping to call in to look at some scooters for my wife but your shop had closed its was about 4.40 yesterday. We have lost one moblity shop near Morisons I would have thought it good business sense to keep customers happy as you are our only shop for disabled in Loughboro and this has not been the first time I hope your office will make your shop available at all proper times

Thankyou Pete, for contacting us with regards to your concern regarding our Loughborough shop. Firstly can we apologise for any inconvenience it may have caused you on this day. Unfortunately sometimes, emergency health appointments, without notice, do mean that staff have to leave earlier than 5pm, but do actually let our service centre aware of an early closure, which seems to have happened. Customer care is very important to Parkgate, and again we are sorry for any inconvenience caused, and we will try to make sure that we provide a service within the hours stated. Thankyou for bringing this to our attention.

Keith and Helen were both very helpful and knowledgeable about the scooter we purchased. Delivery was prompt and help was given for the insurance.

Upsetting careless comment/opinion
Fault finding and customer care was brilliant and repaired within 30 mins. When it came to doing the invoice I was asked what my main disability was. When I said Fibromyalgia the Parkgate Mobility man said oh I have that ,but it not really a disability is it. I was a little shocked but just said I think you will find it is.
He should feel very lucky if he is able bodied and can bend up and down without issues. Many people like myself use Mobility aplliances because mobility is so painful. I am fed up with being made to feel judged and low by peoples careless comments and opinions. The lads who attended were Kev A/ Tom W. One was the trainee but it was the main lad who made the comment. If it wasn't for this comment/his opinion it would have probably been a 5 star

Thankyou Carla for reaching out to us with regards to your experience. After speaking to Kevin , who also suffers with Fibromyalgia, he was so upset to learn that his comments offended you. He responded that under no circumstances were any of his comments malice or intended at you, but were his experience of many years of listening to people saying that this is not really a disability, when he actually knows personally it is. He knows of pain and discomfort and is glad that people recognise this. Would you please accept his apologies and hopefully can look past any misunderstandings, especially, when Kevin always tries to give the best customer service to all his customers.
