Not covered under warranty
I was initially very happy with the jewellery I purchased. The necklace chain unfortunately broke and I wrongly assumed this would be covered within the 12 months warranty to be informed that "manufacturer faults" to the chain were not covered by the warranty.
I am also disappointed with the customer service, having initially sent an email and receiving no response, it took a follow up and a phone call over the course of a month before someone finally responded and informed me it wasn't covered under warranty I should like to state during the phone call I was informed it would be covered. will not be buying from here again

We are sorry to hear that you are unhappy with this situation, we did what we can by reaching out to the brand you purchased to see if they would be able to replace the broken chain though unfortunately chain breakages fall outside of the brands warranty which is a month guarantee on chains to cover if there ever is a manufacturing fault.
Unfortunately as the purchase was just short of a year from when you contacted which means the brand were unable to help. However we would still be able to help with a replacement gold vermeil chain from our own collection as per our previous communication.
We again apologise for the delay in confirmation on this though we had to wait for the brands confirmation on whether they could help.

We've just purchased a beautiful necklace 24 hours ago and it is now sitting here with us at home. It is beautifully wrapped and protected, includes a polishing cloth and care instructions and the necklace itself is stunning. Will happily use the YJC again in the future. We're very happy.

Exemplary service
I initially purchase an amber pendant for Valentines in 2024 and it recently went faulty losing part of the enclosing silver cage. Yorkshire replaced the item very quickly. Couldn't be happier with the service. Excellent company to deal with and Robert Metcalf in particular was very helpful.
