**Updated Review – Matter Resolved**
Following my original review, I wanted to provide an update as the matter has now been resolved.
After a lengthy dispute, Secured Homes eventually agreed to reduce their quotation to a figure that was broadly in line with the two other independent quotations we obtained. Those quotations were considerably lower than the original price we were given and, in our opinion, represented a much more realistic market value.
Our biggest concern throughout this process was the sales experience. The initial visit was a **cold-call doorstep sale**, and the salesperson remained at my 77-year-old mother's house for around **four hours**. My mother is the full-time carer for my father, who suffers from advanced dementia, and she found the whole experience overwhelming. We do not agree with the company's view that this did not amount to high-pressure selling.
The original quotation, in excess of £13,000 for a small three-bedroom terraced property, was, in our opinion, excessively high. My mother felt embarrassed about the situation and did not want to make a fuss, so thankfully our family stepped in to help resolve the matter.
Now that the installation has been completed, I have to say the installation team were excellent. They were polite, efficient, tidy and completed the work to a good standard. The windows themselves appear to be of good quality, and we are pleased with the finished installation.
My advice to anyone considering replacement windows or doors would be **never sign an agreement on the day of a doorstep sales visit**. Always obtain at least two or three independent quotations first so you have a realistic comparison of prices before making a decision.
Whilst we are pleased the matter has finally been resolved, it should not have taken months of correspondence and legal proceedings before a fair price was offered.

From start to finish the whole process was made very easy. The rep that came out initially was easy to talk to and was very helpful right through to the installers who were very efficient and tidied up throughout the installation. The whole house (14 windows, 2doors) was completed in 2days. I was kept informed throughout the whole process over the phone, phone staff were also extremely helpful. Can't recommend this company enough. 5 stars

Excellent work from start to finish.
From start to finish, this vompany has been brilliant. Having given me a quote for 3 windows and a door which was very reasonanle, there was no pressure. We arranged a date, they were bang on time and worked hard and fast doing a great job. They made everything neat and tidy, clearing everything away after. The lads were cheerful, friendly and professional. I would recommend this firm without hesitation. 5 stars well deserved.

We recently had 5 windows installed in a property we had just acquired.
From first contact Riz was excellent describing products with obvious experience and passion and getting the best competitive deal whilst ensuring quality.
The installers were excellent respectful of the property and cleaned up after themselves.
