Having checked our records, we can see that your gift card code was successfully sent to the email address used for your order at 6:02pm on 12 October. Please do check your spam, junk and promotions folders, as some email providers automatically filter gift card codes and digital vouchers into these folders.

Absolutely awful. Customer service takes forever and a day to get back to you, I wrote what was wrong on the live chat and they emailed days later asking what was up.. read the chat?!
Also don't bother with the gaming cards. I got it for robux and you can't even use it on that let alone use it on PS4 games. Pointless!! £20 wasted on utter crap.

We would also like to clarify that the YouChoose Gaming card is a multi-retailer gift card that can be exchanged for a range of participating gaming and entertainment brands. As such, we do not agree that your £20 has been "wasted", as the credit can still be exchanged for one of the participating retailers available on the card.

Absolutely shocking, I registered the card I was promised to get steam games, so I tried to get fc27, and they only have the Xbox version. 50 pounds wasted on a bunch of scumbags that love to overcomplicate things. Won’t be buying any gift card from here again

We would also like to clarify that we do not state anywhere that FC27 is available for Steam. The YouChoose Gaming range offers a selection of gaming brands, gift cards and digital gaming titles, but not every title is available across every platform. In this case, FC27 was available for Xbox, not Steam.

Misleading
**Misleading, restrictive and genuinely feels like a waste of money**
I would strongly recommend NOT buying a YouChoose gift card for anyone who games on PC/Steam.
The choice is far more limited than I expected. You cannot use the balance as Steam credit, and many of the games available through the service are overpriced compared with simply buying them directly from Steam, where they are often discounted.
The process is also unnecessarily complicated. You have to create an account, log in and agree to third-party consent through the website just to use a gift card.
In my case, I couldn't find anything I actually wanted to spend the money on because Steam is my main gaming platform. Rather than waste the balance, I decided to give it to a family member. Even that became difficult because I had already linked/locked the gift card to my account. I then had to purchase the item through my own account and send the details/screenshots to them instead.
A gift card should give the recipient freedom in that area and make buying something easier. This did the complete opposite.
**Limited choice, poor value, unnecessary account requirements and far too restrictive.**
The marketing gives the impression that you're receiving a flexible gaming gift, but in reality there are significant limitations on where and how the money can be spent.
**1 star. I would not recommend this product and would much rather someone gave cash, Steam credit, or a gift card directly for the platform the recipient actually uses.**

Disappointing , was brought a gift card from last year for my birthday that I wasn’t ever able to use , I went on

Limited choice, overpriced, broken and pushy
The gift card I bought gave entirely the wrong impression about what kind of products I could buy. I wanted to exchange this card for Steam credit, but this was not an option. As a matter of fact, very few of the options promoted on the card were available on the site, and the ones that were ended up being very overpriced. I had to sign up for an account to get my credit, putting in unnecessary personal details they didn't need and agree to contact from third party sellers just to exchange for a code I could use on a real website. To make matters worse, the site was broken for two days just as I was trying to redeem the card, making me think I was going to be out of pocket. I'll never buy another card like this again, especially not from this company.

100% not user friendly
Got it as a gift. Don't like the 'choosing earlier, what I want to spend money on. It's too much. On top of it, login to my account it took me 2days and 29 codes sent to me before I was able to make my decision. Absolutely not recommend.

The purpose of a multi-retailer gift card such as YouChoose is to offer recipients choice, flexibility and security, allowing them to decide where they would like to spend their gift rather than being restricted to a single retailer.
Your YouChoose card has a 12-month validity period from the date of purchase, giving you plenty of time to decide how you would like to use it. Once you exchange your YouChoose credit for a retailer gift card, that code will have its own validity period, which begins from the date of exchange. This means customers have ample time both to choose their preferred retailer and to spend their voucher.

Overall I've had a poor experience with youchooseagift gaming voucher. There was a bug in the system which meant that I couldn't spend my gaming balance on anything. This was fixed a few days after chatting with the AI agent and a real person emailed me back to say they were working on the issue. The main problem I have with this voucher is the website itself. Everytime you log in you have to do a catcha puzzle, which is unnecessarily time consuming. Then for the gaming category they only present around 90 items to choose from, of which the only one I chose was unavailable. I was pointed to a button at the top that revealed thousands of more choices, but it's really hard to navigate around - there are just 8 games shown on the page, and almost 600 pages to click through to see them all. These games are in no apparent order and include DLCs and bonus content, like skins etc, so they're not all all games. The games are priced more than what I found on the steam store, so value is poor. The only currency I could change to was Xbox currency. It wouldn't let me exchange my gaming balance for Nintendo estore credit. There is no option for Steam credit.
The website needs to be much easier to navigate and improve value by allowing voucher credit to be exchanged for major gaming platforms like steam, GOG or EpicGames.

With regard to Nintendo eShop credit, this is currently not available on the YouChoose Gaming card. This is a brand decision rather than a platform limitation, which is why Nintendo gift cards may be available on some of our other YouChoose products but not within the Gaming range.

Have to create an account which I don’t want and give all my details. Very long winded process, once claimed voucher to use when I go shopping next week and find out it’s already expired, I don’t want to have to go through lots of emails to find the voucher on the day, I want it ready, but can’t use it now as it’s expired, so the company keeps the money paid for the voucher and I get nothing.
