ibiza. Al ritiro non ho visionato bene il mezzo; al ritorno la ragazza che controllava si è buttata subito sulle parti in plastica nera nelle parti basse dell'auto e non sulla carrozzeria. Esce un graffio di circa 2 cm sul paraurti in plastica grezzo nero... assurdo... 2 cm., mi addebitano 350 euro. Non ho firmato il verbalino, vista la truffa di questa pessima compagnia.

Con tutte le recensioni negative avevamo timore di noleggiare con questa compagnia, invece all'aeroporto di Trapani Birgi abbiamo noleggiato due 500 per quattro giorni e non abbiamo avuto nessun problema, sia di riconsegna sia di prezzi nascosti che non erano segnalati. Non conosco la situazione nelle altre città ma se doveste capitare trapani mi sento di consigliare il loro servizio.

I rented a car recently from Budget company in BERGAMO airport to be returned to Malpensa airport next day. I am a very frequent traveller and I have rented from different airports across Europe and USA. Therefore I am comparing this experience with previous ones. This company is a total scam. Renting from them is at your own risk and responsibility. I should have red the reviews before renting. I returned the car within working hours and there was no one at the drop office, I had to go to the airport to renting office where they told me to leave the keys in a box near the drop office. No one reviewed the car. Then I found they charged my credit card extra money for repair for car damage! After thousands of emails they send me a picture of what they called “Dent” and charged unbelievable amount of money for that! I was going to dispute that however after reading the reviews here I realised there is no point they are professional in what they are doing.

I'm a frequent business traveller, renting cars several times every month. This time, I rented a car at Budget in Bologne Airport, Italy through my Expedia account. Total price 378 EUR for 4 days (330 EUR in advance and 47 EUR for mandatory snow chains at pickup).

Due to change in flight, I arrived 4 hours earlier, and was okay with paying more for the 4 hours (in theory 1 rental day more). My complaint is, that I ended up paying 809 EUR total, so 114% or 431 EUR more. This is not in anyway okay.

I rented a car and after i paid 250 euro deposit, they told me that i m going to received my money back after 16 working days….it s been 3 months and i didn’t receive anything….

Areoporto Bergamo Orio, ci hanno dato una macchina più grande di quella richiesta, la frizione praticamente andata, il vetro al ritiro sporchissimo sia dentro che fuori di una sostanza oleosa.
Al ritiro il ragazzo ha controllato la macchina stranamente è andato dritto ad un piccolo puntino nel parabrezza che era già presente, ma non abbiamo fatto la foto nel parcheggio perché il vetro era stranamente tutto sporco e copriva il danno, avevamo la foto poco dopo l'uscita dai parcheggi perché abbiamo cercato qualcosa per pulirlo e il danno c'era, ma visto che la foto è stata fatta fuori non era valida.
Addebitati 320 di cui 260 resi da rental assicurazione. Dei 260 del danno ci sono stati aggiunti 60 di "oneri" che non vengono rimborsati, più ci hanno riaddebitato il costo del noleggio che avevamo già pagato

What a joke of a company. The breaks started failing just before reaching our destination. Managed to park up and 24 hours later still trying to get hold of someone. Their roadside assistance number doesn’t work, neither, it seems, do any of their other contact numbers. Not sure how we are getting back to Malpensa airport or how much this fiasco is going to cost me. AVOID

At the Budget/Avis rental car at Malpensa Airport in Milan, I requested a car with room for a lot of luggage, and we were offered and rented a Jeep Compass 4XE, which is a Hybrid plug-in vehicle.

Unfortunately:

- The vehicle did not have an owner's manual in the glove compartment
- It came with only 2% electric charge on the big battery
- The charging cable provided was suitable only for home use
- There was no snow scraper provided with the vehicle, which mattered because we had three inches of snow on 12/31/23
- There was no windshield wiper solution

Not being an expert on hybrid plug-in vehicles, I was afraid that if the big battery went down to zero percent charge I would no longer be able to start the car. I called Budget Roadside assistance to ask this question, and was told I would have to research
it myself using Google, as the only "service" they could provide was to tow the car to Bolzano if it were inoperable.

When the three inches of icy snow came on 12/31/23, I had to scrape it off the windshield with a bedroom slipper, which was not easy to do.

Next time, I'll rent from one of Budget's competitors for a better and more relaxing experience.

Atterrati a Linate con l'aereo in perfetto orario (14.00), avevamo in mente di vedere e fare vedere al bambino Milano centro (Duomo etc.) Ma, in seguito ad una prenotazione online fatta giorni prima, abbiamo dovuto attendere 1h solo per l'assegnazione della macchina e dopo un'altra ora per reperire le catene già incluse nella prenotazione fatta online giorni prima. Le catene non c' erano state fornite (x fortuna mio marito ha visto che mancavano perché sarebbe stato un vero problema se non ce ne fossimo accorti) e non riuscivano a trovare un paio di catene compatibili con l'auto in precedenza assegnata. Altra ora sprecata. Alla fine, dopo una mia sfuriata ci hanno assegnato un'altra macchina, una che era appena arrivata per cui sporca e davvero maleodorante ...dopo 2 ore sottratte al giro in Milano centro bloccati in aeroporto. Esperienza negativissima. I dipendenti con i quali ho parlato per chiedere spiegazioni e che ci fossero dare queste catene continuavano a dire che loro non c'entravano nulla perché avevano appena attaccato in turno ignorando le mie domande, senza neanche scusarsi. Mai più budget.

