Burlinghamcaravans Avis 

Just purchased a swift Alpine 2 off Burlingham caravans with the help of Alex. We had a good look around and found the van that we wanted. Then Alex got us the keys and left us to it to make sure it was right for us and without the feeling of being pressured in the slightest. Great handover and called us to make sure all was ok. Just had a couple of little glitches then he booked it straight in to get them sorted. Just collected the van a week later and all sorted no drama and 100% done in a profesional manner.. Thankyou Alex for the honest friendly service. And the banter 😉 i would definitely come back should I need an upgrade in the future and use Burlingham again.

We had a problem with the fridge it was cutting out when gas was selected. on our coachman caravan which was purchased from burlingham caravans.we tried a local repair centre in Scotland, they could not get the problem fixed,Alex made an appointment for us to return the van to them for repair.
Alex kept us updated on the repair, our lovely van works a treat now,

Recently purchased Bailey grande Messina was just what we wanted didn't really look to closely ( I will in future) not that there was much wrong just niggles you only see once you've taken delivery.
I did get quite upset as I thought I had purchased the perfect van, Alex who sold us the van was great and said he would organize for an engineer and a member of staff to go to the sight where my van is to check the van and to do if not all most of the repairs some agreed at time of purchase and some not this would not normally happen but I can't tow so I'm impressed with the aftercare you get from burlinghams and that's the part we don't see but if you are unfortunate to find faults after delivery Alex and his team have been very prompt answering and dealing with my complaints staff trying to help as best they can.
As I'm writing this the engineer is visiting my van to check and to try and rectify some of the faults which are all cosmetic and in my opinion maybe a design issue with Bailey but the warranty from Bailey doesn't transfer to the new owner unfortunately but Alex is still trying his best for us.
So far Alex has organized new carpets even though only realized something wrong on delivery, and new blind and light agreed upon purchase, don't know the outcome of this week's visit yet as I've left the key with them so they can do the work.
So my opinion of Burlinghams, Alex and his team would I buy a caravan from them again absolutely yes it is good to have a knowledgeable salesperson but crucial when something goes wrong out of the team I couldn't fault them just 1 member who was very blunt didn't gloss anything up whatsoever maybe it's good to be straight but I didn't like it but I'm sure it's a learning curve for us all but it's the reason I've only given 4 stars.
The sign of a good team is the aftercare you get when things go wrong, still waiting for the outcome of today's visit?

Today's update could not be more pleased with the work carried out on our caravan personal up date from Phil the owner on the jobs they have been able to do fantastic after sales.

Bought a caravan new to us from Alex the Sterling elite 570 . From the start the whole process was great, very laid back sales allowed us to look round the van for as long as we needed to comfortably make a purchase. There was a very comprehensive check done on the caravan and any small issues were resolved before collecting the caravan. Great purchase for a new caravanner. Would recommend these when purchasing again! Very easy people to make a purchase from and all helpful staff. I can imagine the after sales will be just as good.

We recently purchased a caravan from Burlingham caravans and I couldn't recommend them enough. From the minute we went to look, to picking the van up today, Alex has been superb! Customer Service is second to none, nothing too much trouble. We were giving a fantastic hand over, very informative and extremely pleased with the whole experience.

Everything was explained to us in great detail and all the paperwork seemed to be a breeze. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Burlingham if you are wanting to purchase a caravan go and have a look they have a big selection, Alex didn't rush us and nothing was too much trouble and he tried to sort out everything we needed and gave lots of good advise, tea & cake and even gave us a mini lesson with the motor mover 😁 top class all round friendly service!

We have just bought a caravan from Burlingham caravans Norman and the staff there were brilliant nothing was too much trouble very friendly and know what there talking about I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone thinking of getting a caravan

We were very well looked after by Alex. We found the caravan we wanted quickly and he was helpful without being pushy. We did have to wait six weeks until the van was prepared but this was made clear at the outset and Alex did ensure it was ready for the commitments we had booked in. After sales service has been very good so far and we hope there are no forthcoming problems. Very pleased with the van.

Would stay well clear of this caravan dealers. They offered me a price for my caravan against one of theirs which was accepted. After travelling the 2 hour round trip to complete the deal I was extremely shocked that the price had unexpectedly increased by 700 pounds. I was given no explanation just a shrug of the shoulders, and feel that clearly their words mean nothing. A very disgruntled customer. BUYER'S BEWARE. If you are still unsure about this company check out the terrible reviews on the Google review site and other review sites such as yell. Com and plenty more linked to burlingham caravans. There are plenty of other horrendous reviews.

This is a reply to your inadequate response. The price was agreed on the Saturday and by the time I turned up to do the deal you had changed your price by 700 pounds. You are blatantly lying about the deal that was done. Once again I recommend everybody should stay well clear of this unprofessional outfit.

Great service from Alex. He’s very helpful and sorted for us to collect our new to us van quickly. All the Caravans look really great quality here compared to other dealers we looked around. Friendly customer service and not pushy at all.

Would definitely recommend them and come back in the future if we upgrade.
