Recently moved to Acle from Cumbria and purchased a bungalow through Starkings and Watson. There was no problem arranging viewings to suit our visits and the team were professional helpful and friendly. Tracy kept us up to date and went over and above to complete by the designated date. An excellent service and I would highly recommend.

We had a very difficult end to the tenancy with a landlord who was trying to money grab from the deposit. The estate agent, particularly Sophie, was amazing at being impartial but giving really good advice and pushing for a fair resolution. In the end they had our deposit returned in full and didn't need to go to the DPS because of Starkings reasoning with the landlord.

Sometimes it's hard to get through to people on the phone as all of the phone numbers take you to a central hub, but Sophie was always there on email. If everyone was able to be like her at Starkings it would definitely be a 5* review.

From viewing a property till I was called that I have gotten the property and to moving into the property, rhe team at Starkings and Watson has been wonderful and helpful, They provide you will every necessary information. I hope to use Starkings and Watson again in future when I want to buy my first house.

We recently purchased a property in Filby, and are very pleased with the service provided by Starkings and Watson. The purchase was not straightforward, owing to issues highlighted by a surveyor's report; however, our Sales Progressor - Caroline Larke was extremely helpful, and maintained regular contact throughout the process of remedial work. Without Caroline’s support, I suspect we may not be moving to our new home.

Starkings and Watson have provided us with an excellent service in the selling of our property via the Bungay office. Liz was in constant communication and offered professional advice and suggestions to aid a sale. Sarah also kept us updated with the progression of the sale and communication with solicitors. I would highly recommend them to anyone selling or purchasing a property.

We had such a fantastic experience selling our house with Starkins and Watsons, Bungay. From the very beginning, Liz and Martin were brilliant – their communication was outstanding, with calls always answered or returned straight away. They were honest throughout the entire process and provided such reassuring support.
After the sale was agreed, Will took over as our representative and he was equally excellent. He kept us updated every week, so we always knew exactly what was happening, and he was always on the other end of the phone if we needed anything.
The whole team worked together seamlessly and really went above and beyond for us. We couldn’t have asked for a better service. We would absolutely use Starkins and Watsons again and highly recommend them to anyone looking to sell or buy a property.

I have never enquired with, nor used this company. My property was listed on the market with another agent. Starkings&Watson have searched my property address up to obtain my details off land registry to write to me.

Although it’s not illegal, it’s unethical and pushy. I’ve never experienced such tactics.

Sadly, what this achieves for me, is the opposite of what they are hoping to achieve. I’m put off by slimy, pushy agents and I feel violated by them obtaining my name and address, to cold call me.

They need to adjust their morals. As this will lose customers!

We had a very good experience overall with Starkings and Watson when we purchased our property in Norwich. It was especially helpful to have Janet Riches progressing the purchase. She kept us updated with regular communications, stayed on top of everything, chased where necessary, and was a friendly and helpful support in what can sometimes be a stressful process.

Second time using Starkings & Watson with buying and selling properties and we received excellent service each time.
Everyone from Harry re Valuation, Daniel and team with negotiating and Janet in the finishing team. Communication was very good and weekly updates received, so we knew at every stage what was happening.

I had a really positive experience with Starlings & Watson. The team was always friendly, professional, and easy to communicate with. They took the time to listen and offered honest, helpful advice without ever being pushy.

Their approach felt genuinely personal, and they clearly care about doing right by their clients. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy estate agent. A pleasure to deal with from start to finish.

Starkings & Watson was a good agent, well approachable and quick with the listings. We reduced the rent to aid them in securing interest and they got a viewing shortly after the property went on the market at the new rental value. They were good at communicating that the viewing was going ahead.

Unfortunately, they were not on time for the viewing, in fact 45 minutes late and therefore i (the landlord) had to conduct the viewing. If i had not been there the viewing had not gone ahead as the agent was not able to get of hold of either the potential tenant or myself. Lucky as i am a proactive landlord, the viewing went ahead.

When discussing the lateness of the agent, they advised it was due to travel times, which makes me think they should not have expanded their scope of work outside Norwich.

Also, Chris Starkings, does not believe a reduction of fee should be accounted for, due to missed/late apportionments.

Regardless of all this, the application is moving forwards and we are likely to secure the tenant. The office/referencing team at Starkings have been in contact quickly and i have been told to expect a few days before referencing is complete

Buying through Starkings and Watson Poringland was a simple process and Janet Riches provided information regularly on how things were progressing with the sale and remained positive throughout.

I was attempting to buy a property near Great Yarmouth and had it not been for Caroline Larke I would have given up long before completion , which took 7 months !! Caroline kept me in the loop , rang me regularly with updates and generally was a real superstar - she deserves a huge Thankyou from us both !!

A really good service from start to finish from the team at Poringland. They sold our house but in the process of it being advertised, we received regular updates. We were usually not home when viewings took place but the few where we were home, we could clearly see that the agent showing the clients around knew the house well and could answer their questions from being well prepared.

I recently used starkingsandwatson to sell my property and can honestly say everything went smoothly from the initial valuation through to completion. Kerri at the wymondham branch has a great team. The photographer was really great and took lovely photos. Clare kept me informed as the sale progressed. I am so pleased that my elderly mum is now using them for the sale of her property.

This is the second time I have used Starkings & Watson in the last 5 years. Their professionalism has been second to none, in fact outstanding. For my recent move, John Payne was very good at pushing my sale and giving that much needed viewer feedback, with a slight adjustment on the seller process, his idea my property sold. The after sales with Will Crawford again was outstanding with regular upto date emails and phone calls on the process of the sale, even support when my buyers buyers had a delay. We all know selling and buying homes is incredibly stressful, but these guys made it a whole lot easier. Thank you