Never felt so scammed and cheated by a company as I have by these sharks . One star flatters this mob .
Handed keys to a car over to a car in cagliari Airport, in a dark covered car park that we queued over an hour for , no one was present to check this car over and off we went. We drove for 4 days , dropped the car back immaculate, fully fueled and had to endure this lady acting out an inspection and tutting etc . Once we asked her what was wrong she pointed to a 2mm scratch- chip on the windscreen that was so minute it wasn't noticeable but she insisted it would need the whole screen replacing. I work in the motor trade and said at worst this would be a repair if that , after half an hour deliberating she agreed it would be a repair which at most should be 75 euros , and they then proceeded to at 975 euros off my credit card that I didn't authorise . Scamming cupid stunts ... if it costs nearly 1000 pound to repair a windscreen I'm packing up and moving to Sardinia to open a screen repair service , I'm in the wrong business . We spoke to customer services once back in the UK and they was as helpful as a chocolate teapot . After looking through some holiday photos we've spotted that the world's tiniest £1000 euro chip was there in a photo taken shortly after collecting the car.. hmmmm potal tricks ... ( work that out ) so in short only use if you have a fetish for being ripped off otherwise save your self some grief and money and hire from anyone else but these budget cowboys . 🤠

My experience with Avis/Budget in Italy was absolutely infuriating. When I rented the car, there was already significant damage around the car, which was properly documented on the rental agreement. No damage was done to the car while renting it. Upon return, no one was at the counter to inspect the vehicle, and they required us to return the agreement with the keys. Shockingly, the next morning, I was charged me $1000 for pre-existing damage that was clearly documented. When I disputed the damage, they outright denied the damage on the agreement. This level of dishonesty and extortion from Avis/Budget is disgraceful. Avoid them at all costs.

Auto esattamente come prenotazione, era nuova e perfette condizioni generali. Velocissime le operazioni di ritiro e riconsegna e personale attento e cordiale.
Prezzi chiarissimi come previsti con tanto di rimborso inatteso del carburante avanzato al rientro. (politica carburante usata: consegna con PIENO / riconsegna Vuoto). Deposito sbloccato dalla carta di credito dopo soli 3 giorni!.
Onestamente mi erano venuti svariati dubbi vedendo le tante recensioni negative ma la mia esperienza personale è stata ottima.

Bad and frastrating experience in any way.
A frequent traveler, so I have a comparison point of view.
First - the service was one big mess. hours of waiting.
Second - we were given a malfunctioned car that broke, the response was not satisfying and we had to take a taxi on our expense to get back to Venice AP (250KM) and take a replacement.
The worse: we were charged on a significant amount without reason and without any notice. They did it because they can and may also and probably will do it to you too. be careful!!!

Abbiamo prenotato una macchina e dopo ci hanno consegnato una molto peggiore che quella che abbiamo pagato e in peggiore stato. Anche nella store di firenze ci hanno detto che potevamo pagate cash (avevamo portato dinero proprio per questo) e nel ritorno della macchina non ci hanno lasciato e abbiamo dovuto pagare con la card.

I've read the reviews here and honestly was terrified to give Budget a go. There weren't many cars available in Catania Airport, but the one from budget was fair value for money and smooth experience.

They encourage you to take pictures/a video of the car when you pick it up and they are super honest about what scratches are present in the beginning.

I'd definitely hire from them again.

We rent from Budget Fumcino airport:
When we came to take the car st the counter - the lady says they don't have the same class car as we order - but they can give us Delux car Volvo XC90(!) in the price.
We're not so happy because it is too big for the smsll streets of south Italy but there no other choice...ok we took the car for the trip.
Shortly after we return the car I noticed Budget charge of 1475€!!!
When I call the office to ask for the charge they answer that the charge is because I asked for such big car.
I realized that I fall in to trap and they hide in small letters in the agriment that I choose to upgrade.
They just thieves - don't ever take a car from them busterds.

Assolutamente da evitare. Abbiamo noleggiato un'auto a Parigi e già lì sono iniziati i problemi: 1h e mezza solo per prendere l'auto (nonostante la prenotazione di mesi). L'agenzia si dimentica di darci i biglietti per uscire da garage e non vi dico cosa ho dovuto fare per tornare a piedi a prenderli. Durante il noleggio si rompe lo specchietto retrovisore lato guida nello scontro con altra auto (non per forza colpa mia) e mi addebitano 268 euro. Non solo! Devo cambiare auto, ma me ne danno una più piccola, perdendo comunque 2 giorni. Quando ho l'incidente mi mandano un carro attrezzi! Il tizio che arriva mi chiede perché sia stato chiamato visto che il danno è il solo specchietto! Poi mi dà un indirizzo per andare a cambiare lo specchietto in una officina a Lorient. Ricontatto Budget e mi dicono che invece la macchina va sostituita e devo andare in un'altra città. Ovviamente contattare l'agenzia è un problema mio. Loro non muovono un dito. L'agenzia di Parigi è impossibile da contattare e a me era necessario perché scopro che nella macchina non hanno messo il libretto di circolazione e il tagliando assicurativo è scaduto. Insomma un casino senza ricevere la benché minima assistenza. Ma ora se la vedranno con il mio legale. Non esiste essere abbandonati nel bel mezzo del nulla in Francia, senza essere assistito, con un perenne scarica-barile.

Evitate l'agenzia di Milano stazione centrale sono dei ladri veri. In particolar modo le ragazze presenti alle ore 15:00 del 8 giugno. Scappate..
