They gave a competitive price but constant phone calls to renew before I read the policy. They wanted to arrange a call back, a little pushy I thought. Once I had renewed and paid the policy in full. They wanted a number to check my licence for endorsements, not a problem, but they give you 14 days to do this and two emails on consecutive days saying immediate action required. Although I have only renewed the policy on a Thursday as policy expired on Friday. Emails came Monday and Tuesday just after. I expressed this to them on an email when I supplied the required information, no apology just ignored my comments. The gentleman I spoke to regarding renewing, very helpful and informative, shame about the rest of the service.

Received my renewal quote via email on the Tuesday afternoon, Wednesday morning was the first phone call (no time to ring other insurance companies for a comparison quote) and the phone calls were relentless from there. On the Friday I was called 6 times, it’s borderline harassment. I’m a driving instructor, I can’t just randomly answer a phone. The 6th call I answered…it wasn’t convenient, but the calls we’re getting ridiculous, had to talk to Steve the chat bot, told him “I” would contact them on Monday…..guess what, got another phone call on the Saturday. Did end up renewing my policy with Policywave, but you almost lost me because of what seemed like pressure selling.

Jamie customer service was legendary. He gave the services I was looking forward to.

Rang up recently to change my address on my policy. The girl on the phone was fantastic. Can't remember her name sorry.
However, literally every other company I have contacted has changed my address with no charge. Yet Policywave charge £45 for a address change! And I get charge £11 more for technically living in a "better" area and my car is now on a driveway. Very disappointing thats all. And that's my reason for only 4 stars.
