Company sold me digital download advertised as working with X-Plane 12. It did not work, then company refused to refund money. I had to file dispute through my bank to get my money back. I rate this company as "dishonest."

Tried to contact the store numerous times to update my details and regain access to many hundreds of $ of addons. Zero response.

Man, I wish I've seen these reviews before I tried buying it. I heard that XPlane 12 was more realistic than MFS, so I recently tried buying it and the customer service has been awful! After paying for XPlane 12 the first time I didn't get my product key sent to me. After contacting them, they responded the following day saying that they had no record of the payment even though it was deducted from my checking account. When I tried with a credit card the same thing happened, but this time they refunded my two initial payments back to me and said try again (refunding one and sending me the product key would have been nice though). After trying a third time I still didn't get a product key and now they aren't replying to my emails. I told them it wasn't in my spam mail and even showed them screenshots of the payments withdrawn from my account, but since they refuse to respond I'm going to have to file a fraud claim with my bank. So if you are thinking about trying XPlane 12, proceed with caution because if you have any issues then good luck getting any help.

Edit: Now, a day later, XPlane removed the refund and now they have three of my submitted payments and they refuse to respond. Now I have to file a fraud claim against them. Hopefully other people have better experiences.

I have been on this forum forums x-plane org since 2013 and with each passing day the administrators become more restrictive and arrogant and more than anything Nicolas was the one who suspended me. They think they are superior and that bothers them. A person's humility is worth more than an attitude like the one they had.

In the month of July 2024 I made several criticisms of the aircraft developer for X-Plane and it is called Flight Factor. Flight Factor has not updated its airplanes for years and after launching them for sale they usually update them very little and then abandon them. I made this comment and many more describing this problems and scam asking for help in the forum and in Flight Factor technical support and a refund to the developer flightfactor aero and I never received help to solve the problems and the response from both is arrogant.

By criticizing Flight Factor within the forum several times due to the problems I had and they were never solved. I bought all the Flight Factor airplanes as they came out and know what they are like. Nicolas, one of the administrators, suspended me and after they lifted my suspension they told me that I cannot publish anything without his supervision.

There are forums where you can give your opinion freely without censorship from anyone and it is clear that forums x-plane org are violent and arrogant and want to silence their users. If you think differently from what they think, they suspend you. If you have a bad opinion about a product that they defend, they will suspend you. If you give a bad opinion in the Flight Facto forum, they delete your comments and then suspend you.

I want to clarify that I have videos and screenshots of everything and I never disrespect anyone. I always did it with education and courage. They disrespected me because of how they addressed me.

This forum that I talk about and mention remains active thanks to the great contribution of all its users and a great contribution of high-quality freeware. For example Zibo or mSparky and many more. I only mention these two as an example.

this company is a scam from top to bottom ...it censored me saying i was trolling with no explanation what the direct charge was...my questions were about why my xplane sim was not functioning properly ...as if i didn't have that right. this doesn't portray xplane in a favorable light and i don't think that is xplane's desire to be portrayed in this manner

The owner of the org. suspended me for "abusive behaviour" just because I gave a bad review on a freeware 747-100. All I said was that this addon would be amazing for XP9, and the cockpit is ok but could use some work, and that this isn't XP9 anymore and the liveries are poorly made which they are. The owner responds by saying that it was not designed for XP12 and I should make my own if I am going to complain. I have been banned for 3 days for this bull and I find this behaviour unacceptable for a site owner and this is very stupid. This is not abusive behaviour, and I was nice to explain what the plane needed to be improved and the good things. I am not complaining, I am merely stating my opinion. The owner, Nicholas, I find very brain-dead. The site is also very prone to not working, and they ban you when you can't even explain yourself. Avoid these nitwits!

The website is making it very hard to make an account.

I have accidentally cancelled the registration and since then it wont let me do anything else than showing the registration page.

Tried to buy several items and get help from people in regards to some addons. Found who ever runs the site to be very RUDE, unprofessional and down right aggressive. really bad website. will never shop there or use the forum i also read some reviews and see there guys are pure scam artists. to bad lots of developers will loose money now as people will move to pirated content because of how they run their stuff. I think they need some training. I will also be reviewing their store.

Horrible company and might be a scam this is what happened.

So they had a “sale” I tried to buy a plane from a developer. I put in my info and credit card and it all goes through. I download the plane but can’t activate, no serial or anything. Then a few hours later I get a weird email from them saying “Hey, your billing and home address are both from CA, send us pictures of your ID so we can address the discrepancy“

Sounded like a scam and a half, both my address is matched and credit card went through with no issues, I buy loads with my card and never an issue and now they want pictures of my ID that has my license number and address. Couple hours after that boom order canceled and now several days later still no refund! I filed a police report and a report with credit card company. These guys are a joke it seems, they want to collect peoples personal and private info and expect people to send it all over email and cannot guarantee privacy and confidentiality not to mention its not a huge company so huge possibility of getting hacked and they can’t protect my info.

Seems like they scam people or just refuse to loose money on fake sales or collect heeps of peoples private info and sale it. Of course I tried to warn people on the site but right away they banned me. But it’s ok I’m already back on site warning people in private messages about what happen and will post reviews of my experience and how I was treated. Not to mention 90% of content is all online I was told by one of their users.

Stay away from them and watch what you send. very bad experience with them. I didn’t even get an email from them explaining why they need what they need and what happen. Just a “oh you won’t send us your private and confidential information that will ban u and not refund money”. Very rude!

X-Plane.org has a great selection of topics and addons.
The x-plane.org store has some of the finest addons for x-plane at a rather competitive price compared to other websites.
However, they tend to be unclear with their rules and when you get in trouble, whether you want it or not, you can barely say anything to explain yourself and they ban you even though you haven't done anything wrong per say. Also, when you ask for a product key to be reactivated, they believe you stole it. It actually happened to me and some friends because we used our keys so much that we all ended up running out of activations.
I have sent them emails in order to see if I could have my addons reactivated but no response.
You will find great addons and help from website members but the community leaders aren't that nice at times and the customer for the store service is really bad.
To avoid if possible, mostly the store.
