If I could leave 0 I would

If I could leave 0 I would. Had an incident in one of skyex cabs, phoned the office was told it was my fault, a very rude lady. Have reported it to the police as thankfully I had the car registration.

AVOID!!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS:

Drivers are unsafe, dishonest and steal! When reporting such issues we were told it was our fault!

Police have been contacted!

DO NOT USE!!!

DO NOT USE!!!! Purse left in back of the car. Driver has taken all the cash and attempted multiple transactions for thousands. Called the company and told them police are involved and they told me to come for them as they have nothing to hide. No apologies. Just complete self righteousness. Wouldn’t even offer to help in any way. Disgusting!
On top of this drivers got lost on the way home, two circles round Trafalgar square, hit the curb twice then to top it off nearly crashed into another car twice.
On the way offered a sweet to which not even a no thank you, just outright blanked. Rude!

I will never use Skyex again 😡

I will never use Skyex again.
I would advise others not to either.
Totally unreliable and couldn’t give a damn.

Today I had a hospital scan for 9.20am. The taxi was pre-booked & confirmed 2 days ago for 8.30am. So I’m waiting outside the house early, no sign. Called them at 8.36am to be told they are now really busy, it’ll be at least 20 minutes, I said my booking was urgent. I called the hospital and they could only wait until 9.30am for me. I thought I could just about make it. Then I get a text saying they are still on the previous job, so another 12 minutes. The hospital couldn’t wait so cancelled my appointment and gave me a lecture about messing them around.

That specialist scan was for suspected cancer.

I had to fast for 6 hours for it. I’m diabetic too and had to remove my Freestyle monitor. So you can imagine how I am feeling - stressed, angry & extremely upset.
Surely a pre-booking to a hospital should be a on the roster of jobs priority.

So heads up, they are unreliable, I will be deleting their App & using Uber instead.

Skyex booking on 15th June 2025, afternoon.

At the time of booking this afternoon 15th June, I was advised by SkyEx the taxi would be 15 to 20 minutes. This was then extended by another 20 minutes when I rang to say the taxi had not arrived. The driver then refused to drive into the given location to pick up an 86 year old lady who was in pain due to Arthritis and has limited mobility.The driver asked for my elderly mother to be brought to the main road and get into the car while he was driving along in traffic, so he could save time. Despite telling him of my mum's condition, he spoke very rudely over the phone and refused point blank to turn into the church car park to pick up mum . He insisted my mum get in the car while he was stops in traffic, to the side. I walked up to his car which was on the road moving in traffic and pointed to him the turning into the car park which was three car lengths away, bu still he refused. Because my mum was in pain, and had been waiting for over an hour for the taxi, with the help of others in the church, we tried to walk mum to the roadside. When we came out of the church and were in the empty car park in front of the church, he saw us walking very slowly towards the road, he then turned the car around and came back five yards and turned into the car park which he had by now passed. Mum and my husband who also has health issues, then were able to get in the taxi safely and were driven home. I regularly use taxis, mostly skyex and most are polite but this taxi driver was arrogant, was shouting over the phone for us to come to the road to get in the taxi. No text messages were sent to me with vehicle details until at the end of the journey. If Skyex pride itself in giving good service and getting passengers safely to their destination, this driver either needs retraining or be removed from your employment. Generally speaking, Skyex is not reliable to arrive on the time given. They advertise heavily in the towns and local hospitals for people to use their company. If they company is not able to arrive on time, they should not take the booking. If they are delayed, they should have the decency to ring and inform the customer, instead of the customer ringing them because the taxi had not arrived.

Let down yet again!

Yesterday (13 March) my partner had an urgent doctor's appointment and I booked a cab 2 1/2 hours beforehand for the short trip to the surgery.
Ten minutes after it was due I rang up and was told it would be there in another 10 minutes. After a further 25 minutes I was told again it would be there in 10 to 15 minutes.
Needless to say that after waiting for an hour past the booked time I had to cancel it because it was too late and her GP would be leaving soon.
This isn't the first time this has happened to us!

A few years ago I got to know Dev, the founder of SkyEx, when I was doing voluntary work and he told us about the computer systems and how things work at the office (we were even given an opportunity to visit the office to see it all but that never materialised).
I can only wonder how a modern system can work if no driver turns up when I've booked well in advance for a short local journey?

Extremely annoying yet again when we rely on a service to take us to an important appointment!

Used to be decent, now unreliable.

We have been using Skyex for almost 20 years, However the recent poor service means we will no longer do so. We booked a cab with them to pick us up (family of 4 with two infants and were told that the cab was coming in 12 minutes and to head to the parking zone (outdoor and freezing cold weather) we waited around 45 minutes before calling again and asking what was going on. After insisting they call the driver and see where they are, they come back to us to say “oh he is just finishing dropping off a passenger in Terminal 4 and will then come to you. So basically they lied and knew the cab wasn’t even headed to level 4 terminal 2 car park but told us to head there knowing we had two babies with us. We waited in the freezing cold for one hour before the cab finally came.

This was the last straw, other bad events over the last few times we used them are :

My mother almost missing her flight because the driver decided to take a route different than what the satnav suggested (there was an accident and they were stuck for two hours on the m4 but could have avoided if listened to my mother suggesting alternative route)

Cab not showing up when we suggested this company to friends. Very embarrassing. Never again.

