Broil King Avis 

Worst bbq we have ever had and at nearly £500 if it wasn’t so expensive it would be in the bin now. The plates under the grill catch all the crap and block up and if you’re having a few friends round it would need stripping and cleaning at least 2 or 3 times in 1 afternoon. So in my opinion it is absolute junk this replaced a large bbq that we had for a good 5 years no problems and some good party’s cooking food I would never be able to do this with the broil. Only about 6 weeks old used 4x

Schon beim Aufbau funktionierten die Brenner kaum oder gar nicht.
Trotz sofortiger Reklamation gab es nur späte und unzureichende Hilfe.
Erst nach Einschaltung eines Anwalts kam der Kundendienst und der Verkäufer – nach ca. drei Stunden!!! Nachbesserungen (Austausch von Zündschiene, Piezozünder, Gasdüsen etc.) blieb das Problem bestehen.
Brenner zünden unregelmäßig, teilweise gar nicht.

Die Aussage von beiden, das sei „normal“, war für mich inakzeptabel.
Von einem neuen Grill erwarte ich zuverlässige Funktion.
Letztlich veranlasste der Rechtsanwalt das der Grill abgeholt wurde – ich bin froh, dieses mangelhafte Gerät und diesen Hersteller los zu sein.

Ich habe einen Broil King Baron 490 im Januar 2017 geschenkt bekommen. Er stand immer trocken unter einer Überdachung . Letztes Jahr im August 2024 dann die Enttäuschung. Die Grillwannen war durchgerostet (siehe Fotos) . Bei einem Anrufen bei Broil King Deutschland wurde mir gesagt, dass für die Grillwanne eine Garantie für 20 ( oder 25 Jahre, ich weiß es nicht mehr genau) besteht. Mir wurde Ersatz zugesichert. Das ganze zog sich bis Januar 2025 hin. Mir wurde mehrfach erklärt, dass es Lieferschwierigkeiten bezüglich der Grillwanne gäbe. Nachdem das Teil irrtümlich von Broil King irrtümlich an die Adresse des Zwischenhändlers, der gar nicht mehr existierte, geschickt worden war, erhielt ich Ende Februar 2025 das Ersatzteil . FRECHHEIT!!!
Zwar hatte ich jetzt eine Grillwanne, welche bereits zusammengebaut war, allerdings musste ich diese komplett auseinandergehen, um die Gasanschlüsse und Regler zu tauschen. Für einen Laien nicht nur gefährlich, sondern aufgrund der komplizierten Bauweise mit Zwischenblechen ein Ding der Unmöglichkeit!! Mein Sohn ist Werkzeugmechaniker, der hat gar nicht er damit angefangen. Man kommt an die Rückseiten der Schrauben gar nicht ran.
Nochmals an Broil King wurde mir mitgeteilt, dass es meine Aufgabe wäre, den Grill wieder zusammenzubauen. Bis heute ist der Grill nicht mehr nutzbar.,

Guter Grill, aber Gebrauchsspuren können aufgrund der billigen Lackierung nicht mehr von den seitlichen Tableaus entfernt werden. Und ich habe es WIRKLICH versucht.

Tried to call the ACTUAL 800 number: 1-800-265-2150 and all they do no matter how many buttons you push is just keep the recording on on options to push buttons. NOTHING gets connected. So I called another BBQ Parts company and THEY told me they don't carry any more Broil King parts because the company is and has been totally UN-Responsive to them too. Then the person told me "they heard" Broil King is going out of business. I'll bet they are too. So onward I go, trying to find the part that I need before I can't anymore! SOooooo Buyer Beware~!!!!!

Akta er för att investera i deras grillar. Köpte en Pellets Regal 500 för några år sedan genom Grillkungen i Mjölby och den rostade sönder på mindre än 18 månader. Fick då en ersättningsgrill som direkt slutade fungera då den aldrig kommer upp i mer än 240 grader och det känns som man kokar köttet istället för att grilla det. När garantitiden på 2 år går ut hänvisar Broil King till att de inte har något ansvar längre och då står du där med en totalt värdelös produkt som kostar 20.000 kr. Blev varnad av mina kompisar för Broil Kings produkter innan jag köpte den och skulle ha lyssnat på dem.

On my s3cond signet with broken doors x 2 and the usual rust on the burgers and internal workings / also the hood has some deterioration around the metal sort of white patches ... anyway would suggest that while the company had a good rep with bbq are not worth the money...

