Beware - Tranzfar is a Potential Scammer

I strongly suggest that people should watch out for this company - Tranzfar; as it is displaying evidence of scamming.

My experience with them has been very bad. I sent UK£200 to Nigeria account on 2 June 2024 and it is yet to be refunded. Excuse has been having problems with their Nigerian clearing banks.

The promise has been getting it done in the next twenty four hours (24 Hrs). There is no Manager to talk to and no one will call you back even when promised.

I tried cancelling payment, on the 17 June 2024; three (3) to five (5) working days was promised, today is 30 June 2024 and that is still yet to be fulfilled.
I say watch, this is a sign of a downward trend for Tranzfar.

DO NOT USE Tranzfar Ltd For any future Money Remittance. They are grossly inefficient, incompetent and potentially fraudulent.

I sent the money via Tranzfar Ltd to a family member in Nigeria on 31/05/24. The funds were NOT remitted to the recipient even after one week of the transaction.

As Tranzfar Ltd had failed to remit the funds to the recipient, I then requested for a refund of the money on the 06/06/24.

As of today 26/06/24, I have emailed and phoned Tranzfar Ltd on several occasions regarding the above issue. They have NOT deemed it necessary to response, reply or answer. Tranzfar Ltd has neither refunded my money nor transferred the funds to the recipient as of today 26/06/24.

I am now treating this transaction as a potential financial fraud case. I have now taken the next step to go to Small Claims Court online and the Financial Conduct Authority.

DO NOT USE Tranzfar Ltd for any future Money Remittance. They are grossly inefficient, incompetent and potentially fraudulent.

Very shocking service and an atrocious…

Very shocking service and an atrocious experience. This business is not fit for purpose and therefore should cease being regulated by the FCA. Not sure if the company has a "Statement of Intent" and if it does it is clearly not up to operation standards. My account was debited for a transfer that should not take more than 24hrs, sadly it took 12days to credit the payee Nigerian account 09/06/2024 - 21/06/2024. During this period, there was no communication from the management as to reason of delay, phone numbers not responding. This is the 3rd time and last time. DO NOT TRY IT.

Worst money transfer service (Do not use)

I have been using Tranzfer for a while but their service has now gone very very bad. It’s been 5 days they took my money without it not getting to the recipient yet. I called their customer service yesterday 18/06/24 and they apologise, that the money will be sent to the recipient by the end of the day. Another day and the mo why still not sent. This is not the first also as this has happened more than three times to me and this will be the last. I sent an email to make a complaint and have not even got a reply back. If you are thinking of using them, I suggest you find another service because you might be waiting couple of weeks before they send your mo way to your recipient.
Their service is very appalling.

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE to send money. I would give No star if it was possible. The absolute worst service I have ever encountered. Sent money from UK to Nigeria on 30th May 2024 and for 5 days the recipient did not receive the funds. On the 4th of June I requested for a refund and on the 6th of June, I got a confirmation that my money would be refunded. It is now the 14th and I still have not received my refund.

" Tranzfar's service has dropped dramatically over the last few months"!"

I have been using "Tranzfar" for well over 5 years now and the service has always been very good overall, with excellent currency exchange rates, low charges, and quick transfers. However, the service over the last few months has dropped dramatically!!
Its gone from my girlfriend and her daughter in Nigeria getting her money in 4 hrs or less, to a timescale of 2, 3, 4 days, or even longer! It will be a week tomorrow since my last transaction, and she STILL hasn't got her money!
This is just not acceptable.....at all, especially if its money that is needed urgently for a medical problem, for example. The various transfers I have done over the last few months has caused us all sorts problems....and stress!
Tranzfar will not give me any straight answers, all they do is to keep apologising, and say its the "3rd party" they use that is causing the problems. Why they need to go through a "3rd party" and not directly to the respective banks, is beyond me.
Anyway, I shall not be using them again, until they inform me, personally, that this "3rd party issue" has been resolved.
If they fail to do so, then I shall never use them again!

Tranzfar, what is going on? It’s now been 10 days and the monies I sent have been taken out of my bank account and are yet to be delivered to the recipients. You guys have refused to pick up calls for many days now. At the very least the right thing to do would be to communicate effectively with your customers or return their money back to their bank accounts if you are unable to fulfil the required service. I have used your services for 7 years and it was great but the last two months hasn’t been good at all.

Bad service 2024

This use to be a good medium of sending money but the constant delays in sending money to recipient , money already payed for is getting over a week. The customer service have no clue or explanation what is going on and will keep you on for hours without picking up. I will stop using for now. Something strange going on

I transferred $1,000 to a Nigerian bank on June 1st, 2024 from my USA bank account. This transaction was supposed to process within 24 hours. Up till June 4th, 2024 this transfer has NOT been processed. I've written three emails and called the local contact number (+1 346 352 1589) and left over five voicemail messages but no one has bothered to get back to me. I finally called their UK phone number (+44 20 4532 3034) and spoke with a woman who claimed that:
1. Tranzfer Ltd is having "technical issues with our partner banks in Nigeria which has affected your transfer";
2. We promise your transfer will be processed within the next 24 hours, failing which you should request for a refund of your money. She claimed "the refund would be effected within a few days, depending on your bank."
3. The local USA contact phone number -- +1 346 352 1589 -- is no longer in operation. Yet, they haven't disabled it, and when you call, you are put on hold for over five minutes and then asked to leave a message which no one respond to.

The whole thing sounds fishy. PLEASE DO NOT TRANSACT BUSINESS WITH TRANZER LTD. I WILL BE GOING AHEAD TO FILE FORMAL COMPLAINTS AGINST THE COMPANY BY TOMORROW, JUNE 5TH, 2024 IF MY TRANSFER HAD NOT BEEN PROCESSED BY THAT TIME.

Tranzfar are SCAMMERS! AVOID!!!!

I initiated 2 transactions from Nigeria to the U.K. totalling just under 12 million Naira which should have cleared into my U.K. account within 3 working days. After 2 weeks of waiting, calling, emailing my money never arrived. Then I asked for a refund which I was told would take 1-5 working days to clear. It is now 6 working days with no trace of my money. When you call them to complain, they put you on silence so they don’t have to listen to you. They give you a script that says “be rest assured your payment will be completed by the end of day” Everyday. They have no integrity credibility. They have stolen my money and refused to return. I’m about to start a legal process against them, claiming for damages as well.

BE WARNED! Do not use this company!!!!!

I wish there was something like Zero…

I wish there was something like Zero star because 1 star is too much for this horrible platform. I am speaking from personal experience, i have never in my life seen a platform operate like its been run by cartels who dont care about feedback, its now getting close to a month since i have been unable to complete a transfer out of my account, the customer care should be voted as the most horrible in the world. i am still wondering if FCA is doing her job because platforms like this shouldn't be operating, something needs to be done urgently before this platform starts making people commit suicide, if anything happens to me hold this platform responsible, my life savings used for my trades is been held with no justifiable reason
