Great, but not as local as you think
Bought several items in St Ives, happy with those, I bought more online. Good quality, love the styling. I will buy more in the future!
It would get 5 stars, but what purports to be a Devon and Cornwall brand ( god knows they need the work there) is actually based in a warehouse in Stockport. Missed opportunity to give something back to the local community.

Hi glad you love the brand and the clothes and we do try to keep our stores local to the coastal areas as much as possible, it's just more of a logistical placement to have the internet warehouse in an area with full motorway access and space to bring in shipping containers and have the storage available.

AVOID BUYING ANYTHING FROM THIS RETAILER WHO HAS APPAULING CUSTOMER SERVICE. I would give zero stars if there was an option to.
We visited the shop in St Ives where we purchased a significant amount of highly priced items. I then ordered a few items online which unfortunately did not fit. We then looked at returning them and were horrified that we as a customer have to pay postage to return items. Every retailer offers free returns so Quaba have no class or right to expect customers to pay for postage. When queried with customer services they were not interested in the fact we spent £900 in the shop and threw T&C’s at us with no gesture.
So today I am happy to pay postage to return all of the items valued at £920 and will not spend a penny in your shops again. Luckily none of the items have been worn. This is not about just the cost of returning goods but the attitude of customer services and no gesture at all.
Quba you should be ashamed !!!

We actually spent £900 in total over 2 separate days. £300 and £600 and in fact it’s over the £900.
How dare you question the spend ? It just shows how unprofessional Quba are as a company and the arrogance shows through. You don’t deserve the support of local customers or online.
Also let me correct you on returns. I order with several high street retailers and have never been charged for returns. For example, Canada goose, free returns to Germany, next free returns, Debenhams and I can go on So please don’t justify your poor practice on lies. Unless we are on holiday 90% of our shopping is done online and sometimes we order the same item in different sizes.
All returns have been sent now at our cost so let’s see how long it takes Quba to arrange the refunds. None of the items have been worn so let’s see …..

With regards the returns policy it is clearly stated on the site that customers are required to cover return postage costs unless the item is faulty or sent in error on our part. You will actually find that most major retailers charge for returns this is either done by the customer returning the item or deducted from the refund costs, also like most retailers you can return the items free to any of our stores for a refund, this was stated to you by the customer service team as well as the fact that you stated you spent £300 instore not £900 as stated here.

I contacted Quba about two medium sail bags I purchased 11 months ago, which have started to fall apart. The stitching around the zip and handles is coming undone. I’ve been buying these bags for years and still use large sail bags that are over 10 years old! Sadly, like many companies, Quba’s focus on quality has clearly declined. Their response? “Take it to a local repair shop and pay for the repairs yourself,” because it’s over 6 months old. It would have been nice if the bags had at least lasted a year!
I won’t be buying from Quba again—the quality is as poor as their customer service.!

Visited Trentham store, bought 2 shirts but despite being in the sale no discounts were on the receipt. My wife paid but didn't look at receipt until we got home. Won't be going back again