Einen BRAON 490 IR gekauft. Zusammengebaut und festgestellt, dass der Seitenbrenner nicht funktioniert. Jetzt schreibe ich über Grillfürst seit dem 29.06. Emails Fotos hin und her und kann meinen 1.800€ Grill immer noch nicht voll nutzen. Guter Service hätte meinen Seitenbrenner einfach ausgetausch und fertig. Stattdessen ca 1 Monat Emails schreiben, dies testen das Fotografieren und jenes versuchen und beendet ist der Vorgang immer noch nicht. Schade, ich mag Broil King aber nach der Erfahrung wechsel ich wieder zum deutschen Hersteller Napoleon. Hier ist der Kundenservice deutlich besser.

Absoluter Top BBQ aber nach 8 Jahren, kann da so mahl was zu erneuern erscheinen. Kein issue für sas BK after sales department. IN 2 Tagen die neue Teilen unter Garantie zuhause. Und das Wtter spielt mit: BBQ time!!

Jag köpte Broil King Baron. Har haft den i fyra år.
Gallret rostar o flagor åker av. Gasolutloppet är helt sönderrostad, skyddet mellan grill o gasol har jag bytt trots att det är rostfritt, tändaren glappar o tänder bara ibland.
Hade Weber kolgrill innan. Den höll fortfarande efter 15 år. Inte alls nöjd tyvärr.
De delar jag måste byta som rostat sönder kostar 4.000kr att byta. Men jag köper hellre meny grill

Purchased a Broil King 490pro shadow last week and been using it daily! What a beast. Most Gas grills don't make the food taste this good.
The one I got apparently can be converted to add a pellet hopper later this year

Nie mehr Broil King, alles rostet, Farbe blättert am Deckel ab, Reinigung fast unmöglich!

Meine Frau hatte mir 2017 einen Baron 590 geschenkt. Am Anfang lief der Grill ganz gut, wie jeder günstigere Grill auch. Im Sommer 2024 fiel mir auf, dass die Grillwanne durchgerostet war. Auf Anfrage bei Broil King Deutschland (August 2024) wurde mir mitgeteilt, dass ich auf die Grillwanne 20 Jahre (oder sogar 25 Jahre, ich weiß es nicht mehr so genau) habe. Mir wurde eine neue Grillwanne zugesagt. Nach mehrfachen Nachfragen und einem Fehlversand an eine falsche Adresse, wurde mir die Wanne im Februar 2025 zugesandt.
Allerdings ist die Montage der alten Gasanschlüsse auf die neue Wanne ein Ding der Unmöglichkeit. Außerdem ist es sehr gefährlich, da man die Gasverteiler umbauen soll. Für einen Laien wie gesagt unmöglich. Von Broil King wurde mir gesagt, dass es in Deutschland keine Monteure für derartige Arbeiten gibt.
Der Grill ist keinesfalls hochwertig und langlebig.

On recommendation and have already used it many times and must say that it is the best bar b q I have had.The quality is first class and has all the facilities that I need including a rotisserie and control knobs that light up.The after sales is also very good

Looking at lots of reviews, it seems that one particular problem seems to be common. That is the so called 'Powder Coated' finish on the Aluminium Cooking Box.
Bought mine in 2019 after a couple of Year the finish started with small bubbles and over the last couple of years is just flaking off on the side panels.
This is despite always wiping to down and a full cover in the Winter.
However, the section in the middle covered by the Stainless Steel is OK.
The problem is the Aluminium is now is Oxidising (going powdery).
Poor quality for what are pretty expensive BBQ's

Had had my new Broil King installed in my garden kitchen just over a year when the burners basically had a malfunction. Have to say dealing with Broil King team was a pleasure and excellent after sales service. Despite a bit of a wait we had the engineer visit with all the relevant parts and had it fixed and working ready for the summer.

Har en Broil king Monarch 320 ,hvor risten er rustet igennem på andet sæt riste, efter det første sæt riste også var rustet igennem. Prisen (1000 kr.) er 1/3 del af nyprisen og det er ikke tilfredsstillende på en grill, der ellers fungere rigtig fint! Det er rigtig ærgerlig for jeg er glad for grillen. Skal nu overveje at kassere grillen, da det næppe kan betale sig at købe et nyt sæt riste, da de ikke kan fås i stål
