We're sorry to hear about your experience, however our records do not indicate that your funds have been lost.

Your JD Sports code was originally sent at 4:31pm on 3rd October, just 2 minutes after your order was successfully processed. After you contacted our Customer Services team to advise that you had not received the email, Ryan resent the code on 6th October at 9:17am.

Having spoken with Ryan, your account of the conversation does not reflect his recollection and there appears to have been a misunderstanding. Ryan advised that when you contacted us, he located your order and resent the JD Sports code as requested. Following this, you queried a £0 balance, which Ryan understood to be a query relating to the balance of the JD Sports voucher itself rather than your YouChoose account. As JD Sports manages and maintains its own gift card platform, we are unable to access their systems to view voucher activity or balances, which is why he directed you to JD Sports for assistance.

We also understand that you have been speaking with Caitlin from our Customer Services team this morning, who has offered to send the code for a third time to an alternative email address in case your email provider is filtering or blocking the voucher emails. We would always recommend checking your spam, junk and promotions folders, as gift card emails can sometimes be automatically filtered there.

Our team remains happy to assist and will continue working with you to ensure you receive your voucher.

The security checks and CAPTCHA process are in place to help protect customers' gift card balances from fraud and automated attacks. They are usually completed quickly, but we appreciate that repeated CAPTCHA requests can be frustrating if something isn't working as expected.

As a two-step multi-retailer gift card, YouChoose is designed to give recipients flexibility and choice. We currently offer over 170 brands and products across a wide range of categories including retail, dining, entertainment, travel and more, whilst on the gaming page we offer ovre 8000 gaming specific products.

Regarding the gaming range, while we do not currently offer every gaming brand available on the market, we provide thousands of gaming titles, the majority of which are Steam compatible. Nintendo gift cards are available on other YouChoose products, however Nintendo has chosen not to make its gift cards available through the gaming catalogue. As a result, this is a retailer decision rather than a restriction imposed by YouChoose.

We appreciate that the available gaming options did not meet your expectations on this occasion, but we're grateful for your feedback and will continue to review our range based on customer demand and partner availability.

We'd also like to reassure you that we want customers to use and enjoy their YouChoose gift card. Your YouChoose card can be exchanged for one or more brand codes at any point within 12 months of purchase, giving recipients plenty of time to decide what they would like. Once exchanged, the selected retailer's own gift card expiry terms apply, so there is no need to rush into making a choice.

The purpose of a multi-retailer gift card is to give the recipient the freedom to choose something that's right for them, rather than the sender having to guess. We appreciate that this won't be everyone's preference, but many customers value having the flexibility to select from a broad range of brands.

Regarding specific brands such as Boots and Superdrug, participation in the YouChoose programme is entirely at the discretion of individual retailers and brands. While we would love to offer every retailer, brands must choose to join the programme themselves, and unfortunately not all retailers participate.
