⭐ Bearer of bad news / Dodgy refund policies – Avoid!

Absolute nightmare dealing with this company. I ordered a pair of wing mirrors (Order #100037994), but they only delivered the driver's side. When I contacted them, they admitted the passenger side mirror was out of stock and missing from their warehouse.

Instead of doing the decent thing and issuing an immediate refund for the missing item (£113.10), they forced me onto an internal "waiting queue" and claimed they have a 28-day processing policy for refunds. They are essentially using customer money as an interest-free loan while wasting your time with terrible customer service friction.

I refused to play their games and initiated a formal Chargeback dispute through my bank (Lloyds), who instantly returned my money because the case was so clear-cut. Don't let them hold your cash hostage. If you are stuck in their fake "28-day queue," bypass their customer service entirely and go straight to your bank to claw your money back. Avoid this company at all costs!

I made a purchase for a wing mirror before seeing all the bad reviews.
I checked a mirror was compatible to my car with blind spot monitoring they stated yes never had an issue with all they have sold. Item arrives straight away I notice the mirror is a cheap quality and a inferior product and the connecting block was not the same the dash lite up immediately with fauIt codes refering to.the mirror. I requested a refund and a return of the item that in its self is a rigmarole. Eventually Item is returned and they use any excuse not to refund in a reasonable amount of time and breach consumer rights legislation. Im not talking just a few pound item.was in excess off £330 .
I made endless attempts to contact and complain. Extremely rude staff and in the end I informed them.i would be reporting to trading standards. Joshua from the company responded with 'we will look forward to hearing from our local trading standards agency.. absoute disgrafull customer service.
The wing mirror man company is a dormant company of companies house and not trading they go under the name now of buy online limited... save your money save all the hassle trying to get refunds and please purchase elsewhere.

Would not replace a faulty mirror glass, telling me to take it somewhere to get it checked at my cost! Customer services attitude was to put it lightly absolutely disgusting. Please everyone avoid. Had to by another mirror glass from elsewhere.

Bad product appalling service

To be honest i wish i had read the reviews first. Received the mirror, the blind spot indicator did not work, i had to fit the mirror to the car to find that out. Sent it back in its original packing except the box ( The box i sent it back was better and stronger. They refused to send me a new one due to it not coming back in its original box! also because i had fitted it to the car. They sent the original one back to me, how is that for logic and customer service. Do not use this company.

Product was returned unused and the refund process was unnecessarily complicated. Communication was slow and the final refund amount was lower than expected. Eventually the refund was received, but overall the experience was disappointing. I would be cautious before ordering again.

WMM people

I can only speak from my own experience, these people were excellent, they first sent an email to make sure I had the correct mirror and the correct colour code, and the remains of the mirror I had fitted the description they sent. They let me know when it went to the paint ,then again when they posted it. I fitted it to my car and all is spot on. Thank you
I would not hesitate to use these people again..

Outstanding service !!

Outstanding service !!! Someone smashed the wing cover off of my new Vauxhall Grandland. Vauxhall could not get the cover and so I was staring down the face of a new complete unit at £580 plus vat plus fitting !!!! I called Wingmirror Man and gave all the details. Within a hour I had a phone call back saying they can source the genuine part ( although Vauxhall said they couldn’t !! ) and I could have it paint matched. So for about £110 I had it all done a delivered within 10 days. Just popped it straight on the car and looks perfect. I cannot recommend this company highly enough - amazing customer service, great communication, superb quality product, all for really reasonable price 10/10

Needed heated wing mirror glass with…

Needed heated wing mirror glass with blind spot detection and a cover for the rear of my wing mirror following an unfortunate collision with a pheasant. All other parts of my mirror were in good working order and rather than go with a bodywork company that were charging upwards of £1100 for replacements I decided to give Wing Mirror Man a go. I'm very glad I did. The only drawback for me was the fact that even though, at the time of ordering, the website stated that these items were in stock which unfortunately they weren't (one of my items needed to be ordered in). I didn't find this out obviously until after I had paid so I queried it with customer services who replied in good time but gave a lame excuse before advising me that they were closing my complaint without giving me an opportunity to reply. Thankfully after a couple of weeks my item was in stock and my order progressed as expected after this. I had the wing mirror cap painted (this service is offered at a relatively small cost) and it appears to be a good match. All parts delivered yesterday, fitted by myself today and looks just like new. Not bad for less than £150. Great service & parts ever if the delivery was slightly delayed 👍🏻

Took my money 6 weeks ago

Update - i applied for a refund and received it within a week.
Took my money 6 weeks ago. Item out of stock but due in 12 days ago and "will be sent out immediately ". Still not received said item and not yet received a response to my email sent yesterday. I didn't set up an account as onky ordering the once yet to apply for a refund i need to log in to my account.
Will be contacting Trading Standards

Good service

No issues. Had a good quote, regular updates & good delivery time. Wing mirror cover fitted my 2012 Mazda 6 with no problems & paint appears a very good match.

