Broil King Avis 

Bought this unit due to it's name brand and price. Could not get it to work and customer service gave us a few tips. Logic says switches go from off to low to full same as a water tap, propane tank, stove, but no the burner ones go from off to full to low. That was the issue. Once got that sorted out everything works fine.

I purchased a Broil King BBQ. After a few years the frame collapsed so I was unable to move it. I contacted the manufacturer and they were not interested and told me to contact their local distributor which was 150 miles away. They were not interested either. So I dumped it and bought a Weber, which is far superior in design and quality.

I purchased a beautiful Broil King Baron 590 Pro 5-Burner Natural Gas BBQ Grill in Black w/ Side Burner & Rear Rotisserie. The first time i used it, the BBQ caught fire. Everything that was below the gas burners was completely destroyed by the fire, wires, hoses, knobs and much more. I was able to shut the natural gas valve off before my house caught on fire. I reached out to Broil King about a replacement BBQ. I sent pictures and receipts. They denied my request saying that they would only replace specific components. It would be up to me to repair my ruined BBQ. There was no concern for the cause of the fire or that my BBQ may be defective. Terrible experience. I am out a $1500 BBQ but at least my family and house are safe

Just bought new Broil king baron 490. Poor assembly instructions without descriptions and part numbers. Hose part with bracket was too short to attach to the base. Plasitc Gas hose was damaged as it was folded instead of coiled. After week and a half, support agreed to replace it without shipping cost which doesnt make sense. Heets show and not even. Food burns at the edges. Doesn't look reliable to last longer than few years. Do not recommend it.

My Broil King suddenly stopped working, I emailed a video of the problem, one day later the support team had sent out spares parts by express courier! Amazing Service, Epic BBQ - Highly recommend!

I have 2 Broilking devices. 1 gas BBQ which is over 10 years old, and 1 pellet smoker about 2 -3 years old.
The pellet smoker recently developed a problem. Broilking UK could not have been more helpful. The parts required arrived next day and my pellet smoker was up and running again. Thank you Broilking.

Purchasing this barbecue 6 years ago was basically a waste of money parts are back ordered no idea when they will be there

Købte i april 2021 en Broil King Regal 490 SS til kr. 9.999 i den forventning af denne grill ikke ville ruste og at den skulle være bedre end Weber.
Købte også originalt opbevaringshylster.
Den har på alle måder skuffet , da alle rør og dele er rustne. Bagbrænder gennemtæret trods at den kun er brugt tre gange. Grillrist er også rusten og er uanvendelig.
En kæmpe skuffelse at en grill til denne pris er så ringe.
Den er uanvendelig og bliver smidt ud.

I bought a Regal about 5 years ago paying $NZ3k hoping it would be high quality as I live by the sea. The unit is kept covered when not in use. The small area of stainless steel tends to have surface rust which show that it is of poor quality but this is not a major issue as it is easily removed. The steel componentry is of poorly galvanised steel which rusts. The cast aluminium is poorly powdercoated and flakes off. The csst steel is OK. The castor wheels become locked despite regular lubrication. The unit is extremely disappointing and certainly not worth the money. Would not recommend this product.

I've had a frustrating few months trying to get a couple of issues with my Broil King Baron sorted via the retailer. (Think they had some issues with their email system)

The BBQ was damaged on arrival and a wheel broke off so I decided to contact them direct.
I had a response within minutes advising of an upgrade to the wheels and a replacement burner part.

I exchanged some lovely emails with them and they gave me some recipe ideas etc. True customer service as it should be (and rarely seen nowadays)

The BBQ is also pretty epic ........ without doubt the best BBQ I have ever used. Who knew a grill could be this much better!!
I won't hesitate in buying another in 20 years when this one wears out!!

I have loved my Broil King 500 Pellet Smoker. As of late it’s developed a problem. I called Broil King Canada customer service and got someone who basically did not understand the unit but relayed the info to someone who apparently does. The resolution was good if it had related to my issue but when I finally was given an opportunity to respond it clearly didn’t relate to my situation. Instead of going back to the tech I got cut off and told…”well that’s the answer I got”. Thanks Broil King…thanks for nothing. This is not the company we once knew years ago.

Absoloutly love my Broil King pellet smoker. The team at Broil King UK have been fantastic to deal with helping me choose the right BBQ with their extensive knowledge. The vast range of Broil King accessories are made to the same superior quality as the BBQs themselves I can't stop buying them! My BBQing has really stepped up, I'm even using it in the winter, its too much fun and the food is so tasty! Thank you so much!

My BBQ (Sterling 822-3 a Broil King Brand) is 17 years old, still works fine, customer service is still great. When I need a spare part, I can get it, so my BBQ is still cooking! Customer service is great.

I cannot praise BroilKing and SoCal Southampton enough. A minor issue with our new Regal gas bbq at the beginning was swiftly and comprehensively resolved with total satisfaction on our part. I hope a bit more ‘summer’ will allow us to enjoy the bbq experience even more.

I had a problem with my barbecue, I telephoned customer service, explained the problem, to Carol, who was very helpful, Carol arranged for the part to be sent to me and for the engineer,James to change the parts.
James was absolutely brilliant he is a credit to his company.
I would recommend OMG, ESPECIALLY FOR THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE, and the Broil king bbq .

Purchased a MONARCH 390 in Jan 2019. It has been well cleaned and covered at all times when not in use and I would only consider it use as moderate. 1 x per week mid spring to mid autumn. However, I needed to take a look last last NZ summer i.e. Jan2023 when the burners weren't going very well. The burners are fixed in place by a screw and surprise surprise being a BBQ they have welded them selves in making it impossible to service, very much a pure design fault especially when compared to other models with pins. I contacted the local NZ distributor who only work via email and they simply were not interested. This is most likely against NZ consumer law but alas they would not budge. As such I'm now stuck with a BBQ that doesn't function as it should at 4 years old. This being the case I would not recommend either Broil King or a Monarch as it has a design fault and to make it worse zero support or care.

Having purchased the Broil King Regal 400 Charcoal Grill from another outlet and experiencing a fault with one of the grates, of which they had failed to resolve, I contacted Broil King direct regarding who expertly addressed the situtation and immediately organised a replcement. This is perfect customer service, something the other outlet could learn from.

Broil King have also provided me with the correct information with regards to purchasing a rotisserie for the Regal, of which I went on to purchase direct through them. Wish I had purchased the cover from them too instead of giving my money to the other outlet for one.

BTW, the Regal vs my old grill, no contest. The Regal is an excellent well manufactured piece of kit. Very Happy.
