My mother who is in her 80’s with dementia had a sales guy be really pushy and she was confused, next thing there taking £9.99 from her account on a direct debit. I emailed them and also cancelled my mums Direct debit. They then called her again asking her to contact the bank and reinstate it. Surely as a company you have training to recognise when someone is confused and doesn’t understand you. If you don’t then I suggest you put in as company policy. I have sent an email but didn’t respond. So be careful with this company especially with older relatives.

I took my laptop in because it wouldn’t turn on and I urgently needed it for work. They fixed it the same day at a very reasonable price. I’d definitely recommend them to others—absolute lifesavers!

I have been with WISE GUYS since 2016 and I cannot recommend them highly enough. The staff, whoever you speak to, are just brilliant. Not only extremely knowledgeable, but also very patient and polite and have often gone outside of their remit to offer advice regarding intended purchases. Worth every penny of the membership fee. I am totally disgusted with the level / lack of service I have received from wise guys. I received a letter in the post a few weeks ago advising me of a DD being setup and that the first payment would be taken on 21/01/2026. However I have no recollection or reason to take out this service. I have tried to contact wise guys on several occasions and have been left hanging on the phone. I called wise guys on their 01202 number told them of my predicament, they told me that they could not do anything for me as they were the shop support but they would pass my details onto my details onto customer support. It is now they 22/01/2026, wise guys have taken a DD and whilst I am writing this review I have been on the phone to customer services for 1 hour and 40 minutes.

This goes against everything they are trying to promote on their website and I quote;

“People Over Profit” - We care more about helping you than making money. This simply isn’t the case as they cannot be bothered to call you back
“Reliability You Can Count On” - We're here when you need us, every time. Again not the case, as when I’ve reached out to them they have not picked up.
“Care About You” - We build relationships, not transactions. I’m not sure how they can claim this statement.

I will be cancelling my DD forthwith as well as writing reviews on other platforms as the level of service is outrageous.

I had an issue with my older Iphone, it was stolen and then run over by a car where it was dumped. Back and front were both smashed, and it was bent like a banana, WiseGuys replaced the broken screen, and managed to make the thing work long enough to swap everything on to my new Iphone, all whilst taking time to explain what they were doing. It took quite a time to transfer everything. After more than a couple of hours it was done, and all they wanted to charge me was the fixed charge for replacing the screen (in this case about £15!). This was service above and beyond what anyone would describe as reasonable, with professional efficiency and good humour. Get your phone fixed here!!!

Iphone 12 which I thought needed a new charge port as it was not charging constantly. They looked at it, recognised a common problem of having some fluff stuck in it - cleaned it and didn't even charge me. I have used Wise Guys a few times in the past, always really friendly, helpful fast and superb quality of work. Highly recommended

My mum's phone because it was being plagued with pop ups and dodgy apps after she downloaded a blood pressure monitor app advertised on Facebook, rendering it unusable. I wasn't able to delete them so I took her phone to Wise guys, half an hour before closing time, as they've fixed my laptop before. They sorted it within 10 minutes and refused to take any money for the service. What a lovely bunch of people! They never let me down.

I am very pleased with the service I had from Wise Guys. I am very impressed with Jaz he arrived at 9.45 I thought to pick up my mobile phone and lap top. He managed to fix it all within three quarters of an hour. Wise Guys prices are very reasonable. I wont hesitate to use them again and recommended them to my family and friends. Many thanks Jaz

Excellent service- was disappointed when the xchurch shop closed but there was no need as they collected my device at 9.30 took it away fixed it and bought it back by 12.45. Amazing! Thank you

My father has been having a direct debit taken from his account has never signed up for this the bank is now aware and we will be informing the police as there is no paperwork or emails to confirm anything and he has never signed up for this and would never do anything remotely as does not even own a computer

Been signed up 9.99 for dd to this company that I've never heard of.

Prompt action, problem sorted, excellent customer service and value for money. I will definiterly recommend them.

Been taking nearly £40 a quarter from my mums account despite her having NO RECORD or confirmation of setting this up. Direct debit was cancelled and Wiseguys called my mum and REFUSED to accept her cancelling payment and have reinstated the direct debit despite being told she wants to cancel. Have cancelled this second direct debit and will be contacting the police and financial ombudsman about this clearly fraudulent company!!!!!!

My wife first of all had her laptop repaired and some tech inside it upgraded. WiseGuys did such a fantastic job that I then asked them to build me a new computer for my work. I gave Jamie the spec of what I needed the computer to do. He then built me from scratch equivalent to a gaming machine at an affordable price. My new computer is totally amazing. We stumbled across Wiseguys by chance, but now would not go anywhere else and would not hesitate to recommend them. Their skills and ethics stand out by a very long way.

This is a brilliant company who go above and beyond with their customer service. I took my husbands computer in and they check it and found nothing wrong and made no charge. I will tell all my friends about them. Last week I dropped my laptop and broke the screen and in a few days it was replaced good as new and at a very reasonable price.
