Very disappointing! Blood was coming out the bottom of the box it was delivered in. The cooler bag that the meat was transported in was not sealed. There was one small ice cooler bag for a lot of meat and in the heat we have at the moment. The mince I had to throw away as it was rancid and made me gag when I opened it up. The burgers looked like an after thought. The sausages were squished flat, the half leg of lamb was smaller than my hand. Will not be ordering again. I did send an email but got no response.

Excellent service from start to finish and products ordered were top top quality

The delivery was not great and just left on my doorstep. I had been waiting so brought it in before it could be stolen.
Opening the box was slightly concerning, everything was covered in blood, including the box. I guess with the hot weather the ice blocks complerely defrosted.
Everything was re-packaged I tried some if the boerwors and it took me back to Johannesberg, South Africa.
The half legs of lamb are exceptional and value for money.
The mutton was separated into two bags and will be great in my goat curry.
Packaging and delivery were a concern but the price and quality of meat the highest.

This is the third time I've used Bennetts, and if the quality remains the same, I will continue to purchase my meat from Bennetts.

Delivery was a day late actually however that's not the butcher's fault the meat quality was excellent and plenty of it will order again can't at the moment the freezer is chokka Ty to all concerned GG.

Goods packed well and delivered on time, good quality.
1 fail when a product was sent in error when the order was clearly marked (lamb chops plain)minted sent.
This was pointed out to the supplier but no reply received.

Honest and very good quality produce of meats,chicken and special's.. Simple to order on line, with easy checkout. Delivered on your selected day in food grade packaging with frozen/chilled iced packs for temperature control. 10/10.

The meat when delivered wasn’t even chilled, there was only one small dry-ice bag inside. The half leg of lamb was not even the size of my hand. Pork sausages were flattened, burgers were thin nothing like the picture show. The liver I had to fish out of a bag of blood. Last but not least and worst of all, the steak mince smells rancid making me gag. Will not be ordering again.

The meat is very good. The only downside is that I expected the burgers to be larger

Arrived on time.
1. When bag opened contained only one small ice/coolant bag which had melted. Meat felt only very slightly cooled.
2. When I cut open the boerwurst it stunk as it did when I deliberately overcooked it (a little too dried out with an internal temperature of 100c). Tonight I've not got off the pot!
3. The Belgian Blue steaks were not labelled properly as Belgian Blue. The ribeye had legible rib-eye labels with 'BB' written on them with blue marker pen. Also, the meat was very young looking (pink/red); previously it had a more aged/dark colour,
4. The Belgian Blue sirloin steaks were also very red with a totally illegible faded label on one of three packs only. There was no Blue marker pen 'BB' mark at all on any of these packets.
5. The Alabama pork ribeyes only had the rub on one side this time.
If slow grown beef has a higher value, even in inventory, wouldn't you expect it to definitely be properly labelled as such?
How can apparently vacuum packed boerwurst stink upon opening and when cooked?
Mr Bennett often says if we haven't got a cut just ask? Guess what I did and got no reply!
All of the above are/are indicative of poor quality control.
Not answering questions is what I'd expect from a blagger!
With regard to the Boerwurst I'm going to ask 'public protection' if they would test them for me.
My advice to any readers is go (back) to Campbell's.

Quality meat goog delivery service

BE CAREFUL BEFORE ORDERING. I have tried to avoid writing a bad review but have no other option after trying to resolve the issue with the butcher. I ordered 2 weeks ago £134 and upon delivery the meat was measured at between 12 and 14 degrees. I believe the problem is with DPD and not so much the butcher as they pick the delivery up a day before it’s delivered. Unfortunately I had to dispose of all the meat. The problem is that Bennett’s blame DPD and vice versa. After 2 weeks of trying to get a refund I have now given up and written off the money. I feel that others should know before ordering that although the meat looks to be of a good standard the delivery process is severely flawed and until Bennett’s address the issue more and more customers will be disappointed or worse still suffer with food poisoning.

I enjoy your Sunday morning promotion on YouTube. as an old state pensioner i have to budget. There is always something I fancy on the Sunday special. The delivery's are hit and miss,cheers bennetts.