Very pleased with the service provided

I didn't see all the negative reviews before ordering a replacement wing mirror. I'm glad I hadn't as they would probably have put me off, my experience has been outstanding. I ordered the part. Had questions which I addressed thru live chat. They were answered correctly. I had the plastic painted and it was delivered within 5 working days of order. It has been fitted and works fine. So my experience was excellent and I would recommend them. Not least because I saved around £900 by not going thru the dealer!

Sent me the wrong part

Sent me the wrong part, they insisted several times it was the right part and when I provided evidence of it not fitting, the ghosted me. Followed up with support and was kicked off the chat. Will have to charge back if no communication is made.

Support team member very very rude.

I placed an order which i had to cancel within hours. Went through the returns process with a guy on the sales team who assured me that he would put a pause on the order and sent me a link to do returns form - Sales team were fine.
Problem i had was with the service team when i chased up the refund. The guy i spoke to was rude and condesending at every step, when i asked for help and ruined any hope of ever using this company again. When i said to him how disappointed in his customer service and would probably never use them again, actually ended the call with 'boo hoo... whatever shall we do...'. Awful person.

Horrendous customer service

Horrendous customer service, the manager of this company was physically laughing at me on the phone, and when I asked him to stop laughing, he said he would not stop laughing at something he found funny.

My mother ordered a wing mirror from this company, which did not arrive in time for when she needed it, and requested a refund. The refund request was submitted and the refund did not arrive in the aforementioned time frame.

When we called to discuss this, he said the refund request was never submitted. We never received a confirmation e-mail but we get the screen saying the request had been submitted. Something obviously went wrong somewhere, easily fixable, and it worked the second time. There could be many reasons that it did not work the first time, and that no e-mail was received the first time, but it could have been dealt with in a nicer way - as the customer is always right.

However he used a very rude tone of voice, and the fact he laughed and said he would not stop laughing was so incredibly rude. I asked for his name to include in this review and he said no. There is a name I’ve seen come up on lots of the negative reviews, so it was probably the same person. Definitely avoid this company at all costs.

Scam Scam Scam

My father ordered a mirror on the 18/03/26 . On the 19/03 they notified him it was out of stock . Said refund would be processed . Still no refund ,all communication being ignored . A quick google shows Buyitonline Ltd and Windmirrormanltd are both dissolved . Avoid avoid avoid .

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!! This is our timeline of one lie after another!! Had I read these reviews first I never would have used them.
When the item was ordered and paid for it on 20.01.2026 it stated on their website that the item was IN STOCK
• We received no communication from them accepting the order – no email confirmation
• We contacted them via online chat on 21.01.2026 as we were concerned that the order had not been placed. Josh confirmed no order had been placed despite the payment being taken out of our paypal account on 20.01.2026. We had to prove via screenshots that the payment had in fact been taken.
• We had another online chat on 22.01.2026 where it was confirmed that the order had been located and was with Royal Mail – blatant lie! Again Josh - great at misinforming!!
• We asked for a tracking number but none was provided
• I contacted Paypal to open a dispute resolution – then WIngmorror man proceeded to place the order on 27.01.2026 – a whole week after taking the payment
• We contacted them again via online chat and asked for the order to be cancelled and were assured it would be cancelled.- again BY JOSH!!!!! THIS DID NOT HAPPEN
• We then purchased the item elsewhere as we got nowhere with this company.
• On 22/02/2026 PayPal contacted us to tell us that this Company had informed them the item had been dispatched – this should have been cancelled weeks before
• Item was received by us on Friday 6th March 2026 some 6.5 weeks after the order was placed and paid for. It remained unopened in the original packaging.
• They declined our return request due to the open case with PayPal but said I could return the item under my own steam
• Item returned via Special Signed for delivery at a cost of £16.00 For delivery on Thursday 12th March 2026 - item recieved by them on this date.
• Got a message from these saying they were not accepting the return so would be sending it back to me! So i went back to PAYPAL and opened a new dispute - The customer service from Josh at this Company is shocking!! Lie after lie and falsely advertising items in stock that clearly ARE NOT!!!!!!!!!
I finally got an award in my favour from PAYPAL yesterday and a full refund!
Save your time/energy/money and patience and shop elsewhere! Yes you will be paying more but at least you will be getting some sort of actual service!If i could give a minus star rating I would. What should have been a simple transaction turned into a 10 week farce!!

Please Please don't use

Please Please don't use. Ordered part on website in stock. Received phone call not in stock they would have to order in, one plus weeks delivery. Please refund monies as urgent need to find another. No problem will return money 5-7 day's. Hadn't received funds by 7 day's. Phoned to be told no payment received to them by me so couldn't refund although money had been taken from my bank. Had to involved bank to recover.
