A ridiculous way of using a gift card
A ridiculous way of using a gift card. Creating an account and having to order your e-gift makes it more complex. The email with the actual e-gift card took ages to come through. Thankfully the lovely person on the till was patient enough to wait. Will not be using again. Would select zero star if possible.
Took far longer than 3 minutes for the code to arrive! (I can ask M&S for the CCTV). Also had to create an account, "order" the gift card I wanted then waited for 2 emails to arrive, one was the order confirmation and the second was the order code!

Being an older customer I found the process of using the gift card more difficult than I would like. I prefer a card I can just present to a shop without the faff of going online. However I eventually used the card to buy a lovely gift so I got there in the end.

Before contacting support, please ensure you're using the digital code from the second email you received and not the order number contained in the confirmation email, as these are different. Some email providers can also automatically filter digital codes into spam or junk folders, so it's worth checking there if you cannot locate the code.
If you've confirmed you're using the correct digital code and it still isn't working, please get in touch with our Customer Support team with details of the brand selected and any error message received, and we'll be happy to investigate further.

Extremely disappointing experience
It was quite the experience of hours of trying to navigate the instructions. I did this on behalf of someone and there must be a simpler solution to actually use a gift card. Would not buy this for anyone I’m afraid
