We decided to move up to Norwich from Essex and after initially telling us that We couldn’t view the property that we liked as there was too many viewings, They decided to book us in last minute. We drove up from Essex to view the property. Isabel and Jess, I cannot fault for their politeness and professionalism. After only a couple of days, we got told that The property was ours. I cannot tell you how happy We were to get our dream of moving to Norwich. Isabel was always polite when she showed us around and on time when we went to collect the keys. A very well spoken polite young lady Very professional, friendly and helpful.

Keep receiving letters through the post despite being listed with another estate agent

They were very helpful in all aspects of our purchase. Caroline was so helpful and went out of her way to make sure everything was communicated to not only the immediate chain, Caroline kept all the chain informed.

Recently purchased a property in Caister and could not have wished for a better service. From start to finished Janet Riches was a super star! Weekly calls to inform us of updates in our chain of 6. Endlessly chasing the chain and their solicitors to get answers and follow up on queries.
She was a breath of fresh air compared to the estate agent we used to sell our property. Thank you so much for your help and professional approach

A complete joke for an estate agent.
Completely overpricing properties with the hope of a larger commission.
Unrealistic and greedy. Avoid these cowboys at all costs.
You’ll only end up dropping the price to sell, which looks desperate, and then going elsewhere to another agent anyway.
Don’t waste your time.

Not used them to sell our property but viewings via them and these are my views.

1. Hasseled 10 mins after viewing property by phone, i will give feedback when i deem required.
2. Property shown on website & rightmove after being told its off the market & then i find that property for rent on another website? is it for sale or not??.
3. Multiple texts hassling about feedback on viewings.
4. Constant flyers through our door offering to sell our house when they have zero chance of me selling via them & they know i am happy with my current agent, save your paper & time !.
5. Properties they advertise between 20-40k over what they are actually worth.
6. Lastly "Offers in excess of" one of the most stupidly used estate agent terms in the world, if a property is listed as 310k im not going to offer 350k. Tell the potential buyer how much you want not leave us to bid like an auction & guess.

All in all too pushy & to desperate in my view and need to tone down on the persistant contact, its a busy world out there with many estate agents who adopt a much better approach to house sales.

We have recently purchased a property through Starkings and Watson. We received a great level of service from Caroline who was on hand to assist us along the way, she was professional, polite and courteous throughout. A real asset to the company.

Our only negative is that it would have been nice to have a direct dial telephone number for her. Although she did always return our calls promptly, a direct contact would have been easier for us.

Just about to complete on a property in Salhouse sold by S&W. From the agent showing me around (James Leftley) to Sarah Short & Janet Riches of the after sales team, the service has been excellent. Good communication & nothing too much trouble. Would recommend

Quick response to value property but continued to contact me after I informed them I was going elsewhere. It’s just frustrating that my response seem to fall upon deaf ears, I wasn’t up for changing my mind.

We had a 5 star service from Steve in Diss and the rest of the team at Starkings. No pressure or hassle - all in our own and buyers time. They kept us informed at every stage - made selling very easy for us.

The team at Brundall office of Starkings and Watson are all so professional and helpful. They are compassionate and give a great service. Sarah Short has been excellent with good regular contact and communication. It's been a long process to sell our property and the team did everything and more to make it the best experience possible. I would highly recommend.

Mainly good communication, knowledgeable and helpful. Pleasant approach and prompt payment of rental income. Regular condition checks on property is reassuring and feel confident the property is in good hands and the tenants are being fairly treated.
One star has been deducted because of initial difficulty in communicating and listening to our requirements but five star experience once this problem was overcome.

Recently purchased a bungalow through them at their Bungay office.
I found all of the agents and staff most helpful and efficient.

We asked three estate agents to quote to sell our house in Tharston last year. Of these, Chris Starking impressed with straightforward answers to our questions. We later found out he had arranged our daughter's purchase a couple of years ago and she was pleased with their work.
The process took a while with some viewers really wanting to undercut the asking price, but the house is fairly unique and we got a fair price in the end.
We followed their recommendations as to conveyancers and the rest of the legalities as well as a removal company and are happy with the entire process.
The virtual tour camera system was great fun to watch and made the house look its best!

The Brundall team gave a great service during our move, friendly and helpful team, lovely little touch sending us a new home card and gift.
