Fast, efficient delivery with easy communication
Easy-to-navigate website with fast and efficient delivery. I had a question that was answered promptly, and although exchanges are not offered, returning a jumper that was too large was simple and hassle-free. The refund was processed within a few days, and the replacement jumper in a smaller size arrived just as quickly. Overall, an excellent customer experience from start to finish.

Update: we waited over a month from placing the order to delivery.

Unfortunately delivery times are extended at this time of year and we do try to advertise the fact as best we can. We display a note on the front page when ordering and re-iterate the lengthened lead time on our order confirmations, so I am sorry if these were missed and we will look to improve where we can both on the speed of delivery as well as our communication. I know that our response to emails did extend beyond our target of 24 hours and clearly our aim is to improve in the future.

Uniforms take absolutely forever to…
Uniforms take absolutely forever to even be shipped. Customer service are rude and unhelpful. I wish we could still visit a uniform shop. Online stores cannot keep up with volume and demand.

I am sorry you are disappointed with our service. We do encourage parents and carers to order early because, as has happened this year, if the majority of orders come in towards the end of August, delivery times are extended. We are working as quickly as we can to catch up and will be looking at ways to improve the service in the future. Current delivery times are up to 10 working days, as displayed on the home page, however the vast majority are going out sooner.

Totally disgusted with the service and prices, ordered a tie over a week ago and not even posted yet but charged £4.50 for delivery.

I am really sorry for your disappointment and I can understand your frustration at having to pay a delivery charge when ordering just a tie. The £4.50 charge is actually well below most of our competitors but I still get how annoying it is. We process all the orders in date order and over these few weeks, delivery times are extended, as stated on the website.

Lower quality than our previous school outfitters
Our kids' school made the switch to Price and Buckland about a year ago and I'm not impressed.
The logo cardigans and sweatshirts, for example, which are an obligatory element of the school uniform, have become worn out and tatty very quickly despite careful care. The older ones from the previous outfitters still look better than the Price and Buckland ones!

Delivery in 3 working days when website quoting up to 15
My sons start date at his new school was only confirmed last week and their website was quoting 10 working days to process the order and another 5 working days for delivery meaning he was going to be the new kid in his new school without a uniform. I called them in a panic and was told there was nothing they could do and no express service, to say I was disappointed was an understatement as I have always been able to source uniform from a local shop but P&B are a warehouse in Nottingham so no way of trying before you buy or collecting the order. I ordered on Friday 21st August and the uniform is being delivered today (26th)! Thank you for sending this so quickly! I've had to order some items in 2 sizes as not sure what size my son will be, he's just lost 21kg and although we have measured him, sizes vary between shops but I am hoping their returns process is as easy as their ordering service. Once again thank you!
