Great service, ordered a Bristan mixer tap on Wednesday and it arrived on Friday as expected. Checked box, all perfect.
Fitted tap on Monday, much better than the one it replaced. Very competitively priced with free delivery.
Will definitely use Taps Empire again.

Good value & prompt delivery
Sourced shower using Google Shopping & placed order on Monday evening. Received email order confirmation immediately. Shower delivered on Wednesday evening.
Fortunately I received updates from the DPD App about the delivery. As not everyone uses this App, service could be improved if Taps Empire emailed delivery and tracking details to the customer directly.

Very minimal and strict return window
Very minimal and strict 14 days return window. Just a few days late and does not allow return anymore. Most other places allow 30 days. Make sure you will never, ever, need to return before placing any order.
But you know, you never know.

In all fairness, our 14 day returns policy is in line with most major online bathroom retailers. We make this clear on our website and this is not generally an issue. Although, we do try to assist our customers where possible, we are unable to identify your order details from the review, so cannot comment on the specific circumstances.

We are genuinely sorry for the inconvenience caused.
Unfortunately, the last one we had in stock was found damaged on picking. Furthermore, since the product had been discontinued, we had to cancel and refund your order.
Really helpful on the phone
Really helpful advice on the phone and they checked some spec with the warehouse and gave us the correct information before we bought as there were some conflicting details online elsewhere (including manufacturer's own site) regarding the product in question.

Even if you seethe item as “ in stock “ prepare for extra 8 weeks …
Although the item was shown as ready for dispatch 2-4 days they took extra 4 weeks assuring us that it would arrive. When the time passed, they just gave us the same story with additional 4 weeks. So we had to cancel. Absolute joke and time wasting

Poor Customer Service
The item was not dispatched within 24 hours as stated on the website, I therefore waited longer than expected for the part to arrive. The anonymous customer service agent (they do not sign off their email with a name) offered zero flexibility when I wanted to return an item merely 3 days after the 14 day returns period had ended. The item had not been used and was still completely in the same condition from when it was sent out and received.

Please note that we do not state on our website that items are dispatched within 24 hours. In fact, our website clearly states "Usually dispatched in 2 to 4 days" for the specific product ordered by you. Nevertheless, your order was received on 9 January and actually dispatched on 10 January.
Since your order was delivered on 11 January and you contacted us on 31 January to request a returns reference, we were unable to accept the return.
Repeat order, no complaints
Item arrived promptly and as described, have ordered replacement filter more than once now and never had any issues.

Dishonest and poor service experience
Dishonest and poor service experience. Said that the item was in stock then I had to chase to see what was happening to then be told it was going to be delayed by several weeks. As that approached I asked for an update and then got a dispatch notice so organised my plumber to fit then when arrived it was only part of the order but nobody thought to let me know this and the other part would be further delayed. You don't hear anything unless you chase them and one of the poorest experiences dealing with a company I've had.

We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused by this unforeseen instance. On receiving your order, we promptly notified you of a potential delay due to product unavailability and offered a full order refund as an option. Once the item arrived and was delivered, it was discovered that the product was missing a profile component due to a change in the manufacturer's specifications (which was not communicated to us prior to shipment).
We promptly informed you of this situation, explaining the need to order the missing part, which would incur a 7-10 day delay. We again offered a full refund for the delivered item as an option. You ultimately decided to retain the delivered item and requested a partial refund to compensate for the missing component, which was processed to your satisfaction.
Once again, we are sorry for all the inconvenience, as we were regrettably unable to deliver a hassle-free experience due to the exceptional circumstances.