Uber is a bit more expensive but you get it in under 5 minutes and can just order a uber XL reliably.

SKYEX EXTREMELY ABUSIVE PASSIVE AGGRESSIVE DRIVERS WHO DELIBERATELY TAKE THE LONG WAY AROUND AND REFUSE TO TAKE THE ACTUAL ROUTE SHOWING ON APP !!!

EXTREMELY RUDE … EVEN BEYOND RUDE DRIVERS !!!!

THEY SHOUT AND BECOME VERY VERY AGGRESSIVE IF YOU REFUSE TO PAY CASH !!!

IT IS VERY CONVENIENT FOR ME TO PAY IN CAR VIA ( LINK-PAY ) APPLE-PAY/OR BY DEBT CARD !

THEY FORCE ME TO TAKE MONEY OUT AT A RANDOM CASH MACHINE ( which for safety reasons i don’t like to get robbed or attacked at a cash machine!! )

Also the drivers SMELL HORRIFIC !!

MY DRIVERS ALWAYS ALSO SPEAK BASIC English and argue over petty things and lie make up lies about why they deliberately the long way around!! Last week one of my drivers said i smell and he half drove down my road refusing to drop me off at my actual destination which was extremely unsafe and scary ( I am disabled and can’t walk that far half way down my road which shows in my app and there head office pre-book I am now writing this review on while I am in yet another ABUSIVE SKYEX cab !! I reported the driver and the head office always apologise but it seems to now becoming a regular occurrence of EXTREMELY RUDE AGGRESSIVE Indian/ Somali drivers only who are abusive passive aggressive behaviour one Somali driver had his kid on loudspeaker while driving and was saying disgusting things to me like I’m a thief and rude words !!!

The most disgusting service yet

The most disgusting service yet
I've used the service more than 5 times and everytime there has been an issue
The few 2 times I was charged a price that the driver decided, not what was quoted during booking
On this occasion, no-one turned up
There's no system in place to let you know that no-one will turn up either
After many calls, the representatives cannot be certain either if anyone will arrive at all
This affected my work substantially as I wasn't able to attend work
Avoid at all costs

No show cab

One star is far too generous for this company. They left my 90 year old Father and his partner without a lift some 15 miles away from home despite being booked to pick them up at 23.15 on 23rd November. To make it worse we were celebrating my Father’s 90 birthday at the time and most of the guests had already left. Fortunately my brother was able to wait with them for the phantom cab to arrive, which of course never happened. When Sky ex were contacted we were told that the booked driver had taken another job and they would send another. As a result of their incompetence, we were fortunately able to get a guest to return to the venue and make the journey home with them. Absolutely shocking!

Skyex provided an excellent business…

Skyex provided an excellent business ride experience. The executive car was clean and comfortable, the driver was punctual and professional, and the journey was smooth and hassle - free ideal for corporate travel. Highly recommend for reliable business transport 😃

Rude Controller

I have used Skyex cars for all my trips to the airport and back. Had the experience of a rude officer who I tried to reason that the website was quoting a price lower than that was quoted. Instead of being polite was extremely rude.
SkyEx remember there is competition in your industry and if you are rude to your customers they will walk to your competitor just like what I have done today.

I found booking online to be quick and easy. Very simple system. Driver was there in literally 2 mins as shown when I booked. Was very cost effective, more than what I expected. I don’t usually use cabs anymore as I drive but had to use on the way back from the Hospital as i arrived by Ambulance. I don’t have uber app on my phone but going forwards I would definitely be using this service in the future.

Shocking taxi firm

Booked taxi in advance to get my to a venue for an important meeting. Received text and call ten minutes before it was due to say it’s in the way. It never turned up!! Rang and was cut off by them when trying to find out what was going on. Grabbed an Uber instead!! AVOID!!!!

Despite booking the taxi 1 week in…

Despite booking the taxi 1 week in advance and ringing the day before to confirm the booking, was promised the car will be there at the agreed time .
On the morning, received a call 20 mins before the car is due, there is no driver.
This has happened on 2 occasions.
Very unreliable service.
Will not recommend this cab service to anyone.
Manager makes excuses that they are based in Hayes.
Then why accept a booking then cancelling last minute because no driver available.
Please note DO NOT use this useless car company, most unreliable and cancels last minute.
Do not recommend this car service.

Avoid

If I could give them a 0 I would. I had pre-booked a taxi for 11pm, got told it would be there at 11.20pm and the driver turned up at 12.30am, saying that he got given the job just before 11.

Awful experience

Awful experience ! Not only they are wasting the time and taking the money out of you but also have the audacity to LIE me that the cab. “Will arrive “ absolutely joke this company. Is and the fact that I was with patient it’s literally disgraceful ! Never gonna use their services yet again !

Aggressive and dishonest

Just spoke to the most ill-behaved operator, who was trying to send us a seven-seater car for three with three suitcases. Got aggressive when I called him out. Avoid this company! There is a difference between making a profit and ripping people off. Of course we got another company who sent me a normal car where everything fitted well. Operator refused to give his name but it was at 2215 approximately today.
