The survey was arranged promptly. Stephen Hinton carried out a Level 2 survey. He called to provide a short update on the initial findings. This was followed up with a more detailed discussion on the report. The report was sent within a matter of days, very quick! Stephen was informative and thorough. I highly recommend Braeside Surveyors. They undertook a Level 3 property report on the house I am hoping to purchase. The report is very comprehensive but understandable to a lay person. The report has given me confidence to address some concerns with the vendor but also that the house is basically sound. I would use this company again.

Having searched online for a while we came across this company and having read the positive reviews we contacted them. From the moment we spoke to them they were very professional. We had a gentleman called Steven who conducted our survey.. he was brilliant! His experience, knowledge and detailed report helped us make the right decision for the property we were purchasing. On the day Steven visited the property he contacted us after his visit and gave us a “mini” report with the full detailed report following a couple of days later. I used Braeside for my Homebuyer Report on my first home. The initial process was straightforward and they managed to book in my survey within 1 week, it was also the cheapest quote I found online. Stephen Hinton is the surveyor who carried out my report and I have only good words to say about my experience. The report raised quite a few problems (which were communicated the same day as the survey was undertaken) and Stephen has continued to provide me prompt advice and guidance throughout which has allowed me to sort these problems out. He even spoke to me whilst he was on his holiday, just amazing customer service and obviously a huge dedication to his work. Stephen has shown a great interest and care with the progress of the property that has been much appreciated. Thanks so much for all your help. Felt that survey was reasonably priced and was completed within a week of it being paid for.

Brilliant service - got these guys instructed through my mortgage lender as an upgraded survey, received a call beforehand to discuss any concerns we had ourselves, good communication throughout and after we received the report we got another call to talk through everything and get a breakdown of their findings. When I had questions later regarding the property and potential renovations we would look to do they gave us brilliant advice and their insights.

I filled out a form on a website to get a few quotes for a RICS2 survey. Braeside responded immediately and were the cheapest as well.

It was an easy process, filled out some forms online and paid the invoice. The survey was done the following week once they could get access to the property and this was all dealt with by them.

Had a lovely call from the surveyor after he’d seen the property and he talked me through the things he’d found.

I phoned and spoke with Shajid; he was excellent. He put me at ease, asked my questions about my house in a language that I understood and encouraged me to take time to consider his offer against other quotes I’d received.
I went with Braeside because I felt at ease with Shajid, there was no pressure and I felt confident in their abilities after the first conversation.
The paperwork was promptly sent over and an appointment was booked and communicated.
After the survey had been completed I received as email with the main findings. A full and in-depth report followed.
After sending the report, I received a phone call from Shajid letting me know it had been sent and that if there were any questions, I needed let him know and he would explain.
I phoned 2-3 times with questions and each time Shajid greeted me like an old friend. He took time to explain and didn’t end the call until he was reassured I fully understood.

I selected Braeside after sourcing several quotes for a Level 3 survey and reading guidance on the RICS website and WHICH consumer website.
Braeside were extremely professional from Nina on arranging the appointment and quote to the two Surveyors I spoke to at Braeside . Shajid was very knowledgeable and approachable and initially provided some desk top advice on a property I planned to purchase whilst I was still shortlisting surveyors!. He was able to review my initial email and distil my concerns I had about purchasing an older property and potential renovations. It was a real bonus to have some additional time from an experienced surveyor with a combination of technical and problem-solving skills. I was able to obtain some helpful pointers even before the actual appointment of Stephen Hinton. Stephen was super helpful. I was impressed that that they were able to turn around the appointment within a week of the instruction. Stephen attended the property and turned around a call to discuss both the positives and the issues the property had the same afternoon. The written report arrived within 4 working day . Stephen was very professional, experienced, pleasant, honest and solution focused even when the news wasn’t the best . The take away is that between Shajid and Stephen they allowed me to make informed decisions even with a curve ball of spray foam insulation in the loft space!. The written report was clear informative and allowed for rational decision making. They provide time for follow up questions without a change in tone. The quote was excellent value. I would say it was a John Lewis equivalent customer experience lots of positives best of all the advice. I would highly recommend the team at Braeside.
