It was presented immaculatley and the service record was a thing of beauty
They sent me a video of the car before we came down to see it that was really useful
Service was great and that they even came to find us when we got lost looking for the garage
I would not hesiate to recommend these guys

I have been a customer of Woodside garage for a few years now.
Rob, Luke and the team go above and beyond for their customers. How do I know this?

I know this as the other day, My car had a mechanical fault. It was stuck at the traffic lights, at the Queens bridge in New Mills. (How embarrassing for both myself and my passenger)
I couldn't move forward nor backwards and I was blocking the right hand lane, as the electric handbrake had stuck on.

I phoned Woodside garage up and explained the dilemma to Rob. Within 15 minutes-The longest time of my life! Luke came racing up to save the day. We Limped the car back to the garage and the team even stayed late to correct the faults on the car, so that it was ready to collect the next day.

You can rest assured that this garage really does look after their customers.

Woodside has made everything right and have made tremendous efforts to improve their service. They are committed to honest customer service and I can recommend them.

After booking my MOT through Servicing Stop, I was contacted by the garage owner, who claimed to have found faults with the headlight and tyre monitoring system. He then attempted to upsell additional “investigation work” for faults that did not exist. To add insult to injury, he tried to build rapport by stating he was a Sikh/Singh and was “doing me a favour.” This was an offensive and manipulative attempt to leverage religious identity for financial gain — completely unacceptable and unethical.

I refused the additional charges and took my car to a completely independent MOT test the very next morning, where it passed with zero issues, zero advisories, and none of the alleged faults. This confirms beyond any doubt that the garage you assigned attempted to fabricate problems to extort money from me.

This is a serious breach of trust and an alarming reflection on the type of businesses you are partnering with. They are clearly scamming innocent customers with fabricated failures and inflated quotes, which could financially and emotionally impact less experienced or vulnerable individuals

My son takes his Astra to Woodside for any issue's and MOT has never had a bad experience prices are always fair and I find them to be very honest on pricing today is a classic example he had clutch issues last night on the way home phone call this morning and straight in to have have a look over the car hopefully they find nothing major but what a great service Thank you Woodside and your team

I’m so glad I found this place. As a woman, it can be challenging visiting garages — too often, they try to find unnecessary ‘faults’ with the car. But at Woodside Motors, I’ve always been treated with honesty and respect. I’ve been getting my car serviced and MOT’d here for years. They collect and drop off the car, and I always receive a fair, honest outcome. I highly recommend them to friends and family — truly trustworthy!

Broke down on the motorway and my steering completely stopped working! 😭 AA took my car here and they worked on the power steering pump, tracking & did an oil service. My poor old mini is working perfectly now🥰

The person who owns and sells the cars is very polite and respectful. We recently bought a Nissan juke 1.5dci. He put a brand new mot and it. He fixed all the problems the mot put up plus all advisories on. Great service

If I could I would give no stars. Was referred to this company with little choice. I had no issues at all with my Ford KA so when I got a bill for over £1000 I was shocked. I was more shocked when My car straight from the garage made noises it had never made before. Back it went and more and more problems exhaust etc. This was all absolute rubbish ! the photos them sent me I am certain were not from my car as I had looked under the car just a few days prior. I asked for the car to be returned at 5pm and I am still waiting at work. NEVER USE THIS GARAGE

I took my car in for a service and MOT, where it failed on the rear suspension bushes and handbrake efficiency. While i was expecting some costs, was shocked by the quote of over £1,000 for repairs. The major cost was the replacement of rear brake calipers, which were reportedly seized, and priced at £330 each. This was puzzling since you had recently had new rear discs and pads fitted by the same garage (Woodside) just a month earlier. In addition, the suspension bushes were quoted at around £350.

After receiving this high estimate, i decided to take it elsewhere for an MOT test, The experience left me questioning the diagnosis, especially regarding the brake calipers seizing so soon after recent work.
I found the quote excessive and perhaps felt that the garage was not being transparent or realistic in their assessment.
and it passed with no advisories...now im questioning whether it was actually serviced or i just payed £240 for them to stamp my service book.

Used this garage via Servicing Stop. Was sold and charged for a collection and return service to the MOT, tried to charge over £3k for rectification work (hugely inflated charges) and then refused to return the vehicle when we wouldn't commit to this.
The garage also ran up parking fines whilst the vehicle was in their possession (Servicing Stop took forever to inform us where the car had been taken) which they are refusing to reimburse us for.
Absolute scam.

*UPDATE* this company is (a year on) trying to get my - genuine - review removed by Trustpilot. To be clear, I have the receipts/record to prove this awful experience was with you. Trying to remove genuine reviews here isn’t the hallmark of a trustworthy company - better to focus on learning from what I’ve said and apologising?!

HORRIFIC. Do not use them I used through ServiceStop and would never use either again. Got a quote for MOT inflated by hundreds of pounds. Garage called me when I rejected it to explain that apparently Servicing Stop inflates their prices for commission. They offered a new quote which was still far higher than other garages I asked. Part of the service is that you - apparently - get car collected and delivered back same day. DON’T BELIEVE IT! My car was supposed to be back at 6pm friday, and I’d explained I desperately needed it for first thing in morning - THEY NEVER SHOWED! Didn’t bother phoning to tell me so I waited in all evening! Was no way of contacting them their email just bounces back. I phoned this morning at 8am opening to explain - I desperately need the car back - the man was INCREDIBLY rude and told me to call back ‘when the woman is in’ at 9am. They treat customers like dirt and really cannot afford to be doing that! HORRENDOUS SERVICE. DO NOT TRUST THEM.

Fantastic garage, always great service. Honest service and they don't charge through the nose for it. 100% recommended. Used the for years and won't change.

Absolute s—t show of a company. Got my campervan towed there as broke down. Basically it sat on there forecourt for 3 weeks and they never touched it. After calling in various times to be told yes it will be sorted and still didn’t touch it. I went in one morning to be met by some melt in the office, hoody up and sunglasses on, never even bothered to remove his sunglasses while spewing out more lies. How these cowboys are still in business I have no idea. Never using these muppets again
