Spatchcock rotissere chicken was a day…
Spatchcock rotissere chicken was a day past the sell by date so should have been removed from the shelf and certainly not picked to fulfil an order. Spring greens were battered with lots of broken and torn bits. Potatoes are often poor quality with rotten centres. When I complained to Customer services the lady I spoke to could not speak English properly so I had to ask her what she was saying repeatedly. Why put someone with such poor English on Customer Services? By contrast the delivery driver was lovely, polite, friendly efficient and helpful.
SAINSBURYS CHARLTON RACIALLY PROFILE.
*BEWARE* CHARLTON RIVERSIDE SE7 STORE. NO GOOD. I WOULD GIVE 0 STARS IF I COULD. RACIAL PROFILING IS ABUNDANT THERE SADLY - YES .. AND ALMOST 2026!!
HAD BAG CHECKED **TWICE** UPON LEAVING - AND *NO* APOLOGY. WAS HUGELY EMBARRASSING AS A WOMAN OF COLOUR TO SEE WHITE PEOLPLE SMIRKING THINKING I WAS A THIEF. I HAVE NEVER BEEN TREATED LIKE THIS IN ALL MY 50 YEARS ON EARTH. I HAVE STOLEN IN MY LIFE, AND *NEVER INTEND TO EITHER SAINSBURYS.
THE ONES YOU SHOULD BE STALKING - YOU DON’T.
WISE UP!
PROVIDE CUSTOMER SERVICE
I like Sainsbury for many reasons.however your customer service standards are going down.I shop in Worksop and prefer to be served. These days there are regularly no tills manned, it's self service or nothing. The standard of your food is not as good as it was.I'm a great cheese fan and the standard is poor.I now wait till I go to Chesterfield and visit M&S.There are regularly few staff about when you need to ask for help.I'm not interested in all the vouchers that appear, I would rather have good service and good quality food.
I’m extremely concerned that…
I’m extremely concerned that Sainsbury’s continues to allow razor blades to be purchased by any age through their self-service checkouts, despite their own website stating that you must be 18 or over to buy them. My 16-year-old daughter was able to buy a razor at the Sutton (Surrey) store and then used it to self-harm.
Sainsbury’s has taken no responsibility, and the issue is still happening — these items can still be bought by under-18s without any age check. Parents should be aware that if their child struggles with self-harm, they can easily obtain these razors from Sainsbury’s, even though the company claims they are age-restricted.
This needs urgent attention to protect vulnerable young people.
Unwelcoming
If the management of Sainsburys had decided on a path to put shoppers off, they could not have done better. Today at the Wellingborough branch there were queues of people at the only 2 checkouts working, whilst the Self-service checkouts were almost unused. This is before the Christmas rush starts. It will be M & S or Waitrose for me now.

Why can't Sainsbury's fix their stupid online app. I have called three times, been given temp. Password, then told to reset, then locked out for using the change password. Just tried to get in again and it won't do anything. I have a Christmas order booked for click and collect and wanted to amend it but can't get in to the site to even order everyday groceries. What the hell is going on with it? Tesco, Waitrose, Morrisons don't have this trouble so why do you?
Check-out
I went there this afternoon & was surprised that four staff were gathered round a standard check-out obviously having a social chat, watching customers do their job by using the Self-Service checkouts!
What I found staggering, was the blatant cavalier attitude.
If Sainsbury's can afford a squad of employees to stand around a service check-out, I'm sure that they can afford one of them to man one!
On line shopping website really really…
On line shopping website really really pi$$!$$ me off it jumps it doesn't respond for second after you touch for something once you added to your basket you scroll down and it takes you back to the other item you just added it's a royal pain in the arse and they've never ever corrected or updated their stupid website.
Then once you have finished you book a date which then tells you half your items for that date aren't on offer it's the worst shopping experience on a website I've ever experienced you have no notes you can add for the shoppers like every other big supermarket it's way behind its time.
Prices are joke the food quality is disgrace low quality ingredients double price for half products sizes.
I went with hello fresh on Amazon and my potatoes and carrots are still rock hard from 4 weeks ago other supermarkets the vegetable items are gone within a week it's a utter disgrace and that's all of you not just sainsburys.
Grand rising people happening soon watch out.
We ain't taking this crap for much longer.
No customer care
I used Uber eats for shopping. So I’m presuming Sainsbury’s staff pick the groceries- if they was picking their own would they pick everything to go off over night ? One day on everything all to eat next day ? Uber eats are the ones you complain to yet it’s whoever shopped for you in Sainsbury’s has no thought. I’m sure on this occasion it’s Sainsbury’s who are at fault but they pass problems to uber . No customer care

