I placed an order with Price and Buckland but realised that I used the wrong house number for delivery I emailed customer service where my mistake was corrected very quickly by Dianne who was very helpful and efficient Thank you for your help.

I am not what they call technical savvy…
I am not what they call technical savvy so when I ordered the complete wrong thing for my son for his new school I didn’t realise until other parents were talking about the new school uniform. In a panic I messaged Price & Buckland to ask what I could do and they straight away explained that I could return items and await a refund to order the correct items. The unfortunate thing is I checked out as guest and threw away the receipt as you do… Denise from Price & Buckland found my order and completed a return form for me and guided me to complete returns label with post office to send things back. I am very impressed with her support and was well looked after right from the beginning.

Cheap nasty material
Just had uniform delivered, am shocked of the cheap material. Haven't got a choice as the school changed companies. I really don't know why as before it was from Stevenson shop good quality stuff. The delivery we got today i say material that temu use. This is not going last l,printed logo instead of embroidery, few washing it's going come off. Will be complaining to the school. Absolutely rubbish.

Thank you for getting in touch and I am sorry you feel the fabric is cheap. As schoolwear suppliers with over 65 years experience, we only use fabrics that are hard wearing and durable enough to stand up to the rigors of school life. As far as the printed logo is concerned, it was a decision made by school to opt for printing rather than embroidery and, whilst I appreciate your concerns that it might peel off, I can assure you that it really shouldn't.

Name labels were stuck to the bag, why not put them in an envelope. Wrong house sports top sent.
Was told correct item would be sent as a priority. That wasn't the case. Emails sent with mistakes, need to read through before sending. Seems total lack of professionalism or actual interest in customer service.

Replacing an incorrect item
I placed my order for school uniform with Price and Buckland, unfortunately one item was not the item I ordered so I emailed them to let them know and ask how I go about getting it replaced. They answered very quickly and asked me to start a return. I then had to return the incorrect item, they helped me through this process and I popped to the post office where they scanned the QR code I had been sent and printed me a returns label. Within 4 days my return had been sent and I had received the correct item.
Everyone was so helpful, great service.

The quality of the clothes is lovely
The quality of the clothes is lovely. However the delivery is extremely long. Took a 3 weeks . Then Royal mail messed me about for days pretending to deliver but they didn't. So had to go out of my way to collect from the post office.

Good prices but poor material makeup
Taking on new schools without sufficient capacity is not ok, they just undercut on pricing - but not matched clothing quality and services. Good prices but poor material makeup (not pure cotton, bad for kids with eczema - you cannot give them a % wool content to wear). No physical store, stock levels poor (OOS) and whilst some things in cm or inches having some things in S/M/L sizes is useless especially when online-only. Not an enjoyable nor easy experience.

No nonsense help when needed most
Having been rushed into hospital, I’d forgotten to complete an order which suddenly became quite urgent when I remembered a week later. Dianne was brilliant when I asked if the shipment could be prioritised, it was out the door to Royal Mail very quickly. There was no “pay for a courier” or “here’s a price”, just compassion, understanding and a desire to help. I don’t normally do reviews, but this one is fully deserved.