My wife and I walked out in disgust after being told we had to use an app.
I do not have a smart phone but my wife does but the store staff couldn't get it on her phone. This means we would never accumulate points that mount up and get money off your shop. We shopped at M and S instead. High tech enthusiasts on Sainsbury's board seem unaware that many of their customers do not have smart phones.
We have now had our shopping experience ruined as we enjoyed shopping together at Sainsburys, spending hundreds of pounds a week. We will now shop elsewhere.

I am rating it 2 star in comparison to Morrisons for delivery
Morrisons didn’t have all the dog food so needed more and went to Sainsbury’s
Usually the Morrisons driver will bring the crates into the kitchen and will sometimes help me empty them ( maybe not their job but as disabled person I do appreciate it )
Today driver piled the crates up at my front step which meant there was no way he could come in , and I emptied them at the door putting them on my hall floor as he stood and watched
Just not impressed with Sainsbury’s these days , every time I’m in people complaining no one on check outs , big trolleys at self service , I’ve stopped going in but I do like some of their products
That delivery delivery was a duker, if ever I’ve seen one
Maybe try Asda or Tesco if Morrisons don’t have the stock
Usually give the driver a few quid to say thanks , first time today I’ve not done that cos I appreciated every little bit of help living in chronic pain
Low Stock on Dinners
On visits to the store in Aylesford the ready meals dont appear to have a long enough date on them to make things go abit longer if it's not that then the fridges are not being kept stocked up with dinners they have also stopped doing the sweet and sour chicken on it's own and done away with the Beef Burritos and Chicken Enchiladas. Prices as getting high too. My mum did her shopping and wasn't pleased there wasnt many dinners for her. Low Stock
Much better quality than TESCO
Much better quality than TESCO, and cheaper with the ALDI price match. Nectar reduced prices make it more affordable me, not to mention collecting extra NECTAR points.
Drivers on home delivery seem to much older than other delivery people so they understand when delivering to a senior citizen. They will get all my grocery shopping from now on.
My god
My god. The eastern Euro guy couldnt even find my account. It sounded like they were having a party in the background. Its the end of the world as we know it - and i feel s..t.
I was sold the wrong item. I called customer service & they wouldn't even give me Nectar points.
My eyesight is failing so I trusted the assistant was giving me the correct vape pods. The tiny boxes are feet away from the otherside of the counter. I specially asked for SKE Crystal Vape Pods (2 set). When I got home late, I opened the box to find an ordinary pod & a holder for the same price. I have 2 holders already. The argumentative operator talked over me, blaming me & questioned if I have help selecting items from the shelf; a totally different experience to buying tiny boxes from a kiosk. She finished with it's opened, so we can't (won't) do anything. No responsibility taken whatsoever.
Why do I have to activate my…
Why do I have to activate my personalised offers? Surely swiping my nectar card should be enough. I didn't do it, the receipt didn't print properly and I was looking at a queue at customer services for 60p. Sainsbury's really losing the plotm

Call centre rudeness
Shopping didn't arrive at the specified delivery time. Telephoned the call centre to see when it would arrive - they said it wouldn't due to an IT glitch and there was no point trying to book a slot for the following day. Barely a hint of an apology or the promise of expedited delivery due to the inconvenience. The call handler then proceeded to deliberately talk over me for about five minutes and also claimed that I wasn't "the customer"... despite being the person paying for and booking the delivery. Here's an idea Sainsbury's - employ people who are competent with customer service skills. Disgrace.
NO SHOPPING
I ordered a home delivery as I cannot get to the store and sadly the van broke down an hour before my delivery, I know this cannot be helped but when I called to arrange a re- delivery I was told there were no slots available so my only option was a refund which could take 3 - 5 days, great service Sainsburys.
overcharging
overcharged now have to wait 5 days for a refund , the phone was put down on me , i have now cancelled everything to do with them will shop elsewhere from now
